Wanna fight? I got a ship... But it's sure I have to expand my army soon, avoiding being beaten by the everlasting Redcoat threat.

My first MLCad ship L' Unité WIP.

Any news on this promising project dear friend? I'm eager to see this beauty in real. -
One of Erdy's hobbies is cooking I believe, so I guess he is pouring some...stuff...in the soup. I'd better watch out before eating soup next time.

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Captain Blackmoor replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Nothing more to say, keep this wonderful build up CGH! I'm looking forward to see the large ammount of details on the stern. -
Nice British army you've got there Armendariz! I guess they are training targets for your Bluecoat army since they have no weapons? I have 2 Redcoats! And about 25 Bluecoats A few officers and stuff like that. That's all! You've beaten me! Lucky enough you are still on the Bluecoat side.

No worries about our fleet CGH! I'm planning to make a new ship, larger then the Formidable... All I need is time and the exams are coming. After that I start building. :pir-skull:

This is probably the first shipyard I see on CP. The MOC is very well executed, some nice details in it and some staff members. What is Ice Cream doing with that dynamite? Great entry Zuloo!
-
Great work! Nice storyline and nice work on the MOCs, especially the water looks great. I'm eager to see the next part.
-
Remember our fleet is at it's full strength, your ship is still in the dockyard, and so do others. We will give you a warm welcome. I hope this ship is quickly finished Hound Knight! Nice avatar you got there.
-
I was also wondering why there is an Imperial Flagship at the background while there are Bluecoats in the movie.

I remember my own first self made LEGO pirate ship. You've done a good job for your first boat! The ship could do with more colours and details to add a nice feeling to it. So I would say: Add some more details to the cabin, make fences on the forecastle and some ropes (custom perhaps) to flourish it up! Great work so far!

This is awesome! So much well executed action in it. And the sounds are really good as well. I hope to see more videos from this guy in the future.

It looks like my CCC entry. Great work LuxorV! The flames out of the hull are nice and there is a lot of action going on. The water is nice as well.

"Bonaparte: Ok, well first of all, I’m a big fan of history. I wanted to study history, but in the end I didn’t, but history has always been a bit my hobby and there’s a big link between what I do with LEGO and my passion for history. So whenever I see or hear something on the topic of historic fact, I try to bring it to life by building it or doing something around it with LEGO bricks. And that’s been really the red line between me, my passion for history and LEGO bricks. I’ve been looking for which time period I would focus on. Eventually I ended up with the Napoleonic era, so everything I’ve been building is situated around the 1800’s, the Napoleonic era. So from now all my MOCs, be it an army, a ship or building, has to fit into that time period else I’ll have too many things that don’t remotely fit together." I believe I've found a kind of soulmate! Exactly the same here, my whole LEGO obsession started like this way. Nice job on the interview guys! Other people's stories about LEGO are always very interesting to read, I'm happy the "Behind the Helm series" are here! Now I'm very eager to see the next episode!

Ooo I didn't know that part wasn't finished yet. It's a hard part to do, the bow as well. I think this ship will turn out really good and it would be even more awesome if you build it in real!

Awesome creation Erdy! I really like it. The idea is great and it's also funny you put CP staff in it, along with their character traits. The MOC itself is a masterpiece at it's own. Amazing details like the flesh on the table, the water looks great. Especially the Prince Willim! Kahuka is casting an odd spell which looks cool. The hut and the tree near it are very well done. Great entry Erdbeereis! I wish you the best of luck!

It looks great so far, the coloursheme is very striking but the cabin points out far too much over the hull. I see a nice start on the bow. Keep it up!

Looks like the horse has some tattoos. Great drawing, I knew I was good with the pencil but I can't draw LEGO minifigs and animals.

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
Captain Blackmoor replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
There's no picture by the first Ebay item Lego Pirates I 6248 Volcano Island Zorro. You got an expensive BB there Ironhook. I haven't got one. I spend my money on Bricklink orders so I get only the pieces I want. Around 80 USD/Euro is far too expensive for a ship like the BB I think. -

My computer got an error while I was posting, I clicked "add post" too much I think and now there are 3 of 'em! I'm making another MOC for tomorrow (my birthday! YaY!) containing those soldiers. -
This should be posted in the Pirate MOCforum but it's not a big problem of course. You've build a wonderful ship there. The shapes are quite accurate and you haven't even used a prefab hull! The headrails and tumblehome looks awesome, and just like Martinsuper said it's a very good job to do this on LDD or MLCAD since I have lots of trouble with it. Great job on it! Are you planning to build it in real?

Remember there were people in the army only 16-17 years old. Unexperienced on the battlefield... I didn't know that "kid" was your sigfig. I'm glad you like it. -
My first MLCad ship L' Unité WIP.
Captain Blackmoor replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Pirate MOCs
I'm just wondering what the difference between LDD and MLCAD is, I have MLCAD myself but I want to try LDD as well. You're not stupid, except the fact you are on the Redcoats side. -

Captain Blackmoor replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Pirate MOCs
First I apologize for the double post. I think this is a quite stupid question but what is the difference between LDD and MCLAD? I want to know both so I can start building 'digital LEGO' too. I just want to pick the best one. -
I think it's an amazing piece of work! The galleries look very realistic. I'm curious about how you are planning to make the stern and the bow... Keep it up!
