  1. Very nice! They look really good, especially the helm from the left guy in the first picture. But I didn't know the French had dwarf units in their army, I see a guy with a large axe and a large beard... Good work!
  2. Nice find Bonaparte! Props for the creator, it's a really nice creation. Especially the mini scale ship is nice, every detail is on it. The wreck is also very nice. He has also done a great job on the perspective view like Guss said. Anybody noticed the pirate flag is upside down?
  3. Well, I see some gems, weapons and a spyglass. The Castle event calendar had a complete turkey, furniture, fruits, fishies and cool minifigs. Gems and weapons are quite common items. The items in the Castle calendar were quite rare since they are only in the Market Village.
  4. This could be a nice thing to have at the event time. But I'm a little dissappointed since there are not much details in it. The Castle event set had lots of useful and rare accessoires.
  5. Walls from star forts were incredibly thick, a few meters. The thickness of those walls are realistic. But the length of the walls should be expanded to get the right proportion, like Matt said. Are you plannig to give it an update? That would be great!
  6. I've seen this ship before, and it has improved in some way. The white walls at the back are bugging me though, the rest of the ship is very nice. At sea, size matters!
  7. Ahaa, you see I'm not so familiar with Ldraw, I use it now and then but that's it. I really have to use those codes on the other pc soon, since this one has no Ldraw and I'm too lazy to install it here. It's a great technique you tried there, it seems to be it works well. I'm planning to make a fort like this, perhaps slightly larger but I will use your technique for the walls. Thanks!
  8. When I click the link there appears a huge bunch of codes, perhaps an image from the Ldraw MOC would do a better job. A screenshot would be fine too.
  9. That looks very promising! A very nice project so far. I'm curious about how you are planning to make the stern for this beauty. Keep it up!
  10. Thanks Armendariz! Now I can finally locate myself on the open seas. I'm not really sure on which side you are now General Armendariz...not with the Redcoats I hope!
  11. I knew you were a HOAX man Armendariz, but now you desert the French army for the British! How dare you? But what's the sextant at BrickLink called? I really need that device! I believe I am a Count now! YaY!
  12. Awesome nice pics you got there, I see some really nice decals. Great job on them. What are some guys holding in their hands? 3rd picture, left man for example, it looks like a German WWII grenade. The Imperial soldier in the second picture has a pirate hat!
  13. I think that tumblehome is quite good, but the center of the ship should be slightly wider. Otherwise you'll get a straight ship without nice lines along the broadside. I'm planning to build a new ship as well, but I still don't know which kind of tumblehome I should use. I'm lookin' forward to the new pics!
  14. I can't wait for the new contest! I hope it is BIG, just like the PTV Contest!
  15. Awesome work again Trash! Your decals are very good as well. You did a great job making decals and using BrickForge weapons combined with real LEGO. Ceasar looks cool too.
  16. Awesome work! The landscape is good as well but the house is perfect! I think the colours fit well with eachother, the medieval ages were colourful ages! Great MOC!
  17. I think I could stay there for a few days, really cool design and the interior is super. Great work on all the details too.
  18. You are a cruel man SlyOwl... Dare I to ask what happened to the guys chained to the rock? If you see , run like hell...!
  19. I was planning to build something similar to this, but then in light and dark grey. The fort is very simple, yet effective against enemies! This is the first star fort I see from LEGO, and it looks great. The walls and the small building inside are very nicely done, especially the techniques to make an angled wall is nice. Great creation and it is a good source of inspiration, I'm sure!
  20. I'm defenitely sure I have commented on this one on MOCpages right? It is still even awesome, the decal looks great and the French flag at the background fits very nice with it.
  21. Which tree from which set do you mean?
  22. It's perfect this way, the lower gun deck doesn't end up with a cabin at the back. There is room for additonal cannons or the carpenter's room. The middle gun deck has a cabin at the back, perfectly done here. The quarterdeck has also a cabin at the back, meant for the captain or admiral himself. Also neatly done. I think the stern fits perfectly, the whole black line doesn't need to be the perfect seperation between the decks, the seperation is at the top of the black line. The deck inside is less curved then the stripe on the hull. Otherwise the goodies would roll over to the center and finally the ship could break apart.
  23. Awesome decal you've got there! I'm sure I have seen it somewhere before, on MOCpages I believe. Good job on the graphic work too, good luck on the contest!
  24. Mine! Mine! All Mine! I wish that was true, a wonderful creation Lukemax! I am in love with this beauty! I see you've put lots of effort in this ship, the tumblehome is very well done, as well the techniques for the stern. Especially the overlap between the tumblehome and the stern is a very hard thing to do, you have really succeeded in it. As Bonaparte mentioned the sails are a bit lifeless, perhaps you can make the distance between the yards smaller so the sails will bulb up. I should make the sails above the bowsprit a little more taller, the sail at the back should be placed lower The curved line in the ship is nice, but I should lift the line in the center a bit more upwards, otherwise you'll get the effect like something heavy fell on it. The rigging looks fine to me but perhaps are cloth sails better, and even more realistic. Keep it up matey, you're doing great with your ships!
  25. I believe 5 of them, that almost matches my ship! Help!
