I am fond of your animation skills. It runs so smoothly and the water splashes are fantastic! Yet very simple, but very handy! I don't really like the ship, but I do like the fact you've used only bricks which were avaible in 1970.

I've arrived at my house again after our amazing day. We have spend a good time working and talking about ships and building techniques. No doubt this will turn into a mighty vessel once it's finished! I can't wait for more updates! I think the cabin will turn out fantastic with realistic interior and beautiful stern. And I really like the yellow hoses used to be the headrails. I wish you all the best YnyklY!

Thanks! I think only the musket needs an update. Now it's more a blunderbuss instead of a tight musket. I am really thinking about buying these U-clips. They aren't only handy for bayonets but also for a lot of other things.

I like it Matn! Especially the beach and the wreck are nice. There is also funny action going on like the hat-stealing monkey and the guy who is soo happy with his fish. I also should lower the mast a little, it looks that's almost the only piece which survived the disaster!

I choose the first minifig, with the white pants, but the face of the second one is the best.

Well thank you very much Captain Kirk! I really want to know how to make face decals. Can I use these dimensions as a template? I don't really know the dimensions and I don't want to make a face decal which doesn't fit. You're doing a great job!

I agree and agree and agree! This is a nice one Louloute! I really like the docks, house and jetty (with crane). And the idea of an ambush is pretty cool. I only don't know what the city garrison will do about this, it isn't really safe to ambush someone in a city... Oh and I really like the stairs made of jumper plates!!

YaY! A large bluecoat fortress! And it is really blue... It looks great with all the cannons and different heights. Not something where a Redcoat ship would pass by easily... I see a lot of details on it, and that's always a good thing! Now am I eager to see that lighthouse you spoke about!!

Dr. Steve, could you please post a picture with an Imperial soldier with a musket and U-clip, but with a common LEGO cutlass as bayonet? I think the cutlass is slightly shorter then the damien blade. The upcoming bayonet from Brickarms looks great but I just want to know how a common cutlass looks like. I've tried it with a hook like Martin did but I've never seen it with U-clips. Thanks in advance!

I have no experience with face decals, but I might try this one. However, the head is a tall one. I will try anyway and then you can tell me what you think about it! I'm gone tomorrow but I might have a chance to do it friday or saturday. I hope that's ok.

Hehe, I got exams tomorrow about history - napoleonic area and wars between 1600-1900 Most people don't understand anything about it, but it is my favorite theme ever! Is anyone else studying naval warfare in his spare time? Or is it just me who likes it.
