  1. Arrr! More ships to sink guys! It looks a very nice project Hound Knight. She will be well armed for a ship with 4 midsections (4 right?) I'm already fond of the bow, nice to use arches! I would change them into another colour though since it's all brown now. Hmm, I really need those new cannons to fill my next ship with... Keep it up matey, she looks great already!
  2. He's hiding on the pirate's tricorner...
  3. Excellent work! I like it to be on the Bluecoat banner! We all need confident leaders don't we. The Redcoat banner, privateer and pirate banner are fantastic. The letters could be somewhat better but they look good anyway!
  4. Weird clothing, it seems to be I have to take a better look at it. The cape should be finished soon! EDIT: Here it is Sir Wellington, print it on normal white paper or cloth to get a white inside. I hope you like it and use it well!
  5. 99% of my broken LEGO parts are dispatched to my bin as fast as possible. With a nice swing if possible. It seems to be you have found out something nice to do with broken LEGO. As the good captain said it exactly looks like a cactus. But it is a very nice solution if you have a shortage on plumes... You have to offer some greenery but it's still nice.
  6. I'm on it! But do you mean also the inside of the cape? Since the inside is blue with yellow decorations. The outside looks plain white to me.
  7. Are they different from normal markers? Since I've tried with common markers and after a few days the colours were fading and spreading out across my flag. I use flags from paper now (the one from my signature), you can make perfect sharp figures on the computer, and it is easy applying it to LEGO flagpoles by making small holes in it. But I shall give it a shot, thanks!
  8. I see the drawings become more close ups of the minifig instead of the whole minifig. The new ones are great as always, I knew I was experienced in drawing, but not THIS much! Each drawing is another masterpiece.
  9. No worries about that, I'm sure it will be moved soon. I really like your custom flag! How did you painted it? By me the colours leak out through the cloth, making the flag blurry. The lines are perfectly sharp, the edges are a bit tatty but that's not a big deal. I'd love to see this army expanding with drummers and more flags. Great job!
  10. Haha Well, I hope you are happy with my new signature! The ship names are a bit pale without 'HMS'. I think people don't even know it are ship names if I hadn't put 'Ships' for it. If you see a name with HMS or USS almost everyone knows you're talking about a ship. So the French really hadn't something like HMS? I think His/Her Majesty Ship fits with the Frenchies too.
  11. Ow dear, I'm in trouble! Let me explain something: I have no idea what the French had before the ship's name, HMS or something else? the H can be His or Her. Or was it just "Fourageux" without something... I think I should change the name then. About the sentences in my signature: I change them every couple of days, mostly quotations of famous persons. And I'm defenitely not a spy! I'm insulted! I'm one of the loyalst Bluecoats around here!
  12. Awesome drawings again Hound Knight! Captain Green Hair and Huntmaster are my favorites!
  13. My first reaction was: Hey that's HMS's ship! What is Béjaune doing with it? Then I saw Béjaune's title and it was all clear to me.
  14. Then check the good Admiral Béjaune's title, I think that explains a lot then.
  15. He entered an age of Darkness a couple of months ago, that means he wasn't active with LEGO for that period. Perhaps you weren't that active on the forum yet and didn't know HMS with his wonderful WIP Sang Royale. How is the ship coming along Admiral? You've made me very curious with the pictures!
  16. Yup, C for me as well. I like the smaller blade since a bayonet is more "needle" shaped instead of a sabre. I think option C fits the best with a minifig. Also Martin's idea is very clever, I use it too for my army, although I cannot find my pirate hooks...
  17. Everything is better then being a Redcoat...
  18. Those decals are creepy Captain Kirk, and very well done!
  19. I thought you were a die-hard Redcoat fan Skipper! But being a merchant is fine to me, hopefully you'll get rich so I can harvest more gold from your vessel when I meet you at sea. :pir-skull:
  20. I own this set, and it is one of my best sets ever. You won't know how many hours I've played with it. The verhicle was always my favorite verhicle, and the hot air balloon is very nice as well. I'm happy I got it. Now I look back on this set I suddenly realise again how awesome this set is. I think it's one of the best sets TLC ever released. Thanks for this wonderful nice review, great pictures too. 27 euros is really, really cheap for an amazing set like this. High playability and lots of building pleasure + some nice bricks.
  21. Nice, nice! I really like the technique for the knights legs and arms, the bow is brilliant yet so simple. I feel sad for the "yellowish" man. Keep it up!
  22. Thanks all for your kind words, I really appreciate it. I don't know how many people visit the MCW so I thought it might be handy for guys in the History and Adventure forum.
  23. Looking good! I think this combination will turn out very good. If you're interested in decals then take a look in the Pirate Torso Library. There are hundreds of torso's free to use, although if credit to the maker is given. Hope that might help you with your decal making and good luck with 'em!
  24. Awesome! I think those are Austrian forces if I take a look at the wonderful flags. Why are the guys in the middle carrying yellow goblets and other things? Are they spyglasses or holy artifacts? It's very detailed! Thanks for pointing this out, I will have a look at his creations.
  25. Great find Woody! The torso decals are nice but the paintings/decals on the shako's are amazing! The cannon is somewhat too big for an 8 pounder though, it looks like a 24 now. I think it's quite big compared to the minifigs. But it looks cool anyway! Thanks for sharing! Great find Woody! The torso decals are nice but the paintings/decals on the shako's are amazing!
