LIBRARY: Pirate Torso/Decal/Sticker Designs
Captain Blackmoor replied to Bonaparte's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I've made this decal for a request in the decal wish list but I thought it would fit in the Pirate torso library as well. Russian Admiral EDIT: I was in the mood making decals! There were no requests I was able to do so I decided to make some for the Pirate Torso Library. Spanish Admiral -
I agree with all the above, for so far I know other materials then LEGO are only used for custom torso's, ropes, sails and flags. I'd love to see your pictures, it sounds like a great idea. I'm curious how you are going to connect it with LEGO.

No worries about that Clone Killer, they look excellent. Although I hope this isn't going to happen too much in the future, since I've spend already some time on Commander Flash's request. I think it is handy to make a seperate (pinned) thread for decal makers with all the current requests listed so we can see where everyone is working on, avoiding two people are working on the same request. I've spoken to LuxorV already about that but I have no answer yet. I know he has a very busy life. EDIT: Sir Wellington's request: Russian Admiral I've found a picture in one of my books. This uniform is from 1733. Hope you like it!

So, your dark ages are over! Glad to have you back in the French fleet admiral! I like your comeback with a personal cannon, which is also green. Good work on the small MOCs too. So how is the Sang Royale coming along? It looks quite finished on your photos. Also with a fantastic rigging. I'm glad you're on our side Admiral! Together we'll crush the Redcoat fleet!

I can take this one, but I have no experience with leg decals. I shall see what I can do! But I am totally not active in the Star Wars world so, what means twi'lek for example? A picture would be very helpful for me since I only know (Princess) Leia is probably a female.

I'd better keep that in mind when posting pictures of my nearly-finished Formidable... Thanks for pointing that out Captain. There were, there are, and there will be always nasty people on this world.

New Color from BrickForge
Captain Blackmoor replied to Hound Knight's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I don't really get that... Nice colours again! I doubt if they are useful for pirate themed things but for other themes they can be quite useful. Thanks for sharing! -
Micro Brick War - MBW
Captain Blackmoor replied to hopeso009's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This looks like a very interesting game to try out with some friends. I think I can bring the pirate theme in it since that's my favorite theme after all. The rules are easy to understand and there's been well thought about it. I think this is quite a cool strategy game! -
Zombie Hunter Preview
Captain Blackmoor replied to Jasbrick's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice Jasbrick! I like the spook on his shirt. It reminds me on the game Left 4 Dead, I don't own it though. -
Are you going to paint them into black? I'm not sure if that is a good idea since you need the right kind of dye and in the colour which matches LEGO black. But you can try of course. I think brown bases with the new gunmetal cannons are the best combination.

This is a nice one! It has the nice shape of a Galleon, and it is very well armed! The colours from the BSB are always nice to see, although the stern is almost exactly the same as the BSB. I also like your custom sails and flags!

Oriental Head decals - Update at 15 july.
Captain Blackmoor replied to Capt. Kirk's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice head decals again Capt. Kirk! I like those with the scratches on the face a lot. No doubt I will use a few Oriental heads in the future! I think they go well with pirates since they look rough. -
I've spotted your Shipwreck Island!! The creation on picture 7 of Legotrainfan's post is a WIP I have seen before here. He made a video about it.
-
Thanks for sharing this Legotrainfan! This is a huge masterpiece! For so far I know I haven't seen it here before, but I can make mistakes. I love all that ships in there, the coastal buildings look great too, especially the large building at the back looks great from here. I also think this collection costs a pretty sum of money, but I also see a large team behind the table who has worked together making this MOC. Thanks for pointing this out Legotrainfan!

Vintage Minifig V3 contains a BLUECOAT!
Captain Blackmoor replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in LEGO Pirates
Hehe, Erdy indeed. I like that Bluecoat in there! Thanks for pointing this out! -
That looks really odd indeed, but it has something nice too. I'd prefer the yellow trunk in brown. What is the coconut brick?
-
Nice, nice! I see the Brickarms weapons fit very well with the new and old pirates! You have already a nice army there, I like both armies a lot. Thanks for sharing!
-
Awesome work again Hound Knight! They look very good, especially Lord Bane looks great in green. Oh and about Armendariz, floating in his barrel hiding for the many people who are looking for him. I still have not found him! His drawing looks great too.

ultima siege engines collection
Captain Blackmoor replied to medieval_total_lego's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Those are very beautiful Medieval Total Lego! I love them! I really like the trebuchet and the battering ram. The ballistas are very neat as well. The burning wagons are cool. I don't want to be in a castle now... -
I've made this shield for EB Member Gogobig and I thought you guys like it too! Here it is: Tell me what you think! edit: never meddle with pictures in the brickshelf folder! The picture is back again
-
Sorry for the delay yesterday Gogobig, but I've made your Troll/Orc shield! Here it is: I hope you like it and I hope you will use it a lot.

I got my inspiration from listening to Nightwish and watching movies like Master and Commander, Hornblower and Pirates of the Caribbean. Captain Green Hair's ships are a huge source of inspiration for details on the ship. Bonaparte's ship too. Sleeping does a great job too, last time I woke up and I suddenly had a magnificient idea.
-
I think it would be cooler if you keep the secret a secret, and let people guess! Let people try to design a tumblehome as well. Although it's still your secret of course and you may decide what to do with it!

The Big Toy Hut's Zombie
Captain Blackmoor replied to Matn's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I really like the custom torso and face Matn! You should check out Capt. Kirk's zombie decals too if you like zombie decals. Keep it up Matn! -
The Formidable only needs her ratlines, then it's finished. Meanwhile I've started working on the Fourageux, which I try to finish faster. There is not really a start date for the Le Formidable, the ship started with 2 midsections 3 years ago and I've expanded it and expanded it... I'm looking forward to your next fortress Martin! This one already looks great. I agree with Captain Green Hair though about the blue, it looks very playfull but not really realistic in my opinion. But that can also just be a matter of a person's taste.
