And even if you would be able to get to them, expect mostly one-sided communication. Problem is that, even if you had very good idea, they would most likely not be able to use it, mainly because then they would have to pay you for that idea. I myself know several people at TLG and I even personally know LEGO designer, but subjects about future designs, new themes and product are off-limits. Molds are destroyed, but new ones could be made, if there would be interest. Problem is that TLG will not do that, because it would took too much of its valuable "active elements" list. With friends, movie sets, Chima and all other money making stuff requesting new and new elements, there just isnt enough space left for such niche products. Monorail would sell good among AFOLS (and maybe not even among them), but would not be very popular among LEGO general public because of high price and the fact that monorail is just not that recognizable as regular train (80s with promises of monorail being future of transportation was different).

Thats strange. I got 45544 directly from importer last week and it had rechargeable battery inside. But its obvious that it has problems, because it was not powerful enough to properly drive gyro boy (other models are not that sensible). OK, it worked, but results were much better with regular 9v batteries. peter_m: i would not worry too much: I also bouth 8043 (excavator) second hand and when they had problems with linear actuators, i just filled out complaint form on lego.com an got new ones in few days. I dont know if its different with education sets, but it would be very hard to track customers who bought sets in regular store (no one lefts his adress at TRU or other shop). Red gear is supposed to stay as spare. Outrigger vertical movement is most problematic function in 42009. You probably did not leave enoug slack on wheel. You could try and "help" with turning proper axles with hand to see if it got stuck somewhere.

In short: it can take more current. It was introduced woth 9398 4x4 crawler, which needed two large (L) motors on one channel. Only outside difference is "v2" printed on front.

What if TLG is making their own technic porsche? VW and Porsche are basicly the same company (one owned by another) and we know that TLG cooperates nicely with VW (both campers, beetle...)

I will probably buy large white technic plane next. I saw 1h sets and they are no good and I really hope that 2h will be better.

This is really bad. I would not that if those were some cheap clone bricks, but lego is charging very premium price and bricks should be perfect. Ok, I can live with slightly different colours or some barely visible molding marks, but this way over that. I will report this to CEE team.

Now, I dont know complete history here, but regarding his todays work and position, would it be possible to rethink his ban? Hee seems serious enough to me, but as I said, I dont know complete story behind it (neither I request that someone explains it to me).
