  1. I had to force myself not to pick anything from Grogall's impressive sale/trade list. @Rolli: train shed 10027 would go nicely with EN ;)
  2. You can leave mine 60025. I am not to keen on it anyway.
  3. We surely do plan to do some "networking" on first evening (I can of course just talk for myself, but I think that I will not be only one thirsty)
  4. Friend of mine makes nice living with it (in additon to his rather low regular salary), but it takes a lot of work and patience. For example: 10193 - MMV. he bought several just shotly before it was out two years, but it stayed on shelves at least two additional years and even now prices are not that high. Many predicted that this set will be much wanted, but its not, so for now its just bad investment. Similar is with some other sets (firebrigade for example), while others really gain high price fast. Best way is to buy exclusive set in bulk from bricklink ro E-bay resellers (you could get 10-20% discount that way) and sit on them as long as possible.
  5. Where? We will go to munich on friday and could pick some up. And maybe they have some other sets too? Do you know any current good sales in Munich?
  6. I always leave assembled flagships sets and in some cases "middle" sets (those with prices around 80-100 euro. Currently I have assebmled:8880 Supercar , 8480 Sapce Shuttle,8466 Extreme offroader,8455, 8285 Tow Truck, 8274 Combine harvester, 8275 Bulldozer, 8258 Crane truck, 8043 Excavator, 8110 Unmog and 9398 Crawler. All of those are grat sets and i use them regulary at exhibitions, but they do take a lot of space. Out of middle/small set, which did make it to stay assembled are: all three recent motorbikes (8291 Motorcycle, 2x8051 motorcycle and 9392 Quad bike and 8262 quad bike) and some special sets, which rarely occur: 8722 Snowmobile, 8274 Combine Harvester, 8263 Snow Groomer, 8047 Compact excavator, 9394 jet plane, 8068 Rescue helicopter and 9396 Helicopter, 8109 Flatbed truck and 42000 GP racer Notable set I used just for parts are: 8295 Telehandler, 8297 offroader, 8049 tractor with log loader, 8052 Container truck.
  7. No need too. I was just with redhead1982, and she told me that if the party will get too wild she will take keys from me and go driving around, so I suggested she go and pick calanon on station ;)
  8. I will drink anything, as long as its beer. ;)
  9. Eh, my mistake. I mixed it all up. Nevermind. ;)
  10. As Redhead1982 said: we will leave Ljubljana at around 4 pm an then it depends on the traffic. We could go earlier, but then I would have to make special arrnagments at work and. I had already stayed at that gasthof, so I know the way and I also know that it has nice "bierstube" in the backyard, so I expect to find at least some eventees there (together with the owner, which is more there then at the reception). :)
  11. Dfenz: please also get me four light bricks, so we will be at 30 euro. Thnxs!
  12. I converted 8455 to take air from 8110s PTO. It works really fine and you can finally operate pneumatics properly.
  13. 99,99 euro
  14. Holodoc:thnx, but I will leave it to Scubacarrot. In between I ordered somthing from other members and I close to reaching my budget for shopping. Wits so many small agreements, everything is h+gettin a little confusing. Should we rearange first post with list of which stuff will each member bring and for who?
  15. I'm also interested in one of those, if its still available.
  16. You could get 8868 for very reasonble price (even as low as 40-50euro) on ebay.de. One was selling at our LUG exhibition for 90 and did not get sold. Building experianece is very good on this set, but I could understand that som people wil find it oudated. 8455 on the other side is modern build (even if its 10 year old) but prices are higher. 8110 is of course best choice, but price is high even with discounts.
  17. Reserve on ghost for me too. Anybody interested in may the 4th Han Solo? I also have MISB 8297 Extreme Offroader II if anyone is interested.
  18. Anybody knows how much in advance you have to buy ticket? I think I saw somehere that it should be 7 days in advance, but I dont know if its just for tickets with fixed date. It would suit me if I could do it after june 1st.
  19. Yeah. Last week we were on dinner with Jan Beyer and we gave him this icecream to taste, but he wasnt impressed. :)
  20. It surely is.
  21. I believe that correct set number is 30201. Would you be interested in trade? I have some S1/S2 minifigures, but I have to check which (I know that I have spartan, Cheerlader etc...)
  22. That's not true. This set was available for at least two years if not more. There were rumors that it would retire and availabilty was low very soon after its release, but the it got re-stocked and had normal availabilty cycle. I know that because I also heard that its supposedly gone and purchased it on Bricklink, but then it got back to stores and it stayed there for at least a year (I remembered it so well because it was may first post-dark times set and I also remebered that I purchased it during 2008 summer Olympics). Ok, back to topic: I saw Weathertop in good quantities at Lego brand store about one week ago, so its not yet retired. In my opinion sets which have limited availability (weathertop was nowwhere to be seen at "normal" shops) tend to be retired earlier. Same is with Police mobile comman, Zombies set and others.
  23. Truck has small pneumatic cylinder. Designer is Suzanne :) lso, no new, longer LA-s on crane
