    I for one will be grabbing an advent calendar! A tradition of sorts for me, and the figs are fairly useful, especially that astromech!

    As people have said, I would focus less on the minifigs to start- get a few, but expensive accessories are just a money sink. By all means, for characters, but for regular grunts not so much. Focus on bricks, and smaller MOCs to start. Lots of minifigs is redundant of you don't have enough bricks.
