  1. It seems that I have also encountered this problem. I get the same "Runtime Error" message. It is weird, because Lpub has handled bigger models (on the same project settings) with no problem earlier. And it handled almost all steps from the assembly, it started crashing after whole model began to show on the steps. Is there a way to fix it?
  2. It depends on particular model. For example, TGS cab was built in odd width: Some parts of the cab are built in even width, by using bottom tubes on the plates: Sometimes I use thin liftarms to create odd-to-even connections.
  3. Almost done. Except pneumatic tubbing and a string. I hope that instructions will be finished under two weeks from now. Keep fingers crossed.
  4. You could use 56145/15413 wheels and tires like I did:
  5. The CAD file is almost done. It is missing inner part of the boom, cab on the superstructure, counterweight and few other elements. I have some major problems with pneumatic cylinders and clamshell parts, becuase my MLCad does not see them in the folders. But I am working on it...
  6. Are you going to upload a video? I am curious how it works.
  7. OK... so where's the towing equipment? You know, winch, maybe a crane?
  8. 10 pages so far, probably few more are coming. It is nice to see that in two days all flaws of the set were fixed. It is also interesting where this modding will end, because (thanks to your effort guys) at some point this set will have only two things in common with final modded version: name and colour :)
  9. Yes, but I had some other things to do lately. It will be finished, but I can not specify when exactly. Current status: Most of the mechanisms of the superstructure are done, only thing left to do is the boom and covering those gears.
  10. It has four wheels, suspension and a gearbox. Sounds like 8880/8448/8466. For me most advanced set(s) were Arocs and Volvo loader.
  11. I had similiar problem when I was building my Iveco and I have found this solution: Worked great. Maybe try something similiar?
  12. I really like it. Lifting mechanism have some problems with lifting the bed?
  13. Well, so far I see my model: http://www.technicdi...e=37&modell=283 With complete description, dimensions, and basically anything that could be written about this model. Except information about who made it. Know what? For someone who does not know LEGO builders at first (and second, and third) look your site looks like list of your own creations. Is it really that hard to write who made those models?
  14. Like having videos played by your own player, making finding their authors harder? I really adore all those descriptions, so many letters, but it seems that between those bugs there's not enough space for nicknames of MOC creators...
  15. Yes, it was a quick sketch made in LDD. Gear setup is simple, but frame that holds them in place is a little complicated, due to restricted pile of parts of single set :)
  16. Interesting. You have almost 70 custom MOCs listed on your site. Without ANY info about its creators. Why?
  17. They are slowly coming to life ;) The carrier is almost done, now it's time for the the fun part - gearing inside the superstructure...
  18. It is unfinished model of refreshed 8829 Dune Blaster for LUGPol contest. It was not built from bricks, so might need some tweaks, (like adding flex tubes as a roll cage) but here's your file: http://bricksafe.com...r/misc/8829.lxf Have fun :)
  19. Both. Digital design is good when you need to determine which pieces and quantities you will need. Mechanics could be also designed virtually, but I'd reccomend to build them from bricks first, and if they work adding to your digital model. LEGO Digital Designer, MLCad. LDView for showing how it looks: Brickling mostly, sometimes auction services.
  20. I must say that it really looks nice together :)
  21. I will :) Actually, I have rebuilt the frame and back of the superstructure, so I am one step closer to presenting it, as you said, in its full glory.
  22. I was not planning to do the instructions for it, but I will give it a try :) Something like 8421, but with more motorized funtions :)
  23. Let's say that it is a random, four axle crane, something between 8421, 42009 and real cranes :) I'll make a video when it will be finished :)
