  1. One point I will add to the "Rescue was based on concept art" debate: I've seen a lineup of Endgame Hot Wheels at my Target which depicts characters as cars. Rescue has a blue car with her art clearly being blue on the box. Unless Lego does stuff way before other companies, the blue color was known. Overall mixed feelings on the set. Color aside, it is nice to get Rescue, and Hulk with the gauntlet is a great surprise, especially the new gauntlet mold. Only wish he was wearing the grey and purple suit instead. The rest falls flat for me but does give hope of other sets released alongside to fill in some gaps.
  2. This is the most exciting thing about the whole situation for me. I like Stranger Things, and if the leak is real the set looks pretty great, but I'm really looking forward to see if this opens the gates on some "adult" licenses.
  3. This is amazing! Instantly recognizable, and really clever use of that dome piece.
  4. Vulture looks alright, nothing too special. But that Sandman is fantastic. That's what I've wanted since Lego started making Spidey sets again.
  5. Hopefully, it's real, I need some news on this thing. I've been holding off on buying any more IW sets until I find out what the requirements for this set will be.
  6. Maybe we'll get them with a werewolf Lupin since they love giving HP so many new molds.
  7. We'll get Nick Fury again, I'd be willing to bet money on it. He's hugely popular, and it will have been four years since he was in a set, and six years since he was in a set that was somewhat affordable.
  8. That was a really interesting insight into Lego's design process, thanks for sharing!
  9. Dread it. Run from it. Free with $75 purchase still arrives.
  10. This website would absolutely explode, myself included.
  11. Or finally a bald Thanos, depending on his design in A4.
  12. Not saying that the "friend's brother who works at Lego" is a reliable source, but it wouldn't be the first time. 76108 includes Doctor Strange with the Time Stone printed on his torso and also includes the Time Stone as it's own piece.
  13. There's no way Avengers 4 won't get a full 6 set wave. Lego knows to go all out for the Avengers movies.
  14. That's a lot of Spider-Man. Hopefully it'll be similar in quality to the mech set rather than some of the USM stuff. Are there even any major villains we don't have for Spidey? All I can think of is comic-style Rhino and an all-sand Sandman. Though I'd really like to see more alternate Spideys. 2099 for sure, but Noir and Future Foundation would be sweet too.
  15. Barnes and Noble has been known for going all out with HP merch, especially in the last few years. Doesn't surprise me one bit. I wonder if the purchase restrictions will be any Lego or just the theme of the pack. The HP pack is a good excuse to finally grab their exclusive Incredibles Brickheadz.
  16. I doubt it. Lego usually doesn't acknowledge the DC direct-to-video stuff (outside of their own, of course) and given that a lot of those have been R recently, gives them even less incentive to do so. Not saying I don't want Hush, but it's unlikely. Death of Superman just came out the same time as a DC wave, yet no Doomsday or anything.
  17. Homer's head doesn't look right. I think even if they kept all the sides square but rounded the top, he would look a lot better. Newt looks fantastic (no pun intended) though. The hair is perfect.
  18. I love it! That window in particular is my favorite part of it.
  19. Where did this info come from? Sounds very interesting to me. Wouldn't be the first time either, after the Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit sets.
  20. Maybe this will be the series finale. It's gone on for 30 seasons, I think it would be a good time to wrap things up.
  21. Lego clearly wants this to be evergreen. That's why this whole first wave was from the first couple years, they know they can expand on it further down the line. With eight Harry Potter movies, two Fantastic Beasts movies plus more planned, and maybe even other film spinoffs, there's content for years and years to come.
  22. Yeah, no more Joker for a while please. I'm sick and tired of him constantly being in sets when there's still so many villains that have never been made in Lego.
  23. 99% sure this was a one-time thing. There's no way they're making one for every movie.
  24. I'm really hoping with all the focus on Teen Titans lately, with the TTG movie, the old show returning, and the new live-action show, that we finally get a comic styled Raven to complete the Titans. The TTG one is serviceable, but I know they can make a better head for her.
  25. Now that you mention it, I bet anything we'll get a Grawp done in the style of Giant-Man and Ares somewhere down the line.
