Nice little layout, love the Giant Tree! I think Friends will release a train next year, Heart Lake is growing at a quick rate and I think the town is ready for a train line/station.

I wonder what the members who marked the set as ''Poor'' in the poll actually made them come up with that decision? Its obvious that the set is not poor but I just wanted to know why the members who voted that way did so?

Yay! Can't wait to add some penguins to my zoo. I'm so glad they don't look stupid, they are big but Emperor penguins are big.

I really wish Lego City would release more animals, I can't bring myself to using many of these in my layout, I have used the turtle (as a tortoise) and the hedgehog (as an echidna) but that's it so far. I'm really curious to see what next series Orangutan looks you. BTW Its spring here where I live, Its always spring somewhere, Lego might be made in Europe but its sold worldwide.

That is a small green tree snake enclosure on top of the Bear and Wolf viewing platform. The Wolf pen will have another row of windows yet and black grills over the top. I need lots more 6x5 clear panels, I think I have bought every one on Australian Brinklink.

I started to set up my zoo last night, here are a few progress pics. Most of the enclosures have more work to be done and I still need to add more tress, gardens and other details. The back part where the camel is has not been done at all yet, the area will have the elephant and camel yards, the ostriches will be up near the front right hand corner, I need to get another Polar bear, brown bear and I have another white Warg coming in a set soon which are actually meant to be a pair of Mega White Wolves (a species that are only found in Lego land) The turtles are now tortoises and the hedgehogs are Australian echidna's. Baby Chimp nursery, still needs some work on the inside. Monkeys...WIP Mega White Wolf Paradise Cafe, 1 of 2 cafe's at the zoo. (not sure about the shark on the roof yet?)

I honestly don't know why Lego City hasn't made a zoo, It would be a hit and could carry on for years with so many different enclosure sets and mini builds. Anyway I have built my own which will do for now.

Cool little scene, the dog is so cute I have 2 but want a few more, its pretty obvious the blue stud is a ball. Summer is just starting in some places, We just entered Spring here in OZ.

Thanks Dutch guy & Timmy. The dentist office doesn't have a interior yet, I probably wont build one either, I'm always trying to conserve bricks. I have a bit more of the zoo done too, I need to set it up and take some more pics.

Ugly green car Caravan Mod Another Dive boat, Jacque's Bay will have a reef just offshore, I may make a lower level (underwater) scene with divers. sharks, rays etc.

Small beach house I have always liked the Blue beach house from last year, I might buy another one. The green house has since been finished and to my surprise I found another house next to it (sometimes I get drunk and make things I dont remember) I will get new pics of all 4 soon.

Frog enclosure & Croc pen, Jacque's Bay (my city) has a zoo, it is the main attraction for this small seaside city. I have finished about 8 enclosures but I have not put the zoo together yet. The tortise pen has been moved since this pic was taken. Here i have taken the front windows out so you can see inside better, I have since added more green frogs. I still need to make a green tree frog sign for the front. Polar bear enclosure, need to add another bear, the back part has since been finished. Viewing windows on 3 sides. You can see in this shot the back has been finished, It sits next to 'Scorpion Cafe' which has a scorpion pit out front.

^^ Thanks everyone, here is another modern style house, its not great but i will keep it anyway as I will need lots of homes for my city. And another..... The trees and details will all be improved, they are just there for the photos. I need to buy lots more tree parts. Lighthouse Island Small truck, (pig shooting truck)

Hi everyone, I'm beginning to start building my City layout soon, here are a few Mod's and Moc's that I have built recently. Stacy's dream house This is the Apple Tree House, just made it a little longer and used brick colours that I had a lot of. Ice Cream Truck Dentist Office & small town house, The dentist lives above his office. I still need to make a sticker sign for the front. A fishing boat, My layout will be heavily beach/ocean orientated. Butters Bakery, Monet's Dance Studio & City Apartment. The Bakery is a Mod from the Winter Village Bakery. The Yellow building is just an abandoned shop, a train line runs along this side of the buildings. Dancing on the rooftop, still need to add a few more details, bench with music system/speakers etc.

I hope ''mission at the beach'' set includes a couple of beached whales, that would be so Awesome to get Lego whales.

Great work, your town looks very exciting and busy, I would love to be shrunk down to explore.
