Heroica RPG - Quest #146: Red is the Bloodiest Color
Dragonfire replied to KotZ's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Well... it was kind of a joint decision, if you know what I mean..." Avalanche breaks off as they approach the mayor and his wife, "It went well, thanks. We managed to put all of your posters up, Mistress Lacy, and then we had a good training session with the militia - but we had to rescue them from some demonic plants first, you should really get that forest checked out!" -

Avalanche smiles somewhat gratefully at Traci, "We tried putting bones and potions on the plate... looks like that was a bad idea. Thanks." He adds, "Let's find Lacy and claim whatever reward she has in store." -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Dragonfire replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Go for the Final Duel - the set is more movie-accurate and you get more for the price; besides as others have said, Finn, Kylo and the FO stormies will probably make lots of future appearances in cheaper sets. And it's from last year, so will be retiring earlier. -
[BH - Rodian] You Can't Run Forever
Dragonfire replied to Dragonfire's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Thanks There are actually two other different Duros faces from various versions of the Cad Bane minifigure, but they're not very readily available any more. -
I got tons of those three types of piece in the lower right corner of your photo Good selection - surprised you didn't pick up any plant pieces!

"Don't worry, I can't either...." Avalanche trails off, wondering how on earth these Tridentians are able to speak the language of horses. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #146: Red is the Bloodiest Color
Dragonfire replied to KotZ's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Maybe we should carry on with the task Lacy set us," Avalanche suggests, then has another idea, "Traci and Jackson, how much do you know about the Shrine of Ennoc here? How would one... put a poster up on its walls?" -

Avalanche nods his agreement, "Defense is definitely your target. Jackson, how about you put this on?" He hands Jackson his spare Heavy Armour (SP:5), "You can keep it until we're done with those bandits." -
Nice build, and I love the MANTIS colour scheme for this week

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Conclusion
Dragonfire replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You didn't ask me, you just contacted me because DD was suspicious of me in-thread. Too bad she didn't know that Tariq was a jailkeeper, then CC and I would be alive. -
Reporting back from the Glasgow Lego Store - the PaM pieces were treated as general PaB pieces. I got tons of the 1x1 round tiles, the trans-orange cheese slopes and the two types of plant pieces. As for BaM, they had some pretty interesting parts too. Red hoods, diving helmets, Series 4 werewolf hair with ears, Loki sceptres and large fire pieces.

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Conclusion
Dragonfire replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Re: PM-less games, DD's Scooby game had no PMs and def and I as scum totally took advantage of that - that was a main reason for our victory. No PMs cripples the town IMO. Also DD, fun fact, this is the second time that you've killed town-me on N3... -
SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Conclusion
Dragonfire replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for the game, it was great! Darkdragon, I'm still not sure why you killed me simply because I was blocked on N1, when there were multiple explanations for the scum's kill failing... And the scum situation reminds me of Ragnarok 3, which unlike this game dragged on for days with a lone scum failing to recruit again and again... -
I will be on Monday hopefully, if not then then some time next week!

Looks... more promising than the one yesterday :P BTW, Octan's home planet is Farmolis.

[AoM Barracks Phase II] The First Trial
Dragonfire replied to Dragonfire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thanks, both of you. Gideon, I don't particularly want everyone seeing my photos on Flickr, I just use it to host my photos so that I can post them here. -
I read this, made plans for getting some lavender bricks off PaB walls and then realised what day it was. Good job though, you certainly fooled some people. (More plausible than the Korean announcement as well)

Avalanche attacks Traci from the front row. -
Please transfer 43 credits to EpsilonEta.

Oh, you will see him again, he's going to be rebuilt in my next build ;) Thanks! Thanks Thank you. Thanks, especially for the constructive criticism. I know my photography is suboptimal and I appreciate advice on how to improve it.

Heroica RPG - Quest #146: Red is the Bloodiest Color

I've already submitted my action to revive Calamity with a Phoenix Essence on this round... -
Nice ship I like the side-engine and attached missile, and the cockpit especially.

Heroica RPG - Quest #146: Red is the Bloodiest Color
Dragonfire replied to KotZ's topic in The Heroica Archive
OOC: I'll be going away for a week starting tomorrow, with limited internet access. I'll be online from time to time, but not very often. If the battle continues, Avalanche will attack Traci from the front row until she is defeated, in which case he will attack a random enemy. If he loses half health, he will drink a potion. Chosen Minifigure can control his actions. -
Thanks I actually based my design on the speeder from the resistance battle pack - I took the set apart, found some bricks in more Kawashitan colours, and then rebuilt it my way. The large grey piece at the front, the trans-orange cylinders and the engines are the only things that still look similar IMO. And as for the robot, he'll be turning up in quite a few more builds as my characters try and figure out where he came from.

Location: B08 Greater Direstan Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 25 ~ That basic speeder from last week was a little too .... basic, and I was suitably pleased when I was assigned an upgrade: the Anomalocaris light recon speeder. It was meant to bear some resemblance to some prehistoric sea creature from billions of years ago, but I really didn't care. It was sleek, fast and well-equipped to navigate the terrain of Greater Direstan. Anyway, this was when I found it. As I skimmed along a grassy clifftop permeated by caves, I saw a glint of brighter, sharper, artificial green in the grass, and slowed to a halt. To my surprise, the shattered, tarnished remains of a robot became visible, lying in pieces half-under some vegetation. The bright green eyes flickered and focused, and one of the robot's hands was raised a few centimetres, in a gesture that obviously meant Help me. Within an hour, I had it loaded onto my speeder and was heading back to base, wondering where it came from (it wasn't either an Octan, MANTIS or Kawashita make) and how it had come to be in such a pitiful state. I needed answers... Without speeder: The Anomalocaris (google it if you've never heard the name ) [C&C welcome.]
