  1. I like the American Muscle and Ferrari engines. The guy is great artist, that's for sure. Makes you look at Technic in a whole new way.
  2. It is amazing what that guy does with just technic parts.
  3. I am drooling just looking at those pics. It is a tough choice really. I also wouldn't mind seeing a classic Lamborghini like a Diablo or a Countach. I did build Crowkiller's Gallardo Model which is just about as good as a real set and hope that his Murcielago has instructions someday, but I really want to see what the Technic designers at Lego can give us. They have to be working on something special. I would also like to see a minifig timeline set with maybe 4 or 5 Lamborhginis from the past 25 years. And if we get a new set from TLC, then we will get some new wheels as well.
  4. It's been 2 years since the announcement that Lego had the Lamborghini License and there have only been 2 sets??? I just don't get it. Every other License that Lego had featured muliple sets. I was very excited that we would be seeing some cool Lamborghini stuff, but after 2 years I am pretty dissapointed.
  5. I am actually surprised that there hasn't been one yet, seeing as how there have been 4 Technic/Racer models released under the Ferrari name. So far the only models are 2 block built Gallardo Cars. Not even any minifig scale models either. IMO it seems like a waste of a License. I hope Lego makes good use of the Lamborghini name in the near future.
  6. That is pretty good. I would like to see some other sets done like this. I did see pictures of the 853 Car Chassis done studless. That was really cool.
  7. I met Paul at a train/toy show a few years ago in Monroeville Pennsylvania. He is a really funny guy and his technic stuff is unreal. I never met his wife though. I am going to have to make plans to hit that show next year. It sounds like a blast.
  8. I contacted CV Vacuum Platers yesterday about getting some wheels chromed and they want $15 each! I think I'll be ordering them from chromebricks instead.
  9. I agree that plotter is very genius, but it depends on what you consider The Best. Functions, looks, or playability. Everyone is going to have a different opinion. Right now I would have to say that is the most impressive thing that I have ever seen done with Lego Technic/Mindstorms
  10. It's really hard to classify that as technic. More like a sculpture.
  11. Thanks for the link for the pictures Eric. I see his model was nominated for Best Earth Craft. I am assuming that it won?
  12. 3.78 Euro or $4.62 per chrome wheel is a very good deal. To be honest, it almost seems too good.
  13. LOL, no one can flame you for your opinion , you are absolutely correct. I think the basic chrome looks good, but the gold is just a little too much. But you can't deny that the The black chrome looks awesome. I had really never seen black chrome before. I heard of it, just never seen it. IMO it would be different if they were just painted out of your own basement, but having them professionally chromed to where they won't scratch or chip is different. I would really like to see them up close to see the quality. I wonder how much that costs to do? I also agree with Paul sticking to actual Lego parts, when I see models where people are using non Lego wheels and other parts, it just kind of turns me off of that project. I also don't have any issues that Paul painted the front panels yellow because he knew that the yellow ones were coming out. I suppose he could have painted the panels on that black Gallardo as well, but instead he went the right route and just substituted the best he could.
  14. Paul has the Gallardo Instructions for download at his site
  15. I love the construction stuff, but I am getting sick of cranes, backhoes, and bulldozers. That Hexapod thing looks interesting.
  16. Just got an email back from Paul. He said after Brickworld he will be taking pictures of the assembly process.
  17. I am not a fan of painting parts, but since they do come out next month and he is replacing them with the proper ones, I guess this temporary substitution won't hurt anything.
  18. Actually Blackbird did the instructions for the last model, but hopefully Paul will get some more pictures up of the building process so it can be replicated at no cost. I agree with you that this is a must get model. I wonder where he got the panels for the hood? Don't they come out in the new sets later this year?
  19. I hope that he posts some more pictures of the building process like he did with the other car. There are some very strange angles on this new car that I have no clue how he did. I also like the tail lights as well. I see he had to break down and use studded parts for the clear parts
  20. Yes, we are way overdue for a great new Flagship Technic supercar. I wouldn't mind seeing something in white for a change.
  21. Nice response after the guy that used the pictures already made a public apology yesterday and deleted them. You guys are worried about pictures of actual sets when people use other builder's designs on a daily basis and pass them off as their own without giving credit to the original designer. Some of you are browsing and posting on this very forum.
  22. On a side note, it's not like brickshelf has e-mail addresses available for people to "ask" others if they can use their pictures.
  23. What exactly did he "steal"? Those all look like actual sets to me. Is there a MOC in one of them that he is passing off as his own model? Or do you mean that the photos were actually yours and he is using them for his wishlist? I would say that he is "Borrowing" them. This is pretty fussy over nothing.
