  1. I can tell you from experience that you need many of the new parts from the 8258 crane truck and 8145 and 8653 sets. There is a full parts list included in the instructions on the last page. I built mine from looking at the pictures that were first posted last year and it cost me around $250 to $300 to order all of the parts. It is a great model that he left open for much modification.
  2. I was just at crowkillers site and noticed that he has the Instructions up for download (For Free). Just figured that I would give everyone a heads up. Here is the link. -Juan
  3. Here is a technic weiner dog that also features "pooping" action.
  4. That Camaro is awesome. The robot looks a little funky though, but still awesome.
  5. You just can't go wrong with chrome wheels. Crowkillers was the first guy that I had ever seen get wheels chromed. I would love to see TLC release a new car with chromed wheels.
  6. What about www.chromebricks.com? What do you guys think about chroming/gold plating bricks and wheels? this is much more durable than painting. I really like the chrome wheels on cars.
  7. If you already own the 8297, there is no need to "Recreate" that thing.
  8. This is the Best wall-e model ever created (Non Technic) http://www.brothers-brick.com/2008/06/26/p...-yet-interview/ Of course it was build by one of the animators from Pixar.
  9. Sheepo's car is awesome and packed with features. The body seems a just a little large for the wheels (wheelbase), but in order to pack everything into that, he did a great job.
  10. It ok. I have seen similar linked transmissions used in many models, but I have yet to see it actuallly work properly. It seems to me that pieces would pull apart or move on the axles.
  11. Great Model. I found this idea from another builder on brickshelf. You should maybe try this as it will prevent any "Play" with the steering wheel on the remote. This is what I use for my remote models and it works great. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=392586
  12. When I first seen this, I thought the Arvo brothers designed it. It is a really cool MOC. Hey Anio, to each his own.
  13. Not sure what he means by largest technic car. There are plenty of larger technic cars on the MOC pages. This is a decent model.
  14. I have my built sets stored in rubbermaid containers with lids. I don't understand what you mean by storing them is bad. Maybe "Not Properly" storing them is bad.
  15. Eric, did you see the black Gallardo that Paul did? http://www.crowkillers.com/id10.html I already have one in red and would love to do another one like this, but some of those pieces are tough to get.
  16. I am not saying that they would be selling them for a High price like this, but at a price rannge that would coincide with sets similar in scale and part count. I don't have a clue how many Paul has sold, but every week I see another one going off for hundreds of dollars. Now the question is, how many could Paul sell if this was a $150 set? Because realistically that is all this is. And more so, if this set was a different color?
  17. Paul has been selling Gallardo kits on Ebay for $350-$500 each. It blows my mind that someone from Lego wouldn't be interested in his model to market it and make money off of it. And another question that I have, is this even Legal? I would hate to see a fellow AFOL get into any trouble over this.
  18. I am going to have to respectfully disagree with you here. There are plenty of amazing technic models out there that rival anything that the designers from lego have done. I can rattle off some recent Lego Technic/Racer models that I have said to myself "Now why would they do this?"
  19. Oh yeah, a 4,000 piece model would definitely cost Over $500.
  20. Why don't you just e-mail crowkillers? He has been selling full kits.
  21. And that is only because you had to buy parts from many different Lego dealers correct? Now if all of these parts came directly from the Lego Parts Factory, I see no reason why either one of these would cost more than the 8258 crane set.
