  1. Yes, The Nitro Muscle's wheels do fit 2 different tire types, and actually the 8880 tires fit that wheel too.
  2. Ever since Lego went the cheaper route with packing all of the parts into a the box, I can't tell you how many times I haved got opened my sets to find the Stickers all bent and creased with the some of the stickers already starting to peel. Would it not make more sense to have them placed into the instruction booklet to help prevent this? I finally ordered the 8297 set from Lego shop at home and the sticker sheet had folds all through it and was basically ruined.
  3. I am not even talking about using "Force" on the pieces. I have some models with just a red bushing over and axle and you can see it is cracked right across the middle, I replaced it and the new one is crcked now too. I have also noticed cracking in these red pieces: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=3713 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=44 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=6536 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=32039 The pieces just don't have the same "Feel" as the common black parts. The plastic just seems weaker.
  4. I am sure many of you have noticed this problem with the small red technic parts, they all seem to crack at some point. Any thoughts?
  5. There was no need to combine this new problem with brickshelf with something that happened a year and a half ago. Whoever did thid was a fool. Why should someone have to read through 3 pages to get to this current problem.
  6. I thought that it was kid of silly that you had to cut the Ribbed tubing in half with scissors. They could not just give you 2 pieces? :pir-skull:
  7. Funny you brought up about the saw blades, I e-mailed Crow a couple of days ago about that because I thought they should be opposite too, and he said that he originally was going to do that, but the blade only had texture on one side and the other side was flat and they just did now look right. I guess I can see his reasoning behind that. It would have been cool to do away with all of the blue pegs, I agree. They do look bad.
  8. What's even more impressive is the fact that this is actually a "Super-Car" with full suspension, transmission, steering, ect... I have been studying some of these pics and I am impressed with how crowkillers utilized some of the pieces. When you look at a piece sometimes you can see 4 or 5 uses for it. He manages to find 30! He made some cool tailights too that just seem to fit into those bent liftarms. I wonder if this was planned, or by accident. What are those pieces that he used for the transmission plate here? The ones in between that separate the shift points. Are they crankshaft pieces? I can't figure out how he did this. I want to build a small transmission studless like this.
  9. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but shouldn't stuff like this be in it's own forum? Like the strange stories and such? I mean this stuff has nothing to do with building. When I mean it's own forum, I mean like a storyboard/Fantasy forum. I know this site is basically all about minifigs and bionacle things, but this sub-forum needs sorted out, it is a mess with topics that are not even about building. And is that blue/yellow Robot thing saying Go nigga? That is what it looks like.
  10. I am a huge Fan of his work and this one may be his best yet. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=367574 I Love the Skull and he made nice use of those flames. Good Job Crowman.
  11. I think if someone thinks their creation is good enough to post pictures, then they should be ready for any comments, negetive or positive. So on this site if someone posts pics of a red brick and a blue brick snapped together and says "Check out my new bulldozer" then everyone is supposed to give good comments about it? That is nonsense. And besides this should not even be in this forum, it does not contain one technic or bionacle part. And is that clay???
  12. I got this set last week from Toy-R-Us online for 29.99(Yes they made a mistake when they started selling them, it should have been 39.99) It would have been nice if they used a new differential box in the rear rather than just one wheel driving the engine. The other wheel is a dummy even though it looks like it is connected. This model does look great though, but a few added pieces could have made even better. I also do not like that the engine moves when the rear suspension moves. Also, the B-Model of this set is terrible. The rear steering barely turns to the point of being a joke. There is much potential here for a great alternate set, but we did not get it.
  13. Nathanael's new car is Really Awesome. Crowkiller's new Concept is equally as good. I also think that the Crowman got some pretty slick features that he pulled off with it. The design also looks simple and I could see this one easily being a set. You gotta love that transmission design and I am still blown away by the Dash switch. It was cool that Kuipers and Crow built similar models at the same time. I also love the suspension on this model. Those one piece removable bodies are a REALLY neat idea. I think he may be on to something. This model by Kuipers is probably my favorite of his Man when it comes to cars and design, these guys are at the top. I can't say one is better than the other. Did you see Crow sold that Yellow Camaro for over a 1000.00 dollars last week?
  14. El Caracho's models are incredible, but they really are not "Technic" More like Model Team... Super Model Team!
  15. Take your pick of any one of Crowkillers amazing cars. Everyone with a unique suspension and gearbox different from the rest. Always coming up with fresh new ideas too. He sure keeps me inspired. That Ferrari that he did awhile back is still the most popular Technic model on Brickshelf. Just my thoughts. Also, I think Kuiper's Supercar model is better than the GT car. He built that from the same 2 sets.
  16. Wow that is really awesome, it has a retro 60's look to it. Props to the builder.
  17. Why would anyone sell this? http://cgi.ebay.com/1-of-a-Kind-Custom-Leg...%3A1%7C294%3A50 Crowkillers, are you CRAZY? The crazy thing is that I've seen this car in person at a show a few months ago. It looks even more impressive in person. Bidding isn't very high right now. Hope he doesn't lose out on this one.
  18. That MiniBike is cute. Can't wait to pick up some of these. Love the quad and the alternate model. It would be cool if there was an alternate model that you could build by combining all 5 of them.
  19. Here is a short video from youtube that shows the suspension in action(Sort of) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYQkJLH9ZgM I met the crowman in person a few months ago at a toy show and he had his Mustang on Display with a few other cars(Lets just say Crow's models were the highlight of the show) I got to play around with the Mustang a little bit, it is AWESOME! The Automatic doors are neat. Oh yeah his Camaro was there too. But not with the chromed wheels. Crowkillers is my Idol.
  20. Crowkillers kinda already beat you to this idea when he did his 67 Mustang earlier this year.. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=305058 Pretty slick if you ask me.
  21. I also agreee that Crowkillers needs a new camera Or at least better lighting/surroundings when he takes pictures.
  22. The ability to adjust the seats is also a nice touch.
  23. This may very well be the smartest design ever. Why can we not get a model from Lego Company like this??? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=344854 Even has a dash-switch to enable all-wheel-drive. Also neat design with the T-Tops. I also like the hinge system for the front and back, Props... Mad Props. I need to start building!!!
  24. Here is some eye candy. I met a guy at this show last week. He took the pics and sent them to me today. The model is very impressive. Can't wait to finally customize my own model. The Lego Co. has outdone themselves with this one. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=337852
