  1. Well, now that we are 100% certain that there will be an Ewok Village coming later in the year, I wonder what will come with it. We have a good idea of what the actual structure will be, but what minifigures will come with it? Will there be any other structures in the set apart from the Ewok Village? I hope we get some information on this sooner rather than later.
  2. 4 more to go and then I will have completed Series 9.
  3. Damn those stickers! A preview of the actual minifigures would have been nice, but I can understand why they didn't do it. Besides, I'm sure pictures will merge sooner or later (probably in May or June). As for the colour of the packets, I really love that shade of green. A lot. It's shocking IMO that LEGO didn't give us a regular green series earlier. But, now that they have finally done so, the colour does not disappoint. WE WANT PICTURES OF THE MINIFIGURES!!!!!!!!
  4. That's strange, but I don't mind at all. After all, the Extremis Sea Port Battle is the set I want to get most of these Iron Man 3 sets. It can only be a matter of time before the other two show up.
  5. Just watched The Incredible Hulk (2008 version) once again. This version is good, and Abomination makes a good villain. Not the best story line to it, but it's good nonetheless. It would be a shame if there was not a sequel, especially after Avengers Assemble made him such a popular character.
  6. This is a very good point, and it is one that I think is quite logical. There's no guarantee that these negotiations are for a license for The Simpsons. It could be anything that is done by Fox. It surprises me that so few other people on here seem to have picked up that potentially important detail.
  7. I highly doubt that something like that would be taken into consideration when making the CGI image of this series. To me personally, it doesn't matter as I always put accessories that can be held in one hand in the right hand of the minifigure. I'm not sure if it is something to do with the fact that I am right-handed or if it is just totally random that I do that. As for the gold minifigure concept, I hope that it isn't repeated in a future series. If it is repeated, I wouldn't care unless TLG made it look amazing (unlike this one, which is very average).
  8. The pictures that we have seen so far were taken from a video that was filmed at Nuremberg Toy Fair. Unfortunately, those images aren't particularly great. The pictures I am assuming to come out soon are pictures of the box art of the sets. I do hope such pictures do emerge soon; the Toy Fair pictures were, as I said before, not the best.
  9. Unfortunately not. However, the Superman sets are supposed to be coming out in the UK next month (according to the latest Argos catalogue). If that is true, it can't be too long before good pictures emerge. If pictures do emerge, you will know because of the dramatic increase in activity of this thread.
  10. Not my first set, but it is my oldest. It's a gem of a set that I was lucky enough to find at a car boot sale.
  11. LEGO The Simpsons ? This is a very interesting rumour, and one that I hope will come to fruition. The possibilities for this potential theme could virtually never end. And the show is ALWAYS on TV at some point every day, so there will always be media supporting the sets. As for people saying that The Simpsons is too adult for LEGO to delve into, recent licenses that LEGO have gained (The Lord of The Rings, The Lone Ranger etc) would suggest that LEGO do not mind making themes with slight adults themes in them, as is the case with The Simpsons. I seriously hope that this is true.
  12. That is very nice. I'm surprised that something like this hasn't been done yet (as far as I know). I also think that it would be interesting to see a similar snapshot using the TDKR Bane instead of the comic Bane.
  13. That is a very good minifigure. I'll definitely try and pick this book up when it comes to the UK. Hopefully it isn't obscenely expensive.
  14. Whilst others say they would like a new Killer Croc (and I personally wouldn't mind one), I think that the old version is still very good. I wouldn't mind if LEGO re-released it or made a completely new one or just made one that is subtly different to the old one. I just want to see a Killer Croc. On an unrelated note, how likely is it that we will see an exclusive set for Marvel and DC later in the year that we haven't yet heard about?
  15. In football (not the American kind), I support my local (well, there a couple of hours away from me, but that's not too bad) team Norwich City FC. No Premier League glory hunting for me. I also support the England national team in football, even if they have become very poor compared to other countries in recent years. I'm not really a fan of any other sports.
  16. I'll be honest and say that this is exactly what I have been thinking. Even so, I do still hope that we get a couple of minifigures at least. It wouldn't bother me if we got nothing more than Saruman and Grima when it comes to minifigures.
  17. Okay, to bring this back on topic, I cannot judge the model until I see it for the first time. However, it is likely that I will still buy it, or at least try to buy it with my restricted LEGO budget. If I cannot buy it myself, I will probably end up putting it on my Christmas list. Speaking of budget, what is the likely price of this set?
  18. All those suits at the end of the new Iron Man 3 trailer... :wub_drool: I never thought I would see so many suits all at once. The bulky one with claws for hands is interesting, as is the bulky one that appears right at the end of the trailer. I predict that the latter of those two suits will be the Hulkbuster suit, and if so this could end up being used in The Avengers 3, if the rumours about it are true. The Iron Patriot also looks awesome and it appears that it will have a large role in this film. It's a shame that LEGO aren't going to make these suits (or so it would seem). I'm going to hope that we get an exclusive set with Iron Patriot in it, as well as the Hulkbuster suit (if it is the one that appears at the end of the trailer). I can't wait! *EDIT* The Heartbreaker suit also looks very cool; it's a shame that the LEGO version doesn't look more like it (though the LEGO version is still very good).
  19. Your welcome. And I'll be sure to ask next time, though I have a feeling I may be keeping this Green Goblin one for quite a while.
  20. That's awesome! Simple, but amazing! The black and white shot is another amazing one (and it's now my avatar). I also hope that you don't mind me using your black and white pictures as my avatar on here all the time.
  21. According to the latest Argos catalogue, we in the UK are getting the Iron Man and Man of Steel sets in April. I'm not sure what day in April though as it did not say.
  22. Perhaps you have figured out how the TV series will end when this line comes to an end in a couple of years or so. The CHI runs out so the vehicles cannot be powered. This would also remove the reason for the war in the first place (fighting for CHI), thus the war would end along with the line. In the meantime, we have lots to look forward to in the summer. I'm still excited to see the Croc Hideout in the next couple of months.
  23. I suppose I should have mentioned that it's generally non-licensed sets at these higher price ranges that have fewer minifigures. Large licensed sets, on the other hand, do often have a decent amount of minifigures. Naturally, there will always be exceptions to these "rules". That's just the way it goes. In this case, I wouldn't mind what they do as I'm not likely to get Orthanc due to its high price, which is out of my low budget for LEGO.
