My opinion about the summer wave is not certain. There are sets that I really prefer and there are total rip-offs. The "new" AT-AT is almost the same as the 2010 edition with less figures (the new snowtroopers are good but nothing special). The ISD is beautiful on the outside but ugly on the inside, the 6211 was better IMO. The snowspeeder was a surprise even though the previous release was a year ago it improved spectaularly and looks great, i myself only have the very first edition and an upgrade is considerable. The B-wing in nice but still has the one-sided middle wing which after so many years is a letdown, but those figures are incredible (especially the pilot ) The new Yoda Chronicles set is a nice ship but I'm not interested in it. The Cantina is a decent play set with a very cute foldeable build and great figs, the new Obi-Wan is the best IMO. My instant buys will be the two Rebels sets, they have a very SW-y look and the compatibility makes the two sets way more sellable for me, I'm also really liking the figures as well. Now both my good and evil sides are talking when I say this summer will not make my wallet cry so hard...

That doesn't sound good. I'm really fond of EU content and it includes Lego sets as well. On the other side there are still many many thing that didn't make it to Lego form but I worry that we are going to get the same vehicles with minor upgrades from OT (which is already happening). If they going to totally deny EU than they should at least make place for PT sets too.

The propeller pieces are indeed very fitting. It's great to see another submarine MOC and I have to say it's awesome! The windows on the roof and the details on the sides are great!

For modding I think increasing the length of the ship is essential, also I quite like the sails made of technic pieces but it would look better with real fabric sails (or more tehcninc pieces which make a bigger and more realistic sail).

I'm still waiting for that to be released here (the last summer waves speedors were released only 1 months ago in Hungary ), that's the only set that contains Scorpion and I don't have. I want to collect all of them and the Shadowind figure is beautiful, thx for the post.

Hi Bricky I suggest you ask around in the Pirates forum, they have tutorials as well for different ships.

This ship looks incredible. The build is very sleek and has gorgeous details Good luck for Cuusoo!

I'm really fond of the set especially since I saw the movie. But It's too expensive for me and I don't think i can buy it. It's an awesome steampunky ship with a crazy captain and all the main characters, oh man

You "painted" a beautiful scene wit hLego bricks, the rocks are so realistic looking, stunning MOC!

Hmm it's strange I live in europe and we got all sets in january from the 1st wave, but I can't find the new Speedorz anywhere.
-
Hooly ss... *oh2* It looks beautiful, the amount of detail, the shape and the color scheme are amazing. Congrats for the MOC and good luck on cuusoo.

Very nice it's strange that we have no official version of this droid, however you version could be easily one. The build is perfect I think you can't get any more accuracy than this model has.

That's an outstanding MOC. Those curvy curves everywhere

The Ultra builds IMO are very weak, very ugly designs. The birds have very poorly built wings but my biggest disappointment is the mammoth. A mammoth supposed to be big but it's the smallest and those undetailed legs with the mashed up armor peices... I think Panthar looks the best, nice body, cool weapons too, shame we won't get him(/her?) in minifig. Laval and Cragger are nothing special, I think this orange color scheme doesn't fit Cragger. Sir fangar looks good too.

I just got mine now, it was really fast. Thanks again CopMike for the awesome prizes!

[MOC] Submarines: Mantis and Leviathan
Csacsa234 replied to Sebeus I's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great submarines, It's good to see someone is still making MOC's for a classic theme. -
This figure is awesome the green and blue blending is a really nice touch. The color scheme is great as well as the build.

The Nurnberg toy fair video 2-3 pages back, shows the Ghost from the side and you can see it's that part and there is a little empty space behind the turret so the minifig can be put there without taking the head off. Also the back of the ship has big space between the engines and a hole in the body too, I'm guessing that's where the Phantom docks.

The twilek girl is so adorable,Zeb is great as well, but the stormtrooper looks like somebody melted the original mold with a lighter... Although the torso and leg print is superb.
-
My thoughts exactly! It will be so great to get Galactic Marine minifigs. On the Rebels sets; The Phantom looks way better on the display stand, than on the box. I might change my mind and get it, still curious how it connects to the Ghost.

Wow really nice part usage, I really liek the head of the mech, nice work!

It's so great to see qood quality pictures of the new arctic sets, I'm so glad that theme coming back. The sets are very neat looking with some great vehicles and a few new parts. I like the truck the best but the HQ looks great as well. Thanks for the pics CM4S!
