Wow that is good looking. Try not to dent or scratch them . Just wondering how much did it cost for those red chrome wheels as I was looking to buy a set of those -

[WIP] Dump Truck
Rishab N replied to Rishab N's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For now I think I'll go without suspension . And no what I was trying to say was that I want the dump truck to be in scale with 42030 so it can mimic more of a construction site. However if it proves too tough to make a linkage, a flatbed truck may be the way to go I installed a fifth axle and it works great, however it doesnt go perfectly straight with the front axles and has a small angle of tilt to it. Its not too noticeable from a distance but the truck wouldn't be able to sdrive straight with it Sorry I don't have 3 but i'd still love to see it -
[WIP] Dump Truck
Rishab N replied to Rishab N's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For now mine drives over the carpet really well although I'll have to see how it does after I add the steering axle. Also I dont own any spare suspension pieces Alright the fifth axle sounds like a good idea I'll definitely implement it.. Concerning the length, I really like it as I want it to be big enough for the 42030. Would adding another axle to the middle of the truck help? I feel like it will make the middle more sturdy. Btw I like your solution for the second axle steering on your truck-Its a nice idea That is a really good idea. I'll have to try something similar to that over the weekend Thanks everyone for all the help -

I've never seen the second one before and it looks really good. Do you have more info?

Since Model Team is a display type theme in which looks matter more than functions, I would say make it as a display model -
