  1. Mine is definitely the Haunted House. My kids play with this set all year long. I spent some time last night modifying the interior decor, so I had take a good look at the structure. I remembered how much fun I had building it.
  2. I'm all in for this set! I think the last couple modulars were rather lacking, so it would be refreshing to see TLG put out a huge set for AFOLs. I don't need a 500-piece wall of bricks reminiscent of the recent City "mini-modulars". Hell, I could build that myself. I'll bet that Lego knocks the GB HQ outta the park.
  3. I PRAY that Giant Man is a constraction figure, and not brickbuilt. Humans don't translate well into brick build form.
  4. Damn, I would buy every single one of these sets. Great ideas!
  5. The look of this design is very refreshing. It's not a sportscar, and it's not a tank. A Bat-buggy? But I love it!
  6. I'm heading out to the Lego store in a few minutes to grab a few of these! I loves me some Marvel Superhero minifigs, and with a little mod, that tiger lady is gonna make a wonderful Tigra custom, and a welcome addition to my Avengers roster.
  7. Amazing! My kids will LOVE it!
  8. Holy smokes! That mech is amazing! This thing is built like a tank. It seems a lot of the mechs anymore are thin, lithe, and frankly, too skinny for me. Your mech looks like it could withstand the crushing pressure from being on the seafloor.
  9. Wow. Phenomenal build! Very sleek.
  10. Welcome to the Eurobricks forum! People COULD post their speculation and wishlists in the appropriate threads, but they're too damn lazy to click the mouse a couple extra times.
  11. Woohooo. I'd like to make another prediction: there will be ninjas included in the sets. :)
  12. I agree! Northeast Ohio weather has been strangely dry this summer. It's been so beautiful outside to stay in and build. On the plus side, there's lots of Lego squirreled away for when Fall arrives. I was rather crestfallen when Lego put the kibosh on the X-Mansion. Luckily, I found instructions on Brickbuilderspro.com for a set that has architecture closely resembling how I visualize the X-Mansion. Back on topic: someone mentioned imagining Flynn's Arcade from Tron Legacy as a source of inspiration for an arcade modular, and I couldn't agree more. I know the arcade was only a rumour, but has it been "officially" eliminated as the next modular?
  13. ...and it runs good on regular gas. The car is a real treat, and Joliet Jake is the icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing!
  14. They searched you where? And you hid the flash drive in your what? They wore gloves, right?
  15. With Ghostbusters 3 in production now, I could see that "nostalgic" set being based on the original flick. I mean,it's even getting its own level in Dimensions.
  16. Hopefully, with The Fantastic Four bombing, Fox lets go of the movie rights. Then, Marvel can do the franchise justice, and we'll finally have a chance at getting some FF Lego!
  17. Looks like Igor is getting some plastic surgery and becoming my Apocalypse.
  18. Toys r Us usually stocks shelves a week or two before Leo's official release date. I picked up da Mystery Machine last weekend, and all the other August releases, including the other Scooby-Doo sets, Ninjago, and DC'S Jokerland were out as well.
  19. My word! As always, phenomenal customs! I gotta know, could you please post recipes for Angel and Spiral?
  20. Hot damn! Lego makes my dreams a reality! Ninjas vs. Marvel's mightiest mutants! It was just a matter of time. Seriously, tho. I'd love the ninjas to go up against some salty pirate types. I really need a No-Eyed Pete to round out me Mssterbuilder crew. Metal beard can't navigate the Seacow all on his onesies!
  21. This set has really restored my faith in Lego. I used to collect Modulars, but the last couple have left a bad taste in my mouth. They're meant to be for adult collectors, but have become more juvenile, IMO. Now, Lego releases this set, based on a theme targeted at youngsters, but the architecture and detailing and play features are all just mind-boggling! For a kids' set! The 2 smaller buildings look easily expandable, and I'm good with the size of the temple. What made this set an instant buy for me is the Chinese lantern effect included at the base of the temple. That is genius. I was pleasantly surprised by that little feature, but my kids went totally amazeballs when they saw the lantern feature demonstrated in the Designer video. The designers could have used that space to make yet another dungeon, but they went the other way and lit up the space and made something special with it.
  22. Oh my...that's a beautiful set. Day One purchase for me.
