LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 Rumors and Discussion
Colossus replied to 8BrickMario's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Bummed out that CMF's at local TRU was picked over after only being on the pegs a few hours. No banana guy. The icing on the cake was finding 2 babysitters, but leaving one. I get home, daughter opens pack, and infant's head print is upside down. -
Ummmm...besides Cars and a line whose name rhymes with "Flower Dangers", what other line has leaked that we are not supposed to discuss? I mean, if I don't know what it is, how am I supposed to know I'm not allowed discussing it? C'mon, someone please throw me a 2 M. Ø3.2 Bone here.

Nexo Knights wishlists
Colossus replied to JurrasicPiggy's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Brilliant idea about dinosaurs! Alough I'd give Axl a triceratops, Clay a tyrannosaurus, Macy would get an ankylosaur, since ankylosaurs probably used their tails like maces, Aaron would ride a raptor, and Lance a pachycephalosaurid from which he could joust. Just spitballin'here. -

My kids have been using the medieval village as an environment to stage battles. As a result, I've had to beef up my population of globlins so they look more like an intimidating horde of baddies rather than an evil pet rock collection.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Colossus replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hi, guys! I was raised on Marvel comics, so to explain Roxxon: it's Marvel's go-to bad guy corporation. The company has been in the comics for decades. Think of it kinda like Lego using Octan. -
Would it kill Lego to throw a few globlins in there as well? Cheapskates...

Say...agoodfella, any custom X-Men coming up anytime this Summer?
-
You can also buy the Night Cycle outright for $3.19 each, since it's also 20% off. I bought a few just to beef up the calvary.

Yes! 2 weeks ago. Also, there's a light blue wizard hat with a brim I slapped on him.

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game Discussion
Colossus replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I realize this is Marvel AVENGERS, but I'm damn tired of Marvel phasing out the X-Men. When the company was floundering in the '90s, the X-Men franchise practically kept Marvel out of bankruptcy. Jackasses. Speaking of which, I AM thrilled to see Jack of Hearts in this game!- 647 replies

So...has anyone tried using Bricks and Pieces to obtain new pieces from the Nexo sets, like parts to build squirebots? I'd like to assemble an army of the various bots, but $6 a pop on eBay for a bot is a little pricey. I saw in the Superhero threads that hero minifig parts were available through B and P, and I figured if licensed minifig parts were on the site, then these would be as well.

I was really looking forward to seeing this set released. I watched Batman growing up, had the Mego figures, the Corgi die cast Batmobile, etc. But the price for this is outrageous! I was anticipating buying the Ghostbusters set because of my love for the characters, and it's the only good modular that Lego has released in years. But it's $350 USD. That's a stretch for me, but the GB set looks worth the money. This Batcave set looks like something pieced together just to attempt to justify its pricetag. Easy pass, unfortunately.

The Nexo Knights app game refers to Flama as a male. Threw me off a little, too.

The Cleveland LEGO store sold out of the GB HQ and Bank modulars in a few hours. Looks like S@H for me. (sob!) -
Thanks!

Who is selling the King's Mech? I know the sets aren't officially released, but I've been to B&N, TRU, and Target in my area where ALL the other sets are on shelves already except for the King's Mech. Is it an exclusive?

I managed to build the friction motor from the Toy Story RC set into my son's Claymobile, while still maintaining the same asthetics. Does anyone have the Fortrex yet, and if so, is there room to possibly build in a couple infrared remote control motors?

Say, agoodella77, any news on a new minifig coming out? My X-Men roster could always use some bolstering! Happy holidays!!!!
