Not really. I mean, if you want them to have shields (as I do), you'll still need to buy them off Bricklink. Besides, as I said before, I can't find them anywhere. Bluebeard, out-

Well normally, that would be the case, but the Orc impulse isn't sold anywhere where I live, and Bricklink and S@H doesn't seem to have any in the UK. So, I'll just have to buy the minifigs and weapons separately via Bricklink. It doesn't really matter anyway: the impulse doesn't include the Orc shield. True, but then that'd mean I'd have to buy another castle (it's not really fair sides if one side has a big fort, while the other has nothing, is it now? ) and I seriously don't wanna buy something that'll take up MORE space in my room. I dunno...I might build up a medium-size Redcoat army to go with the Soldier's Fort I plan on buying and have the ultimate Pirates vs. Castle war! Bluebeard, out-

With the Troll's Dark Fortress coming later this year, I have decided to create an Orc army. Though I'm only gonna start on this project after I get the fortress, are there any things I should do or keep in mind? Bluebeard, out-

Same here. I doubt TLC would've changed the Troll mould anywayz... Bluebeard, out-

Mere troll shields?! Those things are like gold! D: But yeah, I guess I could buy them off Bricklink. It's just really annoying that the fort only comes with one. :( Bluebeard, out-

My opinion on this year's sets: King's Chariot: This isn't the best Castle set I've seen in recent years, and it's not hard to see why. £15 for 103 pieces?! This set had more than that and it was nearly half the price! The good thing about this set: It haz Orc shieldz! :D Will I buy it?: Only if it's on sale; otherwise, no. Troll's Dark Fortress: It's official: The Orcs are now my favourite Castle faction (yes, even more so than the Fright Knights!). What can I say? I love (almost) everything about this fort; the rocky, mountainous look of it; the two alcoves for the Trolls; the big wooden doors at the front; and the awesome Orc Witch and Orc King minifigs. The biggest downfall of this set is that, as far as I can see, there's only one Orc shield in the whole set! That is pathetic, TLC. The Troll Warship had FOUR Orc shields and it was the same price as the fortress. Will I buy it?: Despite it's lack of Orc shieldness, yes, I will buy it. I just hope there's a big sale on the King's Chariot at the end of the year -_-... Drawbridge Defence: Urrgh....just when I thought I'd seen the last of the Skellies... Man, if this set had 3 Orc Warriors, each with an Orc shield, this set would have "INSTANT BUY" written all over it, but nooooo, they had to put in the Skellies. That aside, this is actually a pretty cool set. The tower has a nice look and the set reminds me of 6078 Royal Drawbridge. The Gold Knight looks amazing, if not a little over-the-top. Will I buy it?: Possibly, but not straight away. Bluebeard, out-

Vintage Minifigure Collection II

Now you're talking, TLC! I MIGHT consider actually buying this one if I've got money to burn at some point or if it's price is dropped. Bluebeard, out- -

Sounds cool, though if this game doesn't have Wi-Fi, that will be uber-lame. Bluebeard, out- -

Good job! You should have a pic of him diving into a pile of LEGO coins. Bluebeard, out- -
Now that there is a new line of LEGO Pirates and a new captain, do you think Brickbeard will eventually become the "face" of LEGO Pirates as Redbeard did back in the 1990's?; or will Redbeard remain as the Pirate minifig to rule them all? Post away! Bluebeard, out-

Oookay then... *grabs the wheel and steers back on-topic* Yeah, I was a member at BZPower. I went under the name of ~Antroz~. The reason I left? I simply stopped liking Bionicle. The Mistika really jumped the shark IMO, and this year's sets don't really appeal to me either. But it's not all bad. I now have more money to buy videogames and such like and I'm buying less LEGO than I used to (that's not to say I've stopped liking it though ). Bluebeard, out-

Which 2009 Lego Pirate sets do you have?
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Ye Olde Pirate's topic in LEGO Pirates
I ordered Shipwreck Hideout from S@H yesterday, so it should arrive by the end of the week. I plan to get Brickbeard's Bounty, Soldiers Fort, and maybe Loot Island (not quite sure it's worth £15). Bluebeard, out- -
The Piraka (I hate those spines!) The Hordika (If you own one, you own them all) The Mistika (The only good thing about them is that they put me off Bionicle. Now I can focus on the new Pirates ) Bluebeard, out-

Yay! A winner iz me!!! Unfortunately, I don't have much love for Sandy Cheeks. Anyone wanna trade? -Bluebeard, out- -
I voted "No" because they jumped the shark with the Mistika. End of story. Bluebeard, out-

I'm guessing no, seeing as it's the US site. Bluebeard, out-

Well, apparently, the reason we have to wait is because European stores have different stocking times for the new products (or something like that. I'm not entirely sure). Unfortunately, things don't work like that. Especially with the current economic crisis. Wrong. I've heard we in the EU are going to get the Castle sets earlier than the US in order to compensate for the lateness of the Pirates. Bluebeard, out-

Surely you mean 2008 sets? Bluebeard, out-

It wouldn't make a difference anyway. We in the UK have TRU's and, as far as I know, the new sets aren't there. Bluebeard, out-

Get the 2009 Pirate LEGO Sets on eBay
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well, I haven't heard any news about the sets appearing in UK stores, so the only way sellers could've got them is by having some secret source somewhere. Bluebeard, out-
