7066 Earth Defence HQ for an absolute steal at £37.48 from Tesco Direct! Now to find somewhere to put it... Bluebeard, out-

Great find, Jouster! So, we finally see Pythor up close... Well, that settles it; Ultra Sonic Raider is a must-buy for me. Another thing I noticed is that the Green Ninja appears to have Pearl Dark Grey armour and headwrap printing, which is a nice touch as it further increases his uniqueness. The NRG ninjas are a bit meh, except for maybe Zane, with his interesting shade of pale blue. Bluebeard, out-

Personally, I love the use of snake crowns on the Fangpyre Truck, but yeah, it does look a bit messy on the Samurai Mech. Actually, Kai ZX does have a spinner. Bluebeard, out-

I wouldn't pay much attention to those CG images; the colours do tend to be a little off. Agreed. The only summer wave set that piques my interest is the Ultra Sonic Raider, mostly due to Pythor (purple's my favourite colour) and the insane amount of gold sai blades you get, but I'd have to see clearer pics to know for sure whether I'm going to buy it or not. I suppose...I mean, some of those sellers can be flat-out ridiculous, but nonetheless, I'd still be open to buying them off Bricklink, as bargains do happen. Bluebeard, out-

$100+ for 2 minifigures? Exaggerate much? Bluebeard, out-

Forgive me, but I think that's a little unwise, especially considering how much that set is gonna cost. I'd strongly suggest using Bricklink or, alternatively, direct from LEGO (though you'll probably pay considerably more with the latter). Bluebeard, out-

He comes with the Epic Dragon Battle, as does Acidicus the Venomari general. While we're on the subject of the Serpentine tribes, which one is your favourite (not counting the near-extinct Anacondrai tribe)? For me, it's the Hypnobrai. Their crazy eyes remind me of Kaa from The Jungle Book. Bluebeard, out-

Therefore, I'll probably update this thread with new items every so often (at least monthly). Bluebeard, out-

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I couldn't agree more; I'm straight and I recently watched all the episodes of Ouran High School Host Club. It's by far the funniest anime series I've ever seen! Bluebeard, out- -
Spinner for Jay ZX
Capt. Bluebeard replied to KurttKrueger's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hello there! Glad to hear you and your son are enjoying Ninjago! Regarding your question about Jay's spinner; yes, there is one scheduled for release in the summer (June to be specific). Bluebeard, out- -
REVIEW: 9446 Destiny’s Bounty
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Siegfried's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank you so much for this review! I am planning to order this from Amazon this week, so this is just what I needed! Now having looked at real-life pic of the new Lord Garmadon, I have to say that he looks really awful with the "extra torso", especially since it seems to be a different colour to the rest of his body. The idea of a four-armed minifig is a grand idea, but this simply isn't the way to do it. Bluebeard, out- -
You know, I was just thinking; if the Anacondrai were once a tribe like the others, and Pythor (the presumed General of said tribe) is the only survivor (and taking into account that you can only be General if you possess the Golden Snake staff, as seen when the Hypnobrai staff changed hands from Slithraa to Skales), what happened to the Anacondrai staff? Or the Anacondrai fang-blade for that matter? I suppose Pythor could've eaten them while he was imprisoned, but I dunno... BTW, I think this sort of thing would be perfect for LEGO VIP. If you're still interested in 6242 Soldiers Fort, I've calculated p&p using Royal Mail; it'll be £6.
-
The reason I say "UK members only" is that whereas I'd be able to give a rough estimate of how much it would cost send inland, I wouldn't even know where to begin to get an accurate p&p cost for overseas, and I don't what sort of extra costs might be involved. If someone experienced in this sort of thing could give me advice, it'd be much appreciated. EDIT: @Ben Kenobi 1992: OK. I'll need a way to contact you though, since you can't PM me. Bluebeard, out-

Hello there! I have a LEGO Pirates 6242 Soldiers Fort circa 2009 for sale here. Excellent, clean condition and 100% complete with box and 2 instruction manuals. Picture The price I ask for is £25.00 + £6.00 p&p EDIT: SOLD The other item for sale is an Egyptian LEGO Lot, which consists of pieces from 5978 & 5988. However, they are both incomplete and, therefore, you should treat this as a mixed lot; simply an addition to one's LEGO collection. The weight of the lot is roughly 1.4kg. All pieces are in excellent & clean condition. Pictures: Whole lot Special pieces Walls, BURPS & LURPS, palm tree (Note: I have since found another palm tree and have added it to this bag) Tan, dark grey & light grey pieces Baseplates Examine the pictures carefully, as what you see is what is you get, nothing more, nothing less. The price I ask for is £20.00, although I am willing to haggle (again, I am not sure of the p&p). If you're at all interested, drop me a PM. Oh, and just so I'm clear, both of these items are for sale only to UK EB members. Bluebeard, out-

Interesting... Well, firstly, I am simply going to ignore Hamleys' inflated prices, as I'm sure the actual retail price will be less. Secondly, I find it quite odd that these sets are including the ZX Ninjas, as opposed to NRG ones in the spinner sets. Surely there must be a mistake here or something? Bluebeard, out-

The Future of Ninjago
Capt. Bluebeard replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You're wrong: there is a summer wave planned for this year. And anyway, Ninjago has shown no signs of poor sales and will probably continue for at least 2 more years after this year. Bluebeard, out- -
Your Ninjago Cards
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Perry the Platypus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Not really; I throw the rest in the bin (cue horrified gasps from other collectors). Bluebeard, out- -
Your Ninjago Cards
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Perry the Platypus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't really collect them as such; I keep the character cards 'cause I like the artwork. I also keep ones that I like, such as Ninja Star (that card is so funny ). Bluebeard, out- -
Hey, does anyone happen to have that pic of all the LEGO snake tails together? It was posted a while back, around the same time we first saw CMF Series 6. Bluebeard, out-

I suppose... It's not really a plot hole as such, because creating your own plots is part of the LEGO experience; the "official plot" is only really there to provide a template. Bluebeard, out-

It also provides an interesting plot hole, as seen here. Bluebeard, out-

The Future of Ninjago
Capt. Bluebeard replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I think I heard something about one more wave for 2013 titled "Ninjas vs. Pirates", but nothing more than that. From what I've experienced of the theme, I feel that while Ninjago certainly has been huge success and I can see it lasting for at least another year (after 2012), I'm not entirely sure what other directions it can go in. Bluebeard, out- -
There is now a video showing the summer wave booster packs. Still no sign of Lasha's Bite Cycle, though. Bluebeard, out-
