  1. *gasps* I knew it! Let's book 'im! Bluebeard, out-
  2. This isn't good... Yet again, TLG has found it fit to release highly-anticipated sets in the US waaay before they're due. The event that usually follows this is that the EU and Australia then have to wait until next year to get their paws on them. Let's pray that this isn't the case and they'll be hitting the stores just in time for Christmas! Bluebeard, out-
  3. You know what would be even better than Nintendo LEGO? Capcom LEGO! Just imagine...Megaman (new cannon-arm piece ), Street Fighter (I can only imagine the number of stop-motion movies), Resident Evil (although that'd be highly unlikely) and, as I said before, Okami (because it's awesome). 4. D'oh! >_< I was kinda hoping that next year's Castle sets would be rubbish, so I'd have more money to spend on Pirates. Guess I was wrong ..... ... Possibly the greatest Castle set to date! I know what I'm going to be spending my Christmas money on !
  5. I hear ya there, as I'm not really a "Castle guy" either. I was a bit "on the bridge" about buying the set at first, but I bought it in the end and I don't regret it either! Of course, you're welcome to make the decision yourself, so don't think I'm pressuring you or anything. Bluebeard, out-
  6. Definitely Tower Raid. I just cannot stress how amazing that set is. The HP sets, while they come with some unique pieces, aren't worth it, IMO. Bluebeard, out-
  7. I'd personally like to see a "horror" theme, similar to that of 1997's Fright Knights, if not the same. That theme was what got me into LEGO in the first place (which is rather ironic, because according to some stories I've heard, the same theme also made people go into their "Dark Ages" ), and I'd love to see it return. 8. Meh... Give me LEGO Okami anyday! Bluebeard, out-
  9. Best Castle set of 2008, IMO! I voted "Outstanding" 'cause everything about this set is perfect (although, if I was in a nit-picky mood, I'd probably give it "Above Average", but because I'm a nice guy and I don't usually buy Castle, I'll let it fly). The battering ram works excellently and the tower's design is very impressive. Bluebeard, out-
  10. Hmm...not that great, but I may get it for the minfigs and pieces. I don't like the fact that the Troll doesn't come with a shield, and that most of the constructions are really simple when compared to the stuff in the City Advent Calendar. Bluebeard, out-
  11. May I ask how you did this? I've been dying to play LEGO Racers again, but ever since my family switched to Vista, it's been sitting in the box beside my computer. Bluebeard, out-
  12. Hi Bonaparte! Have an amazing birthday! Here's your present: Now be careful with it, or you might get Blowna-parte! (Note to self: never to take up comedy as a career) Bluebeard, out-
  13. Or maybe it was him -> Bluebeard, out-
  14. Really? They have them in my local Co-Op and Dominoes toy store. Bluebeard, out-
  15. How about "Dinghy"? Bluebeard, out-
  16. You forgot to include Dr. Robotnik! Anyhoo, the game I'd like to see made into LEGO is.....Okami! Why would this be a good idea? Because the main minifig would be a wolf! Here are some ideas I came up with: Kamiki Village: Comes with four houses, merchant stall, a big constructible rock that breaks apart and the Konohana tree. Minifigs include: Amaterasu (who'd have a slightly bigger dog mold with the red streaks printed on and a stud on the back for the Reflector) Susano Kushi Mr. & Mrs. Orange Green Imp x2 Red Imp Merchant The guy with the basket on his head (can't remember his name) IMPULSE - Susano's Training Grounds: Comes with Susano, Amaterasu and 3 training dummys. Spider Queen Battle: Comes with the Spider Queen, Amaterasu, several Konohana Blossoms and a chest which contains "Snarling Beast". Gale Shrine: A big windmill with path-changing mechanisms and the circular lift. Comes with Amaterasu, Crimson Helm (new centaur mold perhaps?), Chimera x2, Waka, Susano and Yatsu. I have a lot more ideas than that, but I'm too lazy type up all of them. Bluebeard, out-
  17. D'oh! They should've put one in Leicester's new Highcross Shopping Centre! It would definitely save me the trip to Birmingham, which I don't even go to that often anyway... Bluebeard, out-
  18. Dude, how 'bout some pics!!! Hmm...something tells me he's joking. Well, at least I hope he is... Bluebeard, out-
  19. Here's my opinion on the two Impulse sets: 8396 Impulse set (the one with the soldier): Three words: ARMY. BUILDING. HEAVEN. Seriously though, it has everything you could possibly need for an army (including the much-missed backpack). Needless to say, I'll be buying loads of these! 8397 Impulse set (the one with the pirate): Unfortunately, with every good thing, there comes a bad. The campfire looks rubbish (couldn't they have used the campfire from 7624 Jungle Duel? That one was at least realistic), the pirate is ugly and you only get one weapon (a pistol), where as in 8396, you get three! The other stuff, such as the snake and the crate, isn't really all that exciting. Bluebeard, out-
  20. Like Shoc said, pirates and sea travel is not just an American thing. In fact, some of the famous pirates you are referring to (i.e. Bartholomew Roberts, William Kidd) actually came from Britain, so there you go. Bluebeard, out-
  21. Not to be rude or anything, but could you tell us where you got this info from? And: If this is true, I can imagine many army-builders will be very happy! Bluebeard, out-
  22. Don't say things like that! It's bad luck! ....... Bluebeard, out-
  23. Some people like to buy MISB for one of these two reasons: a) They like to get their LEGO brand new (like me! ). b) They're hardcore collectors who must get their sets MISB, so as to maintain the "collector's value". Bluebeard, out-
  24. Inacabana Jones? A blue tricorner? Do they come in other colours too (apart from the official brown and black)? Bluebeard, out-
  25. The reason he doesn't have a cutlass is that he's marooned. When pirates were marooned, they'd be given a pistol with one shot, just in case they wanted a quick death. :pir-skull: Huzzah to TLG for realism! Anyhoo, I must say this is one of the more mediocre Impulse Pirates sets, but it's still great nonetheless. It's far better than 1464 Pirate Lookout ( ). Bluebeard, out-
