  1. I got Reviewer, despite me not having done a single review in my life. Perhaps I should change that; I've got a big chunk of free-time coming at the end of the month, so maybe... Bluebeard, out-
  2. I got bored and made this in MS Paint: Bluebeard, out-
  3. @The Joker1: Yeah, I saw those ones from the Netherlands on Bricklink, but I passed on them 'cause I thought it would not be long before they became available at S@H. And now, of course, they're gone (at least, the Vampyre Castles are)... Bluebeard, out-
  4. It's not just the US who has MF; Canada, Germany, Austria & Switzerland also have it. There are also a number of European countries who have Ninjago 2012 Wave 2, City Mining and SW 2012 Wave 2. Unfortunately, the UK, as well as Poland and Hungary, seem to be the only countries who do not have a summer theme on their respective Shop@Home. Yes, even the Korean Shop@Home has Ninjago 2012 Wave 2! *sigh*...Sorry if I come off a little whiny, but it really is quite aggravating when everyone else seems to be getting something and you don't... 5. @tim636100: Well, I emailed LEGO and this is the reply I got: Not very informative and, to be honest, I'm not inclined to believe a single word of it. I believe that MF will arrive in the UK this month, seeing as they recently got rid of some of last years themes, such as Atlantis & Alien Conquest. It is just a question of when exactly that will happen. Bluebeard, out-
  6. At least you guys have got the main range. Us lot across the pond are still waiting... They're in the UK S&H database too. It's just that they're taking their time becoming available for purchase. Bluebeard, out-
  7. Looks like we'll be getting a zombie polybag: (SOURCE) Bluebeard, out-
  8. Fixed, and no, probably not 'cause the wheels on the carts and the wheels at the very front are set apart at different widths. Or at least, they seem to be. Anyhoo, to tide myself over 'til MF hits the UK, I've been playing Castlevania: Circle of the Moon on an emulator, which has given me some ideas for future sets. A set featuring Cerberus would be pretty cool, for example. The Cerberus mould that HP gave us back in 2001 is a little outdated; I'd like to see one that is as detailed and posable as the Forest Police bear. Another idea would the Medusa; they could use the snake-tail piece from Ninjago. Bluebeard, out-
  9. @MightyMegs: Although I do not own the set, I am almost certain that the Ghost Train will not fit on LEGO tracks, due to the rubber tyres on the carts. Bluebeard, out-
  10. Same here; I keep thinking to myself "I should really set some money aside for at least one LOTR set", but when I look at them, none of them strike me as worth getting. Not at all the case with Monster Fighters; there are so many sets I want to get from this theme, I'm having to sell stuff off just to make sure I have enough money! Bluebeard, out-
  11. You know, I wasn't really impressed with this theme at the start of this year, but as of late, I've found myself falling in love with the theme. I'm really excited that I'll finally be able to get a vampire minifig (and a far better one, at that), as I lost my original Studios one some time ago. Another thing about this theme that I just adore are the vehicles, especially that big, beefy, and completely over-the-top truck in 9465 The Zombies Hopefully, the sets will arrive in the UK in time for my birthday, so I can get, at the very least, the two small sets and the castle. After you finish building, could you measure how tall the castle is, please? I just want to make sure I have enough room on my shelf. Bluebeard, out-
  12. Thanks for this quite informative review! Well, I have to say that while I'm a little disappointed by the Swamp Creature (I really hope that TLG fixes his eye alignment problem), I am pleasantly surprised by Frank Rock. He looks like quite the badass and is definitely my favourite Monster Fighter. His clothes are very Castlevania-esque, specifically the sleeveless leather jacket and the knee protectors. When I get around to buying this set, I'll probably give him a chain whip to go with this look. Bluebeard, out-
  13. I can vouch for both of these; The Big O is very good, especially if you're a fan of Batman: TAS (not only is it the inspiration of The Big O, but they were both in fact animated by the same studio, Sunrise). Wolf's Rain is definitely worth a watch. However, there are quite a few mythological references that may be lost on some viewers. Bluebeard, out-
  14. Has anyone got a video link to the latest episode "All of Nothing"? Bluebeard, out-
  15. Indeed. The phrase "Jack of all trades, master of none" comes to mind here. Bluebeard, out-
  16. Great job, Schfio! Good piece usage for the noses. The hair is pretty well-done too! I'm not all that familiar with the work of L'Arc~en~Ciel, except Driver's High, which they performed as an opening for one of my favourite comedy animes, Great Teacher Onizuka. Bluebeard, out-
  17. Hi! I have a LEGO 7985 City of Atlantis for sale here. Excellent, clean condition and 100% complete with box and instruction manual. Picture The price I ask for is £25.00 (incl. p&p). My terms: * Sorry, but I only ship within the UK. * As for method of payment, I only accept PayPal. PM me ASAP if interested! Bluebeard, out-
  18. It could be. After all, they did resort to cannibalism, and Pythor, being the general, possibly either had more willpower than his underlings or, more likely, was strong enough to defend himself. Bluebeard, out-
  19. Thanks, Bricksandparts! Bluebeard, out-
  20. Many thanks for this review, SirSven7! While I too agree that the Fright Knights theme in general is poor, I do have a soft spot for the minifigures (especially Basil). I also like the whole Gothic feel to the theme, and would very much like to see something similar in a future subtheme of LEGO Castle, but with better execution. Bluebeard, out-
  21. My thoughts exactly, although the castle has been growing on me. I'll probably wait 'til it's on clearance next year, so I can get two and combine them into an even bigger castle. Bluebeard, out-
  22. Hmmm...I like NRG Zane, but the rest are just awful. Maybe it's a good thing that these are spinner-exclusive... Bluebeard, out-
  23. Just thought I'd share my thoughts on the summer wave: 9447 Lasha's Bite Cycle - I like this set. Despite there being absolutely nothing special going on in this set, I actually like this set. The motorcycle is very cute, and a few more masonry bricks never hurt. 9448 Samurai Mech - This, in my opinion, is an example of an idea sounding cool on paper, but when realised, it actually looks quite poor. The head, while a decent attempt at making the kabuto shape, just looks messy; the feet are too blocky; and there are simply too many cheese slopes and round tiles. There are a few things I like, such as the sword and the use of Nya's phoenix logo on the torso, but on the whole, I'm gonna skip on this one. 9449 Ultra Sonic Raider - By far and away, my favourite set out of this wave. I like how there are clips to store the ninjas' golden weapons, and the prison at the back. The gold sai blades (14 in total!) are very welcome, too. Of course, we can't forget the main attraction; Pythor! With purple being my favourite colour, he'll probably end up being my favourite Serpentine. It's just a shame that this doesn't come with the NRG ninjas, but oh well... This is definitely going on my birthday list! 9450 Epic Dragon Battle - I will say this; this set is nowhere near as bad as I thought it was when I first saw it. The Serpentine prison cell looks interesting, especially with what appears to be a fountain of venom at the top there. The Great Devourer looks alright, but it could do with some extra fangs because it looks like a sock puppet as it does now. The 4-headed Dragon, while still looking like a mess, does have some redeeming features, like the amazing colourscheme and the flapping wings. I think my main beef with the dragon is that it looks too "robotic", especially when compared with last year's dragons. Bluebeard, out-
  24. Does anyone happen to know the price of the Ultra Sonic Raider? I know it isn't much help to me, but it'd at least give a rough idea of how much it'll cost in the UK. Bluebeard, out-
  25. Other than the Epic Dragon Battle, the Green Ninja has his own spinner set. As for Pythor, he only comes with the Ultra Sonic Raider. Bluebeard, out-
