Here are my predictions: * Atlantis will be discontinued. * Kingdoms will either be discontinued or introduce a new faction. * Pharaohs Quest will continue, but under a different name to go with whatever setting they decide on. * Harry Potter will be discontinued. * POTC will either go on for another year or be discontinued and (hopefully) be replaced with regular Pirates. * Alien Conquest will continue, but will probably only have a small wave. * All other themes will continue. Next "Adventurers" Theme Ideas
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Commander Keller's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Now THAT is an idea I can get behind. Dracula's castle would look amazing, what with the Gothic architecture and all that. Plus, vampires are really cool nowadays, so it'd sell like hotcakes! Bluebeard, out- -

My thoughts exactly. I'd rather have TLG do something original, instead of just doing what Adventurers did. Bluebeard, out-

Using my birthday money, I bought 6900 Cyber Saucer and 6915 Warp Wing Fighter, costing £31 altogether(inc. postage). Not a bad deal. I've also got my eye on a bunch of Ice Planet stuff... Bluebeard, out-

LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Izzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
In an episode of Friends, you can see the Toa Kaita Wairuhi (the combined form of Lewa, Gali & Kopaka) in Joey and Chandler's apartment, on top of the microwave(?). Bluebeard, out- -
Yeah, I used to be totally into Bionicle from 2001 up until mid-2008, when they jumped the shark/nuked the fridge/soured the bagel with Wave 2 of that year. Then I was into Pirates from around the time I joined this forum to the start of my mini-Dark Age. Now, with the end of my Dark Age, the theme I'm into at the moment is Pharaoh's Quest. I'm currently saving up for the Scorpion Pyramid and maybe couple of the smaller sets as well. Bluebeard, out-

Which theme/subtheme did you miss and regret?
Capt. Bluebeard replied to BeKindRewind's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I regret missing the first few series of the LEGO Collectible Minifigs. I picked up a couple of Series 4 while at GAME the other day, and I think they're pretty sweet for £2. That reminds me; I need to get the Musketeer before Series 5 come out... Bluebeard, out- -
What game are we playing at the moment?
Capt. Bluebeard replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I am currently playing Pokemon Diamond, Platine (French version) AND LeafGreen. O_O....Too many pokemanz, but I wanna complete them before HGSS are released. Bluebeard, out- -
The three most memorable moments in a video game for you
Capt. Bluebeard replied to AgentRick's topic in Culture & Multimedia
1) The time I beat my first Mega Man game (Mega Man 9). I loved the credits with the catchy tune and the awesome 8-bit artwork of the 8 Robot Masters doin' stuff. 2) Playing Okami for the first time. It was amazing! I really must get the PS2 version, as I've heard that version is better than the one on the Wii. 3) Playing my first Pokemon game, Pokemon Emerald. Bluebeard, out- -
Then why don't you just say "no groceries or any other every-day items" in the topic description? No offence, but that is a silly suggestion as it would create lots of unnecessary posts and would no doubt spawn many other clone topics. Bluebeard, out-

T_T... I'm sorry. I was under the impression that this forum was for non-LEGO discussion, especially seeing as the forum is for "all the chit-chat and fun that belongs nowhere else" .... EDIT: There also seems to be several non-LEGO topics in this forum, such as "Show us your car!" and "Any guitarists out there?", so the fact that this topic is for LEGO purchases only is pretty stupid, to be honest. Finally, I recieved my Okami Official Soundtrack, complete with all 5 CDs in the post today! My opinion? 4 words: BEST. VIDEOGAME. SOUNDTRACK. EVAR!!! Seriously, it's that good. There are virtually no bad tracks at all in this collection. Even the really short ones like the Battle Assessment and the Miracle theme are strokes of musical genius! Unfortunately, the soundtrack is rather hard to get hold of these days, especially since it was only released in Japan. I got mine off a guy on eBay who has a lot of imported Japan-only videogame soundtracks, so I was lucky. Bluebeard, out-

While I'm a big fan of Basil the Batlord (whom I have not seen in a long time. Please don't tell me I've lost him! ), the Fright Knights sub-theme didn't have the best of sets (though, I do recommend 6047 Traitor Transport as it is actually an amazing set). Overall, it was a great concept, and it had the some of the best Castle minifigs ever, and not to mention the oh-so-awesome bat shield, but in the end, the sets failed in terms of design. lulz :D No, that's the loading screen mini-game. If you look at the bottom of the cannon, there's a play button to reveal the real game. Bluebeard, out-

There's no way that can be right! If it is, then the Troll Fortress is waaaay over-priced, no matter awesome it is. *sigh* It seems I'm gonna have to postpone my army-building plans... Bluebeard, out-

What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
Capt. Bluebeard replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would like to see an Ancient Japan theme. TLC could make a big town set (like the Medieval Market Village) and it could have things like a katana stall, a kabuki theatre, some houses (with the tables where they serve the tea) and a bar. Bluebeard, out- -
Ice, ice, baby! ...sorry, couldn't resist. :P Bluebeard, out-

Some good news: I've found an amazing deal on the Troll Warship, so I'm gonna buy two of those (after selling my Imperial Flagship, of course) as a start. Bluebeard, out-

A HUNDRED?! No, no, no...I was thinking more along the lines of 60 - 65. Ah...now you see, next year I don't plan on buying any new LEGO and I may sell some LEGO too, but I wanted to do this because I've never done a project like this and thought it might be fun to try something new. Don't worry, if by the time I've bought 20 of them I'm sick of it, I'll throw in the towel, but if not, I'll carry on. Bluebeard, out-
