REVIEW: 71005 LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO Simpsons Series
TWP replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
You've done it again! Great review! I do still see some minor spelling mistakes, but that's okay, cause I do that all the time too! You might want to put a bit less "bla bla" in the next review, sometimes I got the "TLDNR" feeling. Pictures are excellent as always! 3-4-5 distribution means that there are of some minifigs 3, some 4 and some 5 in a sealed box.- 118 replies

If that would be the may the 4th promotion, I would be dissatified. I hope for something better, as I do not collect TOR. But I guess my wallet will be happy

Kuat Drive Yards Imperial AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport)
TWP replied to rx79gez8gundam's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I like the design! Good recreation of the details. The interior is a welcome addition too. How big is it, e.g. in comparioson with the official ones? However, I think it is not very sturdy. There seem to be a few weak connections. You may work on that, else it will fall apart in real life. -
I think you've gone too far. I think the general consensus is that staff is not holy, but you can at least respect them. They sacrifice a lot of time keeping the forums clean and nice to read on volunteery basis. Saying to a Mod he is posting off-topic while you were doing all the time, is disrespectfull. About taking the hobby seriously, we all joke minory around sometimes (in-topic), which makes the topics fun too read. If a Mod says we are going to far with a joke (what generally does not happen), we respect that and stop. Keep spamming this topic with off-topic posts is irritating. If I wanted to hear what you would think as a great set, I can look at the "future sets" topic. I hope you will take this advice better from a fellow "normal" Eurobricker, then you did when Brickdoctor corrected you.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
TWP replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I own them all, and I can say you they are all new, except for the battle droid. MF: Han solo new head and pants X-wing: every part in the pilot is new, as is the astromech dome. Tie: the torso and helmet are the same as in the planet set of the tie bomber. He has a new head combination, it's just the stupid looking PT clone head. The pants are printed as the DS BP gunners. ISD: new torso, same pants as DS gunner, same face as DS gunner. CTT: new pants and helmet, torso is same as EPII CT torso. AAT: no changes in the droid. I hope that helps :) -
No problem There are actually quite some MOCcers over there, they should go to EB too! please keep posting on EB if you have made something new, I can't speak a word French (other than oui, non and such basic words and sentences, though following it 3 years on school a long time ago )
-
I still won't be suprised if the whole UCS falcon would be another early April Fools' joke. They've done the same in the past.
-
that does not link to all entries... but I managed to find it myself navigating a bit on that (french) site. thanks anyways, I appreaciate it!
-
This MOC is just great! The ridge uses a very effectfull technique, those bricks and slopes look great arranged like that. The ice, snow, and rocks look very realistic, the wall looks very good too. You've used SNOT where SNOT is needed, studs where studs are needed.
-
Congrats! Your MOC seems better to me then the other one too! However, your link to the other entries don't work, can you fix that please?
-
This one looks very good. It seems accurate enough for all things I can think of! The shape ans proportions are right. It looks definitely better than all models TLG has done of course! Can you tell me how big it is compared to the official version?
-
That's definitely a really nice MOC! Jabba is immeadiately recognicable. The story is a bit vague though
-
Like I said, have patience. I will reply when I feel like it, I mean, when I'm ready with everything. sorry guys
-
Okay, it is quite tricky to reply to everyone. I think I'm starting to feel just a tiny bit how CopMike feels with the EB christmas raffle So I will say this: reply in your PM conversation (do not edit) with: How much you want Your name Your street + number Postal code Town/city/village (state), country It's 9,50 each including postage. max. order is 2 If I get no answer, that means no TC-4 for you I estimate I've got just 16, so first to PM, first in the row if you already have replied stating these data you are okay
-
fixed! You can tell I had read it by looking when I viewed it last time. I meant to send you a PM back when it's all ready.
-
I'll look into that. I am going to decide what I want to do. I think I will at least have the maximum at 2. Still some have not send me a PM yet. I'm not yet in the process of packing all, first I would like to know of many if they still want to use the opportunity.
-
Okay. I got quite many PMs and reply's already, more then I had expected. As I don't really want to buy multiple sets of each, I can say to everyone who posted/send a PM before 11.20 (EB time) that they will get one for the suggested price. If you did replied after that, the price is going up to 8€ total (sorry), that is because I have to buy sets that I already own for full retail price. Prices are now: (99.99% sure) First five: 6 + 1,05 + 0,45 (for the envelop) Rest: 8 + 1,05 + 0,45 if you want to buy a second one, the price will go up with 1,50 each (this to prevent resale, and keep as much as possible for the kids) but for this one you dont pay postage, as they will fit in one pack. All prices in euros Excluding paypal costs of course If you still want one, send a PM stating: How much you want Your name Your street + number Postal code Town/city/village (state), country If one of the first don't want anymore, that means some are lucky! :) Edit: I went out today and got 8 of them already. They've got left, so to satisfy all I may go out another time too.
-
I'm not 100% sure yet, but shipping to anywhere in the world will cost €1,05 Btw. You need to have at least 10 posts before you can sent a PM Edit: ninja'd

Hello all, In my local toy dealer they have an offer for the TC-4. I heard it was quite difficult for people over the world to obtain this anticipated minifig, so I would like to give you the opportunity to obtain one. I was there today, there were still quite some left, but I expect them to disappear soon, as they had a limited availability. I can send a new one to you for just €6 excluding postage. I think sending in europe is easy enough, if you're in the US I think I can send it too, but that can be expensive I think. The polybag fits in a normal envelop. The price equals the retail in the UK, and well under lowest Bricklink value, so I think this is fair. I make no profit of this, I just get some slightly discounted sets. Please reply if you would like to use this opportunity, so I can go and get them the day after tomorrow probalbly. But remember, if you reply and saying you want it, you are "obligated" to buy, as as much I want to help you, I would not appreaciate it if you would cancel the "order" when I already went to the store and got it for you. You can pay with either paypal or a normal transaction. I am not trying to "sell" you something, just help you get the fig! ;).

[MOC] X-wing fighter... in 10188 Death Star Scale (plus LDD of other f
TWP replied to Tereglith's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think all your fighter's look pretty good, I think any kid would want these! It looks a bit different than a TLG set would look like, you still managed to give it your own twist and kept the amount of detailing right However, it's not entirely my cup of tea, I would not understand why one would want to fit a fig in a mini ship, which means the proportions change drastically. -
I must say that's a beautiful fighter! Not sure about those wings going up, that looks a bit strange. It makes the same amount of sense if the wings in the jedi interceptor would go up, because it has hinges. I like it even more than your ARC-135!
