  1. That sticker on the wing of the old one. I hope the new one of mine will not peel off all that fast! BTW I still have to take some pics for you Nom Carver, like I promised.
  2. Pictures please You also could do a review?
  3. That looks cool! It's from the force unleashed, right? I would love to see this in some MOC. If you have the time and money I think everyone would certainly enjoy if you made a TFU rancor with a shaman on top too!
  4. I actually won a prize this year! Yeeha! almost getting emotional here I do not own any iron man yet, so those are quite fun! Thanks again CopMike for organizing this whole thing again!
  5. The one in 2005 had 1669 pieces, so I agree it could be an upgrade at about the same size, considering that part count of other redesigned sets are the last years, and always have been slightly, a bit bigger. I do hope it comes with the Lars' Homestead though!
  6. Good work! It looks nice, even better than the other one!
  7. Thanks for the replies! I'm sorry But I think I understand it now a bit, but still it does not make sense to put them in the user list? Well, don't mind, it is what it is.
  8. Really? Returning Leia's wardrobe? Anyways, This episode looks to be one of the most intersting so far! I hope I will be able to paticipate.
  9. Good work again markus! Absolutily stunning - nothing more to say ;) Too bad that sail barge has not got an interior...
  10. I hope this question was not asked many times before, but if it was, MODs, feel free to merge this topic. When I look at the homepage, looking what members are online, I see this list: Google, TWP, The Executive, noahsdad, Lord Vladivus, obsidianheart, Anio, Kumpelkante, LegoDrake, New_guy, Etzel, Numbuh1Nerd, Bing, LEGO Family, de Gothia, Bison, Endgame, pranas, DanFraser, Cryos, peter_m, ChrisW, Venunder, Tech-nick, Treader, Lyichir, Faefrost, Freddy Bricker, Gunman, Superficial Username, Kintobor, CorneliusMurdock, TheLegoDr, Dafonz187, fhomess, Lockon Stratos, Brickdoctor, Palathadric, Sinner, TheLegoChronicler, MandaloretheLesser, Spiralpad, hooky, DOTM Shockwave, JGW3000, JM1971, Front, Tamamono, DaBCalselycle, williejm, jluckhaupt, tkatt, Cutcobra, olliebojangles, Skalldyr, YippyYoda, Phoxtane, Facebook, The Legonater, ScotNick, bQeqGQCleQ, badbob001, Tyfett, tzotblbriegm, The Penguin, Bregir, zipper778, Admiral-Ackbar, Ludzik, gmshades, UdaQuai, timslegos, JimButcher, Nuju Metru, Kez, commodore_legolas, landoandrews, Haderach, selfshot, VSDwdOrVHa, Mordalak, billyneon, strangely, Scop, Wojtasz78, ShadowWolfHount, Lord LOLrus, Pix, Waterbrick Down, Mephek, Infernum, MSN/Bing, JustinYum, WhiteFang, Garwolak, Super Brick Collector, Error404, Xyver, Lasse D, Kingriedak, TanTile, Scouty, -obelix-, Kalhiki, Mark of Falworth, sologuy369, snaggletooth, Clone O'Patra, Crackerjack, TheBear, TrumpetKing, Deathleech, Darth Caedus, DarkAvenger741, provoaggie, ResIpsaLoquitur, daniel gourhan22, Ecclesiastes, Professor Flitwick, TinyPiesRUs, Sam892, plocageourala, vvETiHkvjK, Wineyard, aurly, charlieboy, VanderleiSilva, Cammo What I wonder, is why Google, Facebook, MSN/bing is among all those other names, what it means and why they are there. If I drag my mouse key over names, except those sites, I can see their profiles.
  11. Can I get a Star Wars fan tag too? my post count in the sw forum is way above 200, and I joined about a year and a month ago, so I meet the requirements
  12. Articulated legs would be great, and I think, one day, they might produce some. Unless they have tall heels
  13. That is true! It always was a pain to twist them to the right way, especially with many battle packs at once. Nowadays, I think all hands are placed the good way in the factory, so we don't have to worry
  14. The falcon was €550. The ISD, not the SSD, was €270 if I remember correctly. However, I doubt TLG will make a set much more expensive then €400, as their designers are always capable of making the set smaller, and thus increasing the amount they sell. An at-at for €750 would be too crazy for me, and I think TLG can make an awesome set also at a lower price point.
  15. Because of the melting poles santa's factory is on the edge of falling into the water. Thanks CopMike for organizing this again!
  16. Just watch the movie, you can't miss it ;)
  17. Thanks for the comments! Thanks! I would have used a bar 3L from the CMF series, but I don't own that in trans-neon, so I cut a 4L. I hope the purists won't mind
  18. That looks good! I like how you made the cockpit with two-sided windows! So the contest is running now on FBTB? We can expect more?
  19. A few months ago I started a MOC for the Hothbricks vignette contest, where the goal was to create a 16x16 (with variable dimensions) vignette of a scene in the Star Wars universe. I planned to make a MOC of the very first scene of TPM (it could actually be the third scene, I don't remember, who watched that movie? ) But I was a few days too late comleting it, so taking pictures took me some more time than usual Here are some of my favorite pics of it: "Master, you were right about one thing: these negotiations were short" - Obi-Wan Kenobi - Some pics without minifigs & all the action I tried to recreate the scene as accurate as possible. everything is there I think, I used reference pics from this site. floor pattern gravity-attached. hinged walls wriction-attached, they sit quite well. For this, I also liked to make a quite symmetrical and not all that awful back those technic liftarms are to keep the bricks between the arches together, they are quite stressed The neck brackets are there to hide the half-stud gabs Droideka: First I wanted to make a realistic design for my droideka, but then I realised there are already some pretty good designs online, I decided to make a more simple design, trying to improve TLG's awful design from the battle packs, while using only parts from that set and common parts. I came up with the left one, I think I did a pretty good job. But when I saw Lars' design, I just had to borrow his technique for the head just for this. More & bigger images in my Flickr I hope you like it just as much as I enjoyed building it! C & C welcome! --if you see some mistakes in my English, I will appreciate it if you would drop me a PM! Then I can edit them. -- comments to improve my photography are also appreciated
  20. Bart Smit has sets reguarly at normal MRSP, so I think that will be the MRSP prices.
  21. I like the speeder, the engine part looks cool! It misses however a bit of the star wars feel, and it looks a bit like a boat. That back is interesting, it gives it again a bit more of a speeder look.
  22. I have some sort of mixed feelings about the gunship, the main reason it being far more larger than I expected, but the figs are good and the overall look looks okay too. I will probalbly get it :) Those microfighters look just like minifig + useful parts, so I might get a few of those too.
  23. A new DK lego star wars visual dictionary: http://booksellers.penguin.com/static/pdf/dk-summer14.pdf
  24. I am almost sure they where not provided with a studio model, and a digital model does not seem logic either, cause all shots with the ISD were done in reality, not with computers. What I do know, is that one of the basic jobs of the SW designers is to look at the movies the whole day long. So they probalbly have all there reference from the movies self, add some extra wishes of LucasArts and maybe look a bit on the Web too. Then they will probalbly look if it is sturdy enough, maybe add a plate or two. Then the designer (or designers, with big sets/UCS) do look if it looks fancy and aestethically appealing. With that, they might change some plates in an other color (e.g. 2005 system ISD: add DBG plates in LBG surface to hide the monocoloring). I think that's basically just it, simplified.
  25. Inside jokes usually don't work with different languages when not everyone speaks that other language. ;) But I think he is poor, because someone else mentioned he was trying to grab a coin from the ground
