  1. Hahaha well I guess you're right. Well it seems then there are two new exclusive's :)
  2. Well I think it's freaking awesome. Sounds a bit childish but that was literally the first thing that crossed my mind. They are keeping to get even more NPU's in these modulars!
  3. Wow! Really great, it looks splendid! I actually don't know what to say, the idea is amazing, and the execution is even better!
  4. Ah well, you've missed nothing special. There's just the rumour a very large set will come out, a UCS, just like every year, and the guess is it contains between 3000-5000 pieces. Rumours are it's a Tie.
  5. Found it on "Marktplaats", the dutch ebay, for that price He is out of stock though.
  6. Saw some good deals for some sets, bought the new AT-AT, the Rancor Pit and twice the Mos Eisley Cantina. for 80+50+2x60 €. quite a good deal in my opinion
  7. By the way, while everyone seems to be ranting about the Geonosis troopers clones saying they are random and made up, they actually did appear in a few Clone Wars episodes on Geonosis, such as Droid factory, Landing at point Ran etcetera. Though as far I can tell those were only the "scout/ARF-helmet troopers". But that's the same with the Kasshyyyk troopers too and I heard nobody complaining about that.
  8. Yes of course, as long as you will not cut/glue elements it should be fine. Go the purist way, then you are safe from Darth Vader accidentally choking you! (I'm not of the SoNE team so I can't guarantee it by 100%, correct me if I'm wrong ;) ) This episode sounds quite interesting by the way, less "dull" then searching for clothing or delivering a thank you note? (No offence, I appreaciate the creativity here )
  9. Ooh well, you forgot the big spoiler alert banner!
  10. Those are the extra pieces; you won't need them in the build. Lego puts in some extra deliberate to make sure everything is included. :)
  11. Good work! As others have said, I think it's rather flat/smooth. And why did you use the clip/plate technique here so predominantly? any special reason? It looks rather nice, I did a quick research and didn't really think that wouldn't be my first choice to do the border. Those Death star halves for the engines is a NPU in my opinion!
  12. I second that :) How long will it take?
  13. What's with all those AT-AT's recently? I wanted to make my own too, but now I think I will not because everybody is making these! Nevertheless, you're making an entirely new one again? I wish you good luck Also, I like that speeder.
  14. Bought the new Advent calender from SW. Had 10€ worth of VIP points so why not? Also got the exo-suit so i could get the toy workshop for free too :)
  15. I think it's really funny that people complain as much about others complaining!
  16. +1 for Ecclesiastes. Great trade, mostly I got a fast reply.
  17. @clonebricks: in the cheaper buckets were different parts, that's why it was cheaper. @Wout: thanks for the pics, didn't make any of my display so I'm glad you got half of it on flickr Will you leave them there for long? else I'm going to download them sooner.
  18. Really nice job on the cantina. I especially like that you have it able to fold up, just as the actual set. What did you do to your pictures by the way? They look like they are very quickly sloppy photoshopped. It is okay to show the cloth beneath, I'd rather have that then some cut off bricks. That's why I like your last picture best.
  19. Were have the pictures of this and your part 2 gone? They don't show up anymore.
  20. It's a minifig from the umbaran HMC, that set has been around for some years now :) No big deal - anyone could have thought that. after all, it's a cool minifig edit: I just derped. it's MHC , 75013 to be specific
  21. Very nice micro landshape! It seems really natural, well done!
  22. Great build Goatman! I really like that small AT-ST and those Mechs are done just perfect!
  23. I think I saw it too. It's very great. I may even have met you in person but I don't know who you are. Yes, there are other LW-like events (much smaller, more for afols, less for kids) organized by the dutch LUG. E.g. Goes and hardenberg clubdagen
  24. This years goodiebag is really good with respect to the polybag, well if you're lucky. I got 4 lake town guard from hobbit out of 7 on different days. Bring your most crap minifigs ;) it doesn't even need to be CMF, everything is fine :) Btw, there are also (SW) minifigs in the loose parts buckets. just be first each day and look closely :)
  25. Hello guys, I actually managed to see and touch this set in person so I like to share some info with you :) (sadly, no pics, I didn't had my camera on me :( ) At the Lego event where I was exhibitor, there was a special AFOL evening and KimT himself (he was there from TLG for the event, also a good friend from EB ;) ) showed us some new unreleased sets, one of which, for the first time in europe, the UCS slave one! It was really enthiousiastic about this set. ever since the name got leaked, and after the images too, I really wanted it as it's my favorite SW set. Spoiler alert: I still want it :) So when we were invited to look at them, I of course walked straight to the Slave. It felt great the first moment I touched it. It was fiddly to open the side hatches with the canons, but that's forgiven. Then I lifted it from the stand.... and it already fel apart. Minifigs: They were actually great! they had the full boba too. Han - actually he was still in the ship, but I got him and the carbonite out... eventually. quite nice basic figure. New face, rest the same. no backprint, no redesigned carbonite. Stormtrooper - just the same as in the ISD. I had not seen that one in the flesh though, it's a great fig. Cloud city guard - many thought of it as the star of the set. I don't see why. Don't get me wrong, it's really a great minifig. Boba is just so nice . has backprint, no armprint anymore sadly. Boba - like it hinted at, the star of the set minifig wise. He is ALL redesigned, saved for his helmet and jetpack. Yes, you heared it right - new torso, legs, arms, head, cape. The cape has actually a print and is in two colors. Looks really cool and accurate. You might not have known - he has backprinting too! back is just great, but even the front of the torso is redesigned. In my opinion he does not suffer from over detail we got lately figs wise. The face is new. I don't know if it was still the placeholder, but I have never seen the print before. It was sort of the standard movie clone face - but - with a different, better smirk, more happily and an extra scar. Makes sense a bit. I'll continue later, if you can wait about: Set look from the outside, inside, stability, swooshability, displaybility, play features and conclusion. (Btw, KimT, if you read this (I'm pretty sure you do), I try not to be too negative about this set (it is great, but has big downsides too), it was great you brought it, sorry for breaking it a bit on the first 10 seconds, and thank you for the event again! ) I actually did not recognised you at first, only realised it was you from EB on the way back home :)
