  1. I see some good things in that final duel set! those windows are just great, the new luke is cool, and also it seems the shaft is printed/stickered! The new vader helmet does look ugly from that angle though. Could anyone tell me if that Palpatine fig is the same as in the book?
  2. AT-AT is a far better choice in my opinion: You get a far better and completer set (the sail bar misses a skiff), the build is a great deal better, and of course, as mentioned above you need at least one AT-AT
  3. Buyed quite a few sets lately. The best of which I think is the AT-AP. I think it's a great build, the end result looks great and the minifigs are just beatifull! Also bought Corporate Alliance tank droid (my second, but was in the superpack), Kashyyyk troopers BP, Utapau troopers BP, X-wing microfigher, Tie Interceptor microfighter. The last few just to stack on minifigs
  4. It's a good deal, but if I were you I would wait, since the new ones look much better IMO.
  5. Well, Wow! great MOC, didn't expect this. I always thought this was a strange vehicle, but you've recreated it very nicely, I can't see any flaws!
  6. Great improvement! Looks a lot more MOCish instead of keeping more to the simple TLG design standards.
  7. Picked up the latest B-wing, Homing spider droid, Droid-tri fighter and Death Star troopers BP, all for really nice prices. Paid just €100, all sealed sets. I must say, that B-wing is a great set, it feels like very goog value for money. The rest is good too. Though there was a big crack in the torso of the Palpi fig, so I will ask a replacement piece soon.
  8. I know, but we wouldn't anyways this episode. Next one we'll rock! Everyone onboard?
  9. You son of a b*tch  That is actually quite a good way of hiding texts! Nice find! This is quite OP! "
  10. I second this. In having not that much time, only having completed my present scene, I thought it was not worth it to produce a past build that had not that much decent quality. Then the max points I could have had for the present scene is 4, while posting it as a freebuild would yield a maximum of 5. And I didn't like building a bad quality built just to be able to participate. If I would had known, I would have made at least a lesser, but sufficient quality build for the past scene (As chances were high having points doubled). So now I decided to make my present scene a freebuild. But as you said you forgot/overlooked to say that or make the scoring clearer, it's not your fault. I would appreaciate it if next time you double-checked
  11. Another windscreen piece that might work is the 8x3x2 wedge open piece (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=41750). Of course connected on a SNOT way.
  12. http://www.eurobrick...hl=shadow&st=25 see post #30 - #32 No, it's not real SW, sums it up
  13. Great work! Looks very accurate and also built to Lego's UCS standard in my opinion It also has just the right stud balance. As for the windscreen, that might be not the most ideal way, but it looks suprisingly good!
  14. As I already said on Lego World, I think you've made a really good build representing an already very good design in ToR. I have to say it looks more impressive in real life, though.
  15. Wait a moment... You're stalking BEAVeR? Looks like he did... BEAVeR strikes again!
  16. Pretty nice builds. NPU strikes again!
  17. No problem, I'm always glad to help Interesting fact, I do not even own the set! Well I guess when I build it I'll take extra attention to that part of the build ;)
  18. I think I might know your problem. Look at the first picture of the building on brickset, does it look exactly the same? You might have messed up with this part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30000 , this can be easily overlooked.
  19. Good job on the hangar! Looks really Empire-like. The patterns are done very good I also like the ship, but that windscreen solution you used is a bit less smooth then I would've liked. That's just stacked plates in a vertical position, I assume.
  20. I always love long hallways made of Lego, and this one is no exception! great work!
  21. (Quote from Avenger topic) Comment quantity says nothing about quality of the MOC. And I think there are still a few comments to come. Besides, you've made really good builds IMHO.
  22. Great builds, especially the first!! I just love how you made those stairs. The cell block is nicely and realisticly designed too. The middle part looks a bit more messy, that could have used a bit more work by making it more uniform.
  23. Yeah, it's completely made up. That's ashame, as I'm sure they could have come up with something that does.
  24. I cannot really say something now about your design, cause the LDD images are not very good. On first sight, it does seem like an accurate design. I can say though that those legs won't hold at all, when you've build it IRL it will immeadiatly collapse. I suggest you look into stability, before having some nasty suprises after you've made your parts order
  25. It's possible, but to me not worth the effort, as it has me wondering why one would want to do that. Firstly, you need to replace all 1x2 clips to 1x1 clips, which makes the cockpit opening and flaps moving really unstable. Then all pieces under there needs to be replaced, and you have to come up with a way to still rotate the wings simulaneously, as the connecting axle sits in the wrong place. So you need to work around that with gears. So in the end, you have a V-wing that has big gears on the outside, a cockpit that does open but will fall of, and all kind of gabs next to the astromech. Also, you lose a bunch of otherwise very usefull pieces.
