  1. The cockpit actually does rotate fully 90 degree and maybe something more, if I remember correctly. You just have to adjust it manually, it will not automate though gravity like the wings tend to do.
  2. First of all, I appreaciate your effort to post some kind of diorama on EB. But then, I'll just say it: That's just some stock clones put on the stock Sail Barge on a green baseplate. I don't know what to think of this. Is it a MOC? It doesn't even look like if you changed or altered the original set at all. And you say fun, hmm well that's a lot of pictures for showing the same thing. What I think others, including me, would prefer much more, is some originality, in the sense of you taking the effort to create something new creatively. It does not have to be perfect, no ones first MOC is, but it will show that you've taken the time to build something made up by yourself. I know making pictures and a video can take a lot of time too, you did do a fine job on that.
  3. Of what I can remember when holding it, there was not much useful interior. Next to Boba's seat is some space to store weapons and some other stuff, his chair is larger then in the system versions too, but there's not more than 1.5 studs space on either end of the four stud wide cockpit. Then in it's belly, behind the door where you can put the carbonite there is actually quite much (open) space, but this has no details in it. Modding this place is quite hard, cause there are a lot of critical technic beams and elements in there that you need to go through in order to access it normally. Removing that is not wise, cause it'll fall apart. So the space there is quite useless, only to store big objects that fit through the back door and you will lose in its innards afterwards. (like carbonites) in, small pieces will go through the open bottom. To be sure, one could better wait after it is reviewed in depth, owned, or when you've looked though the instruction's manual.

    Star Wars

Hey guys, I wondered why this has not been posted before, but Disney seems to have put an other trailer on their own youtube! You can check it out here. This gives an entirely different view on the movie of what I would have expected from the other trailer ;)
  5. Looks great! Has more of a Rebel feel than the other ITT's I've seen. It still feels a bit narrow, but for the rest everything is there what you need, overall good job!
  6. If I remember correctly that scene was to take place a while after the defeat of the empire at Endor, but illustrated in ROTJ either way. I might be incorrect though
  7. Oh well that makes much more sense! Upside down, of course! thanks Ashame that the pilot's name was not on there or something like that.

    Star Wars

Wow! that one is just... hilarious!
  9. Is there an expert Aurebesh reader somewhere over here? The X-wing's pilot's clothing contains some letters, I can read: zRFet RRUq... But that makes no sense at all
  10. I still think it's strange, but it will probalbly make sense after seeing the movie. After watching the teasor for about 50+ times I kinda got used to the voice, but still IMO I think they could have done better. I did see all the changes on the X-wings, and yes I've seen that picture, and I see the Tie's have changed from black-gray to gray-black in the trailer, but it still seems too much recycling to me. And I know that it is McQuarrie reproduction, but why do they have to resemble McQuarrie art in the first place? - Rebels did use all kind of McQuarry designs, why EP VII too? Why didn't they just made entirely new designs? There are other ways to create the SW feeling in stead of using only SW ships. I mean 30 years... That seems enough time to make all kinds of new ships for both rebellion and empire. It needs to feel like a new chapter in the SW era, not 2 years later or something like that. "The Force AWAKENS" seems like a entirely new time has come, with most of the force (and so old times) forgotten, so why keep the same ships? (okay, the force may have been forgotten already in EPIV) I think if Lucas made the movie, there wouldn't be that much of the old designs and McQuarry stuff in both Rebels and EPVII. It seems like now that he's gone from Lucasarts, that the team lost the ideas and inspiration and just recycles old stuff to be sure everything looks SW-y like it came from the same age as the original trilogy. I hope the movie gives a good explanation for all of this, and then we'll see if all of it makes sense.
  11. Nice MOC! looks like the perfect SW Rebels shelf display.
  12. Nice detail! Didn't even spot that one in the trailer! Remember Lando hitting the sattelite dish against the innards of the death star in the return of the jedi? First of all, welcome to EB! I think the odds are higher you've made a mistake somewhere in the build, considering you got your first SW set since years. Extra pieces are normal though! I think it's rather strange they did change the stormtroopers, but did keep the X-wings and Tie Fighters. I may have expected some new technology in the year between, like E-wings or fighters that are looking mint, and for the Empire they had all kind off Tie Interceptors which were a ton better, and I think the average Tie pilot would have liked a hyperdrive on his ship! BTW: Am I the only one who thinks that voice-over is irritating? -"have you felt it?"- not to speak about that stormie without helmet.
  13. Thanks CopMike for organizing this again! My small build, a little part of a house in the winter. It portraits me with what I would be happy with for christmas: the LSW Ewok Village! :)
  14. Look at them! they are actually really REALLY close to the originals! (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/16897) They look quite nice, also a good parts assortiment. No buy for me though, I've got other things higher on my list
  15. Nice work! If I had the money, I would do this to my (soon to be bought ) Ewok Village too! It's definetely an improvement, They feel more like tall trees instead of that low treehouse in the set.
  16. Well I don't think there will be a UCS falcon for the new movie. That would make no sense, as they will make more profit using the iconic vehicle for a system base set that childfans with a limited budget can buy. If they would have both sitting on the shelf at the same time... well that will be, not good for both their sales!
  17. Pretty darn awesome! And it even has great little details too! I quite like this beast!
  18. Yes I've seen it in the flesh, and held it, swooshed it in the flesh don't remember it being that big though!
  19. Well, I was building for the X-mas raffle, then I got it to big, too detailed and too pretty with much nice techniques, and it looked a bit too much like star wars.... So I transformed it entirely to a SW build Guess like I will have to participate in this episode then

    [MOC] AT-ST

Great model Beaver! Nice that you try some SW vehicles not in the setting of Sone too. I really like your great part usage again, very much NPU and details seem well thought out. For the whole model, the presentation is awesome, and I like the little ewok glider too! But to me someting looks off or strang in the model from some angles. Maybe it's the source material, maybe not. From many off the angles it looks really good though but still with a few less beatiful angles. For example, that first picture, that angle, the AT-ST looks just a bit blocky. Head seems too small, legs to wide from each other. When I imagine these dimensions corrected to what I can remember from the movies, I can see a very beatifull AT-ST. Maybe a few "harsh" points, I hope that you don't take it to personally, but you seem to me to be the person who can react to this professionally . Nevertheless, I really respect the time and effort you put in this to make a fantastically detailed model. As they say in dutch, "De beste stuurlui staan aan wal", so I guess I must make one first myself to be able to really give a good opinion on your creation.
  21. Congrats! Well deserved! (Well, probalbly... didn't see the other entries )
  22. ^Yes Admiral ozzel, I know. But has that face ever appeared in Lego? To which minifig?
  23. Good work on the CTT! You've build a good overall design, with enough attention to detail. I do however have two points I do not like that much, those are that the weels are apart too much, in the movie they look like having less space between them, in your MOC the result is a few "awkward" gabs. Also, the proportions do not seem entirely correct; it seems to be to long for its width. It gives it a bit to much of the train look in my opinion. These are both points regarding movie-accuracy, I hope I don't come over too rude, cause overall I think you've done a great job. Especially the swampspeeder is spot-on!
  24. no it's the same as others have said. But who's face is that at 0.19?
  25. DarthTwoShedsJackson, your images seem to have been taken down. That's really ashame, is there a way to fix this? (you might rehost them on Flickr, because else you seem to have to pay?)
