  9. If you would know the whole story, all of your questions would solve themselves. But well I gonna answer them for you. - Retreat is no option, the Lenfel (dark green) are brave warriors. They dont have losses and they dont take flight. Maybe because these are supposed to be my knights. I am the one standing in the middle of the dark green knights. - The Garhim (dark blue, viking) are off to war themselves. It is just a lucky coincidence that my character was in the lands of Garheim. Long story... - That is a really good idea. Maybe I will do that in an other MOC, this time I wanted to show a missive amount on troops on a small beach. But I will come back to that.
  10. Thanks for your motivating comments ! I am glad you like it, even if it is a little bit bloody. These are D-Day inspired. I was looking at these allied landing ships in some WW-II-MOCs, and then I thought about making that medieval. First I had some difficulties to make them look like I wanted, but finally I think they turned out well, looking better in real life than on the picture. Gonna use some once more I think.
  11. This is my entry to the 4th Global Challenge at LCC. My objective was to rebuild Deviet's Fort Vharenfell Fort Vharenfell is getting attacked by the Loreesi, and Paul von Brickenstein is defending it, to help the Garhim allies. C&C welcome !
  12. Thanks a lot for your comments !
  13. After more than a month of building a finished my ship trilogy, that is actually based on five MOCs. I have build this to finish some tasks for my merchant career at LCC. But now let the stroy begin: Prologue: The military confontation seems to be not that near yet. That's why Paul von Brickenstein decided to travel back home, for recruiting new troops. But it is not enough gold available to pay and arm the soldiers. So he got the idea of becoming a merchant to eran some money with trading. Fortunately his friend Fangulf owns a little trading fleet. Paul von Brickenstein visits him, to talk about his business plans. After a long talk about the old times and adventures, and of course a bottle of wine, they come to an agreement. The merchant career is goung to start soon... Chapter 1: The two friends are heading to the harbour, and Paul von Brickenstein is totally impressed about the merchant ship they are going to travel with. A massive hulk, made out of the unbelievable solid wood of Oaks that have been chopped in the Wandering Woods. Luxuries sails, manufactured in the weaving mills of Dragonsmouth. Completed with fresh painted faction colours on it. They set sail to the north. A customer in the lands of Garheim is waiting to get his goods. The big deal is just some miles away... Chapter 2: A couple of days later Fangulf and Paul are reaching southern Garheim. The signal fire of the small town Thorinstor could be seen from far away. Arriving at the harbor, they start to unload the ship quickly. The Garhim are preparing for war, so they really need the shipped goods. But also Paul von Brickensteins time is valuable, he needs to get to northern Garheim fast, some weapons are waiting to get picked up. Will he be fast enough to come back home, defending Lenfald with his fellows ? Chapter 3: Time is running out, so the men are heading to the north under full sail. But in the middle of the icy sea of Garheim it happened. Fangulf missed an iceberg, the ship was colliding with it. The hull bursts, and water is running into the ship rapidly. The pure power of the ice has broken the ship into two parts and it is beginning to sink to the bottom of the sea. Paul von Brickenstein could jump on an ice floe, but Fangulf is nearly drowning in the cold water... Epilogue: Fangulf finally could be saved from the cold sea, and after a couple of hours sitting and freezing suddenly a little fisher boat appeared. The friendly Garhim want to help our shipwrecked fellows. They say they are bringing them to the nearest castle: Fort Vharenfell.
  14. Thats a really awesome build. The best Golden Hall I have seen so far. Especially like these photoshopped effects. The viking snake pattern tile is in good use here, and you captured the important scenes very well.
  15. This set is so awesome, I am definitely going to buy at least one. The Ent is not that good, but the exclusive figs are a must have !
  16. I thought GoH was about building and not about posthunting ???
  17. Awesome as always. You got superb foliage and trees !!!
  18. This is a really cool build, especially because its your first attempt at medieval scenery. There are lots of details, that's how Castle should be done ! Great buidling, wagon and foliage. Also I like the Queen Fig.
  19. That is an excellent idea, and also well built.
  20. No you didnt, sure I will be building some stuff for Avalonia sometimes. Thinking about an Eleven-Tower in two month.
  21. Thanks a lot for your comments !!! Good idea, I love Age of Empires. Sometimes I will do another project like this, then I try to get my inspiration by AoE.
  22. No, this was built up on one moc. I just switched some parts. But actually it was more work than I thought it would be, to let it look that accurat every time.
  23. Thanks a lot for your comments, always a pleasure to show you some buildings. I actually joined Avalonia. BUT 1. Nobody ever reacted to my signup 2. I dont see anything really cool going on besides Challenge VI at GoH 3. There is a lot of spam in the guild thread And thats why I haven't build something so far, maybe I will join after the Revolword Saga The Font is downloaded from Urbanfonts
  24. You're everywhere encountered here I can also say - absolutely amazing build ! I love the colour sheme.
