Boomingham passes the cloak to the sorcerer. "Be careful with that." He glances at the map, and his eyes light up happily. He turns to Sarge. "I'll meet you folks on the beach for drinks tonight, sound good? I've got a little something I'd like to take a look at myself."

Pelly's Paradise: Conclusion: An End to Effort
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Great game Def! I had a blast. Sorry about my screw up that one night - it was more indicative of an unexpected twist in real life than my appreciation of the game, I really did have a good time. Well played to everyone. -

"I don't like slowing things down either, but we need to dodge from place to place. There are over a hundred guards still in the compound, and Bernard and Simon are somewhere too. The garden is towards the gate as well... though..." he glances at Yu Shu, then at Pretzel. "Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Kiray, follow me." Kiray, Avery and Yu Shu stumble down the hallway, following Samuel and Pretzel. "Poison is a coward's weapon," murmurs Yu Shu angrily. The heroes move swiftly, dodging down corridors and avoiding the sound of clomping feet. They eventually pass through an archway to a small leafy grassy area. Moonlight spills through numerous slits in the ceiling. Samuel leans Pretzel against a wall, panting. "Thank Ennoc." The sound of armor rattling against armor draws everyone's attention to the other side of the garden. Samuel glances over, eyes wide with fear. "Samuel, is that you? What's happening out there?" The knight squints in the dark moonlight. "Who've you got there with you?"- 607 replies

Boomingham glances after Zarissa as she disappears into the building. He had been hoping to ask her honest opinion about who might the best Eldest Sister, but she was already inside. He shrugs and turns to the Nord. "I'll grab a drink with you and peg leg. I need to celebrate getting off that damned boat and settle my stomach a little. Pretty boy can go climb the tower if he wants." He turns to Heckz. "See the palace tomorrow. I'd like to accompany you to that.

Pelly's Paradise Day Five: Six Little Indians
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Not flailing. I didn't go for a Brick lynch, Dave, because that'd be stupid (in my opinion). I stick by that. I was just pointing out that his logic is not as irrefutable as he likes to pretend. And yes, I am worried. This day is coming to a close, and could be a victory for the town or scum potentially. I only know for a fact one confirmed town... which is me. I know if I die and the scum kill tonight, it is very possible that the town will lose tomorrow morning. So yes, I'm worried. Look even at the lack of conversation! What's happening? Is everyone just okay with letting the day and game fizzle out? -
Pelly's Paradise Day Five: Six Little Indians
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Cleared as town? I believe 'not scum' is what you're saying. This is the intentional blindness I'm talking about, and that is so bothering me leading into what could possibly be our last day. DD told you to kill MT? In the same way that Brick gave us Tammo? How does that clear one and not the other? I am still incredibly miffed that Brick chose to clear the dead dragonfire instead of me - this whole song and dance is so tiresome to me, and it really makes me bummed that the town is going to lose off of people's laziness. Brick not following through on that. Lego Spy coasting since being apparently cleared. No one is willing to actually pay attention to what anyone else is actually doing. We know Brick has consistently lied in PMs and that Lego Spy ignores the days and still I'm the lynch for reasons no one has yet to articulate to me. -
Boomingham tucks his new song into his pouch. "Got quite a few ladies that might go to." He rummages around a little as he nods at the Nord's endorsement of the one legged man. "I've only the one bottle left, chap. Treat it well... and don't think you'll get away with not sharing it just because you need it more than us." He uncorks his final bottle of booze and passes it to Sarge but not before taking a sip himself. "Looking to see what a man who can get the job done right looks like, boy-o?" Boomingham chuckles and claps Heckz on the shoulder. "You'll get it next time. Have a bit of booze. It will take the edge off until we land. You folks could use that."

Who is the 'we'? You, jluck and DD? How can you be so sure of any of them? How can you possibly be sure of any of them? Of the players left alive the only honestly town playing I've seen so far has been from Brick and possibly you. DD, Jluck, and Lego Spy have done absolutely nothing to convince me of their town credentials. This is a pivotal day and I think you're allowing yourself to be blinded. -

"I'm dying, not dead. I can walk," snarls Yu Shu. She takes a step forward, and Avery braces her. The were-lion grimaces. "Apologies. I knew my brother was a traitor, but taking his life was not easy, even with months to prepare myself. And the poison isn't helping." Samuel quickly heals Pretzel and helps him to the door. "You two are in no condition to fight. We need to make small steps. There is a quiet place near here, a garden in the compound. They will not think to look for us there, and there are some herbs that might slow the poison." Samuel slings Pretzel's arm over his shoulder. He hisses to Kiray as quietly as he can, his eyes on Yu Shu who's own eyes are wide and watery. "Help the assassin support her. Can you help me lead? We cannot be here when soldiers come, and they will come shortly, I'm sure."- 607 replies

Pelly's Paradise Day Five: Six Little Indians
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh, wonderful, sure it's based on a lot of good reasoning in that case. This is a sad case of the blind leading the blind. Surely members of the town cannot be this lazy this close to the wire. You're just going to vote without even bothering to hear whats been discussed? -
Pelly's Paradise Day Five: Six Little Indians
Zepher replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I am happy to Vote: Jluck (Jluck). I feel that he has been doing a classic scum move - pushing a lynch that he himself didn't come up with, and then when it goes poorly he can simply say he was "following through". To be honest, I'd love to hear an actual case against me. We've been kicking around the Tammo thing a lot, sure, but that was Day 3 and I've already talked about it... but no one has brought anything even close to a real accusation since then. -

What defense? It's an explanation, sure. But no defense, because I don't think my choice needs one. What would you have preferred I picked? The cowl? The shag? -
Boomingham glances at Eric's bloody hand and after a moment of consideration he offers the Nord his hand. "That was well fought, my friend. Not that I had any doubts, but it's good to know that we've got at least two people aboard who can fight." He glances at Peri and Zarissa. "Alright, four." And then he chuckles.

To be honest - and it may seem like a stupid reason this late into the game - I chose my own costume because it was my own costume. And I didn't want to steal anything from the confirmed town that was super important, since even though I'd really like to be I still haven't been cleared yet. -

Vote: Lind Whisperer (Lind Whisperer) I can't tell what the hell to think of Brick's sting. It seems like something that no one would fall for, but also it seems like Lind fell for it. I would think he was the best lynch candidate today regardless. Bob, I understand even less how you think that Lind and Brick are both scum. Assuming they are both scum, what is possibly the benefit of this ploy? -
"You got a little something in your teeth," chuckles Boomingham. "I think it's a feather or two." "My plan is to cut down these pretty ladies. Show the boy-o how it's done." Boomingham lunges at Temptress C with his Frozen Saber from the front row "War sometimes comes down to the numbers game. I've marched a troop of twenty men across a field filled with three hundred enemies and made it through without losing a single soldier, but it would have been an easier trek if there'd only been one chap blocking our path. We need to kill the little ladies before taking on the big birdie." OoC: I think we need to (and should) dispatch of the other sirens before trying to really take Sterope on. That way Peri and I can heal you as you fight her. With any luck we'll be able to take out two sirens this turn, or I may get a guardian angel (targeting a jinxed siren). So my suggestion is: Boomingham v. Temptress C Eric v. Sterope Peri heals Eric if injured, if not Boomingham Eric v. Temptress A No Free Hits, Temptress D stunned
