OoC: Everyone who ate a cookie, I advise you note it somewhere on your Hero Statistics Page, just so you know for the future where that extra stuff came from and you don't get it taken away by accident at some point. I find it easier, personally, but it's just a suggestion, and by no means required! For example, you in particular should include it Cronk, because +power is often times lost in the shuffle when I and others run critical hits, where it should be added into your level as far as calculations go, but without it noted anywhere we have no possible way of remembering... Hans claps Thothwick and Skrall on the back. "There's a great many things in this life I've not enjoyed. Fighting alongside you folks ain't one of them." "Lead the way, Cronk. We may be walking to our deaths, but I plan to give a good fight first, at least. There are no people I would prefer to die with, or, in more hopeful terms, live alongside." I think some of it may be that Sandy used to address heroes more as those characters. The game has grown so large it is hard to do now, but if you read early posts Schezerade would interject from time to time, and shop keepers would make commentary on some of their patrons. They no longer do this, and understandably so, though I do miss it.

Some names: Wren is from the bird and also probably from Catch-22 unintetionally. Doc Daneeka is from Catch-22 intentionally. Guffington is a play on The Great Gatsby, with "ington" at the end because I always use that to make people rich. Felton is from Tom Felton (who know's why?!) Hans from Hans Landa (again, related approximately 0% to the character his name was ripped from), Poletad for obvious reasons- U'Vires and U'Stus are from latin, deriving from truth and justice respectively, Sphinx was summoning the Chimera, XX came from me using that as a filler when planning the quest, and then keeping it, Triad and Bal were both last minute decisions (Triad named after the park, Bal after Bail Organa)... I don't know what else. Haddon is from Captain Haddock in the Tintin comics... Vipera is also latin, though I don't remember exactly what names I mashed up for it- same goes for Triad's species, that's like three latin words jumbled up... So, from all over really! EDIT: I think I've mentioned it before, Vonnetate is named after Vonnegut, who again bears approximately 0 similarities with the character. I could thing of more. Pigley is named after a throw-away line from the show Archer. Russel... I don't quite recall, but he's a reference to something too. McColt just sounded gruff to me. You can see I engage in a huge amount of different medias.

I do it the same way as Flipz and BD, so I agree that I repeat isn't quite as useful, but with Flipz compiling things... I can't really complain. That being said, Flipz, the battles you've helped condense/run are much more complicated than most battles, so in most cases repeats are fine.

From the way that you've spoken about Stirlance, he's always seemed sort of dead to me, as if he was a great playwright of the last generation (the tome of his plays just seems like it would HAVE to come out after his death, because most people just don't have that great of success while they're alive ). More elemental enemies is a necessity. I am going to include them in all of my future quests in great numbers, aka whenever it makes even somewhat logical sense. Sandy, I have a few questions for you while planning my next quest. You've talked about Stirlance twice now. Do you have any plans for him? I think both of my two next quests are going to be a lot of fun and VERY zany. I'm super excited for them, though I'm taking a few months off before launching them.

Would induction into the masons remove a player's ability to be inducted into the scum? I too am wrestling with time commitment. I really want to play... but I'd hate to not be an asset to any team. Is there a way I could be a SK again.....
