  4. Yes, I think at this point in the game everyone understand how parties function together. Rogues don't need to hand out gold, that would be unfair, but I think they do understand that they fill the spot in the party of buying consumables and phoenix essences, just like we now realize that the knights should, in general, carry said essences, and scrolls should go to whoever can best use them, etc. I think he's just teasing, because Sandy was (appropriately, considering how fast -paced we would be in character) particularly stringent about this rule in 66.

  12. Agreed, Hall has been lovely lately. I love Guts and Hybros being friends. Nyx will be a good addition if they become friends too. Wish I could have stuck around as well. JimBee, we REALLY have to quest together at some point again. Also, is it just me, or is Guts going down a dark road. He's always been harsh and dismissive... but... I like it, but even so.

Also, just caught up in the Hall, and I gotta say that it's little moments like this that make me love the roleplayers in this game: I don't know why, but that line is perfectly sad to me. She denies her love of XX to Arthur, to Boomingham, to her (brother) Atramor... but she admits it to a stranger. Something about it. I don't know. Perfect for her character. Also, JimBee, I don't know if I've mentioned it ever, but Hybros' laugh is one of the best, most consistent and most defining character choices anyone has made over the course of the game. I think it is the thing that best encapsulates his character... and he is one of my favorite characters in the game. :thumbup:

ALSO: if Docken happens to come on Guffington II, there will be NO commentary on his lack of roleplaying, or commentary on his role playing if he chooses to do it. I mean, not actually, I can't actually police that, but it does bother me that he gets so much commentary on how he plays the game. I feel like sometimes we shoe-horn him into "not role playing" aka, he's got such a reputation for it, he feels obligated to adhere specifically to people's expectations. You know what I'm saying? Finally, no where in the Guffington pitch does it say you guys get to sign up as a party, or choose your own party leader.   20. The most central conflict is capitalism v. communism though. Wolfgang is pure communist. They even have a manifesto with a rule against discrimination. Everyone should be equal. That's communism. The Houses are, on the other hand, pure Capitalism. Total laissez-faire, total Hobbes, no support for anyone. Characters siding between them are making that choice, and so the most important character trait many people pick is their economical view, though they don't realize it.
