  1. I would like to proceed that way if everyone else is alright with it. If we absolutely NEED to backtrack when Endgame gets back... well, that'd just be done, but I really hope that's not the case. He's totally stranded us, so I can't say I honestly feel too guilty.
  2. It's a question of when they get all defensive. If serious heat starts to come down on a Oak, then they need to start to start to defend themselves, of course. If every time someone points out something slightly suspect you pounce on them, that starts to look like you've got something to hide. I'm also surprised, but I personally had totally forgotten about the claim. It's certainly something to keep an eye on. Not easy to assess either way right now. Accusing you is suspect?! Why? How? Oh we can all go to extremes. Why not have all the power roles post in the thread right now? That would be more information!! Oh, is that not what you were saying? Obviously not, just as I was obviously not suggesting that the host stop revealing allegiances. You keep ridiculing the subject because clearly you're afraid of us actually discussing what you're suggesting. You are playing a very silly game, fellow tree! It must be very easy to continue to continously demand work out of others!
  3. I doubt EVERY lynch would be janitored (or at the very least hope not). Then we'd have nearly nothing to go on, excluding power roles, which doesn't allow for simple vanilla oaks to do much of anything. I was just suggesting they might have the ability to janitor more people than they normally get the chance to. And even that is just a guess as to how they might be balanced if they have been balanced.
  4. Yeah, maybe we could get a rotation of QMs. I know no one wants to commit, and it's a very complicated battle as it is, but I think it's at least almost near over... I don't know. Hopefully our frustration does not seem irrational.
  5. We're sorry to bring this up in public, but we can't contact Endgame about it. Quest 105 has been in the same battle for a month. Even assuming Endgame lost his power, that was two weeks ago now. I don't think power went out that long for anyone else in that storm... We don't want to bail on the quest. But we do want to finish it swiftly. Is there a way someone else would be willing to run this final battle so that when Endgame returns we can just post a conclusion?
  6. What an absolutely lovely and sunny day! Hello there little stumps! I'm sorry that not as much sun reaches down there, but it's certainly better than no sun at all! This is a weird weird weird set of options! In both 1 and 2 there's no explanation of the second kill (I assume a neutral is what you're hinting at) and then 3 totally and with equally little evidence dismisses the possibility of a neutral totally! Maple! You only back tracked on this once it was pointed out that it was already decided that it was a very maple-y thing to say, and then once it became clear that maybe it wasn't a Maple thing to say, you pushed for it again! This whole thing pinged me. It would make you look bad if he flipped oak, so he must be maple, therefore making you look good? That's weak reasoning. And "people were starting to have doubts at the end" would be a very good reason to janitor him if he WAS an oak. In my opinion, you are not reasoning anything out, simply picking one answer and then insisting that it makes you less suspect. The more the town knows in open, the more the maples know in open. If they reveal there is no protector, then the maples can kill with ease. No watcher? Then the maples can target anyone. Even your ludicrous suggestion that revealing that our investigator has died does little to help. The maples will then KNOW that we can't know with any certainty who is maple or oak. Trust our fellow trees, who have turned up oak already?! Ludicrous!! No, I'm just kidding, thank you for being intelligent! I hope you like the sun and we can share it together, you seem like a smart dude! No. Simon is playing a very maple-y game as well. He is spending a lot of time defending himself. Oaks don't have to do that. Either way, I agree that there are likely already "factions" within the oaks, and that certain trees and their prickly ways are not helping that. I also think that we may want to consider a relatively powerful scum team. Simon pointed out that the stumps (even in their current form) are very helpful to the oaks. So I think we should assume that the maples have got some good ol' fashion heavy fire power as well. For example, the janitor may be able to act a lot, or often, than a normal janitor. Or maybe they can kill twice a night (not one I personally believe...). I'm just surprised no one has thrown this out there so far. If there are stumps in this game, then our assumptions of what the maples are capable of should be at least a little modified, in this tree's opinion. Thoughts?
  7. You can duel him for it when he next appears.
  8. Someone's excited. Was 88 the last time I hosted you? Might be able to make that quest up to you. And, my normal promotional tool, characters will be re-appearing from Quest: 68, 72, 78, 84, 92, 102, 107, 123. So, if anyone loved any NPCs on those quests and want to catch up with them, now is your chance.
  9. "Yo, I'm straight up not hitting anything, bro!" Bobby tries again, punching the air in disappointment in himself.
  10. Sounds like a good plan, though I won't force anyone to go Paladin. Thanks Scuba (and sorry for the trouble Sandy).
  11. Yeah but I don't know if they'll pack enough of a punch. Two options: -Open to all original knights and clerics -Open to ex-paladins and advanced cleric classes I feel like the first one is easier, but the second one might allow for more players. Or maybe I should just get rid of the requirements all together. Sorry for all the confusion, guys. That was silly not to check before hand. I do like real party requirements though, I think it sometimes brings a specific feel to a quest. Though if anyone wants to go Paladin, I wouldn't say no.
  12. Yeah, I'm getting ready for the finale, which means no more secrets. In the same way that 100 could have revealed Baba's true nature... that's what this quest is for my secrets. So hopefully we'll have a good time - it will be lore heavy, but I think/hope I've learned how to handle that better since my older lore heavy quests. But seriously, what do people think? There's not enough Paladins. Modify the requirements? Get rid of them entirely?
  13. I was actually only just now checking the same thing. Maybe someone will go Paladin... and maybe I'll have to have Shu Yu be a little bit more open minded. Maybe any Cleric/Knight advanced classes allowed, along with ex-Paladins? There was once upon a time enough Paladins, but I guess things have changed. What do you guys think? And I'm glad you're interested in the quest! I would really like at least a majority of returning characters. It's going to be a... pretty intense quest. I'm pretty excited, personally.
  14. Bobby repeats. "Yo, that lady has sure got a dope voice!"
  15. Bobby attacks the Carly Addict from the back row. "This crowd is loopy, yo. What do you think these peeps problem is?"
  16. It's not a question of confirming, it's a question of consideration. An analogy: If you slurp your soup at home, that's fine. If you slurp your soup in public, it might make other people unhappy. So do you still slurp your soup in public? Either way, you control your actions, but the way you behave reflects on your character. That's all I've got to say on the matter. I like you and I like playing alongside you, but it always bums me out when my friends insist on slurping soup.
  17. No, you're a ranger!
  18. If he is maple, there are also likely maple on the bandwagon! Both of the possibilities will be useful in later days, in accordance on how the lovely trees vote later on!
  19. Extremely well done MOC! Very adorable - I love his shoes! I agree with Pepper, this feels very "8-bit" especially in the very stud oriented build.
  20. "Yo man, I ain't looking to mess with anyone's groove." Bobby leans over to his companions. "This is crazy, yo! This Carly Swift got to be some hot stuff. I dunno if it's even safe for her out here, know what I'm saying? I don't want to fight these people though, yo. They seem aight, even if they're a bit wonky. 'Sides, we can't even beat one fairy, doesn't seem super smart to me."
  21. I can't control my tongue - Because I can't control my tongue. Don't know from who.
  22. The Zeigfrieds just can't seem to catch a break. Furniture, frogs, grown-up-boys, and now dolls.
  23. "Yo, I'm sure the crowd are cool dudes and chicks." Bobby beams. "Maybe we can just walk through, yo." Bobby taps the shoulder of the old (wo)man(?) in front of him. "What's up, my dude, my name is Bobby Bucks. How's it hanging? You think there's gonna be like a line where we all get to meet her or what's up?"
  24. Witch would be a very interesting choice! Shaman I can see as well. Vind is a great character, very excited to see how a new class would change him.
  25. Oh Simon, you're such a lamb. Or that me? Sure is a sunny day! Hazel strikes me as a very confused tree, but sadly in a way that she could still either be a confused maple or confused oak. I always find it very hard to judge confused trees, because they flail regardless of what side they're on. That being said, Maples all have their roots tied together and can usually stop each other from flailing or being confused too much... but sometimes some trees are just too flustered to control at all! I dunno! Just my thoughts. Very weird ideas, but not particularly maple-y in my opinion. Caterina pushing for a Hazel lynch seems sort of maple-y to me, personally - it is a good low risk vote! Won't be involved with the "bandwagon" which is good with this number of votes (should they turn up oaky, she will not have been involved, and at this point there's still a chance to turn it around since it's not a sure thing, which would of course be good for the maples). Hazel is sure doing a lot of silly things that would be easy to push against, too, which is what it appears Caterina is doing! What a silly tree! Chester's abandonment of his lynch is indeed a strange turn as well, and I think it's worth paying attention too! But, if I'm being an honest oaky tree (and I always am!) I feel Larry Larch's push for a lynch on that front is more maple-y for many of the same reasons I find Caterina odd.
