  1. "Yo, pleasure to meet you." Bobby dusts off his hands and continues to blush due to Darksten's reprimanding. "My name is Bobby, yo. What is your name?" He turns to Darksten. "Real sorry about that, my dude. Real d-bag move on my part, not fly." Then to the lady. "Yo, we really dug that song you were singing or humming or whatever. Where'd you learn that, straight dope yo."
  2. "Yeah man, sorry boutcha, didn't see you there, my dude." Bobby is flustered by his leader's anger and blushes deeply.
  3. Yes, sorry, I didn't mean to flaunt a new quest before running it by you, I just have to figure out when I will actually have the time to host it which means seeing what the semester looks like first.
  4. Chauncey leads the heroes back out of the sewers and over the crest of Sungold Hill until they come to the gates of Guffington Manor. Chauncey produces a key and unlocks the enormous doors. He leads the way into the small courtyard, and then around the house to a side entrance where Elba and U'Or wait patiently. "Have fun?" "Did you get what you need?" "Yes we did," says Chauncey with a small smile, before stepping towards the door. "And where are your gifts?" "They should be arriving right now they should be arriving!" And almost on cue, a few familiar faces approach from around the front of the house. "I apologize that we are a little late. I'm to blame, if the truth be told." He blushes a little, and looks much happier than when the heroes last saw him... happier perhaps than any hero has seen him in the past. "You'll never believe what happened. Grady was going through some old records, looking for some book he promised he'd let Daneeka borrow-" Grady slips U'Or the book- "when he stumbled upon an old record of my families that was all but forgotten about. It seems that my father wanted me to inherit one of the family blades. There are only a few of them, very nice weapons, though of course some one along the years let them fall to disrepair and I've had to take it upon myself to restore the one my father wanted me to have." "Isn't that lucky?" Grady says, glowering at the heroes. "Well I don't think luck has anything to do with it! I am certain my father always knew that I could achieve anything I set my mind to. He nearly made me the head of the house when Heinrich got into trouble with..." he glances at the sewer water left on the heroes... "perhaps that is not a story for such... mixed company." And speaking of mixed company... "Mighty Lord Hinckwell, didn't know you were coming to this shindig," says Shawe with a mocking bow. Grady rams himself between his employer and Samuel and shoves the former backwards. "Hey now, no need to get all prickly, Grady. We're friends when we're at Guffington's. Everyone is friends at Guffingtons, that's his rule, or don't you know that?" He looks past Grady to Elba, handing him the Charisian wine. "Speaking of friends... I may have brought a few extras. We got to drinking and didn't want to stop the drinking." Behind him marches Everyman, Everstien, and Avery. "Oh dear. Very mixed company." Henry's eyes narrow a little, but his grin can't be forced off his face. "I feel like I've been here before," murmurs Avery. "It is more than possible," cackles Everstien. "Maybe you'd be willing to serve us some drinks this time around, though." Everstien winks at Elba and U'Or, who seem a little confused by the whole thing. Before they have time to question it, however... the door behind them swings open and an elderly gentlemen walks out. He pauses upon seeing all the people. "What are you all doing outside my mansion!?" he asks gruffly, before chuckling a little to himself: "you'll catch a cold that way. Besides, the drinks are indoors. And I know that's what you're all here for. Don't deny it, Henry," he points accusingly to the Hinckwell. "What are you doing out here, Lord Guffington?" "Sometimes I like to come pee outside. Give back to the earth. Makes you feel freer, too." "Oh door. I garden in this courtyard." Guffington pats the U'Kin on the shoulder. "It's good for the flowers. Well, come on! We can't leave Daneeka inside all alone. And besides, I don't need an audience. Everyone is welcome!" He waves everyone indoors, the heroes included! It would be a night to remember! As the heroes walk through the mansion, Elba and U'Or hand them each 100 gold and a present wrapped up in a bow! The quest was a success! OoC: You guys can stay at/leave "the party" as soon or as late as you like! It's all just RP from here on in - pretty much everyone from the quest is here - but as soon as you all leave I will post final stats, along with what each of you got in your present! So please, RP or don't RP, whatever suits your fancy, and thanks for questing with me!
  5. I'd be trapped there too if I wasn't away right now. Best of luck, Endgame. I'd say "med" is a safe bet. Probably 2, 2 1/2 months tops. But those predictions aren't always spot on.
  6. I don't know exactly when I'll be hoping to host it, but fairly soon (within two or so weeks) I'm hoping to host a quest for knights, clerics, and their advanced classes (and anyone who was previously or currently a paladin). It's anyone's guess which faction it might focus on.
  7. "Doc Daneeka has a love for riddles so I have taken the liberty of finding him a very old one." Nona fixes her stern gaze on Keliim. "I guess so, huh." She frowns. "I don't use black magic. If you want to call what I do 'black magic", thats your problem, not mine."
  8. Bobby smiles. "Whatever you say, man. These fights are tough, dog. Boss man last time around could dish out tons of damage, but this dude-" indicating Darksten- "is out all the time, yo. Guess he likes naps or something." Bobby uses a Phoenix Essence on Darksten.
  9. Hey y'all, Nash Ash here, looks to be a sunny day and I can't wait until we all get to spread our leaves and play together.
  10. The heroes go back the way they came, and run into the witch just as Chauncey returns. He is, to his credit, also relatively disheveled and carries the smell of singed fabric on him. "Alright, Nona. That's it. We got the job done, you owe us now." Nona sighs and takes from her robes something that looks almost like a giant rug. Chauncey stuffs it into a small bag. The sort that's bigger on the inside. "Wasn't too tough I hope, heroes. Well, if there's anything else you'd like to say to the witch, now is the time." Chauncey turns to her again himself. "Stay safe, Nona. I'm not sure that those Imperial Order kooks won't ever be back." And then he pads off towards the exit of the sewers, leaving the heroes to follow him.
  11. It happens, especially to first time QMs (I think there are a few over complicated items out there that I've tossed out, and even Sandy made the Healing Staffs which I will never ever ever forget about ), but I've said it once and I'll say it again: confusing/broken artifacts/classes are certainly things that factor into my desire to host someone or not. I can't speak for everyone, but some of the items are just down right pains and suck the fun out of QMing just immediately. I don't know if this is still the practice, but for at least my first few quests (up until 53 I remember doing it, which was my 7th quest) I submitted every unique drop to Sandy for review. I think it's a good idea. And even with that some weird stuff slipped through the cracks. Actually, I know I did it up until 68 because I wanted to drop something that granted immunity to both doomed and instant death and then Sandy told me it was too powerful. And then he releases stuff like the Blue Hand shield.
  12. Bobby attacks the Fairy from the back row. "Yo man, we'll just see how it goes, you know?" Battle Order Leofwein Bobby
  13. Ah, Speedy, what if I came back just to play with you. Oh well, at least this way the position of towniest of the town might be open.
  14. Ah, what the hell. 1) I've played quite a few, but might be a little rusty. 2) Yes. 3) Yes!
  15. Bobby repeats! "Sorry bout ya kitty, your hanging with the wrong dudes!"
  16. And I am already back! Safely and Prague and set up with Wifi! And my questees didn't even post.

  22. "Yo, dude, we would have been totally aight helping you find warmth and your home, yo, but this ain't cool." Bobby snaps his whip.
  23. Hey guys, sorry for the wait! I will be able to update tonight (in a few minutes) and then tomorrow all day, but Saturday and Sunday look to be my (very long...) transport days, and who knows how I'll be feeling on Monday. Tuesday at the latest I should be returned to posting. Sorry for the trouble!
  24. Hey all! Over the next few days there will be a day or two that I am unable to get online! I'm not entirely sure what day it is yet - I've only finally gotten my visa to get over to Europe, so my day of transport is still in flux and then I'll probably need a day or two to settle in. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully 123 has been at a pace where it won't be too much trouble, and PLs can control my various characters.
  25. Very enjoyable game to follow, Tammo! I agree that 5 out of 18 is a little high as far as scum ratio goes, but that doesn't mean that they didn't play a very smart game (and the neutral did a nice job too, though it was spectacularly bad timing for the town side of things). Overall I thought everyone played extremely well, and even though the ratio was high and the scum got radically lucky night one (heck, it happens to town and scum alike in some games) I think everyone did a very nice job! It was a fun theme too, and well presented. I look forward to the day when I have time to participate in Mafia once again!
