  1. Ah, that weapon was created before the Minstrel was changed. Remember that Battle Songs didn't use to be affected by any effects? I'd rule it that you are only hastened when you use the weapon.   3. I've now reorganized the rule pages for effects and immunities. Those two have now been separated from each other in terminology, since they have practically been two different things all along. Immunities cannot be removed, effects can (unless they are permanent). Nimble has officially been added to the list, too. I decided against adding Camaraderie and Companionship, since they don't seem like things that should get removed by a Neutralizer, and they are pretty rare, too. Also, confused and hexed have now been clarified to make sure that heroes can't avoid them by doing nothing.

  11. When I last updated the Minstrel, I pondered about the ether costs, but decided it would be simpler to keep it flat. I can see how Nanny's Lullaby would make things simple for the Minstrel, but I thought it would be balanced out by the Minstrel's incapability to do anything else in the round. Maybe if I raise the ether cost? I could also remove the entire song out of the roster.
  12. The last time this issue was brought up, I introduced the Medals of Glory - something I kinda wish I hadn't done, because how easy it was for some players to push ahead of everyone else. However, if everyone had an easy access to the medals, then they would be pretty much pointless to begin with. I don't think making character progress faster in general would do much good for this game. As Kintobor pointed out, players wouldn't have much time to get used to their job classes before they would be tempted to change it to a more advanced one. And since job classes are a big part of roleplaying the character, it would also hurt the character's personal story arch. It is totally possible, and I agree that it should be used more often. I usually give experience from solving puzzles or riddles in my quests, but only to the solver(s).

  24. Okay, listen. If you want to make suggestions about a class, do it so in the "Expert Job Class Discussion" -topic, and please post more than just a name for a class. Anyone can come up with names for classes, but if you don't offer anything else, there's not much to discuss.
  25. It's not about what roles the master classes fulfill, but which players have access to them. Adding Mystic Warden would leave barbarians, rogues and clerics out by only offering one master class besides Mime to them. Of course there could be a new class for those three, but it would easily be a vicious cycle where someone would deem the new class "not-roguish-enough" etc. and demand a new master class. I don't understand the claim that Paragons aren't roguish enough or Prophets aren't ranger-y enough - they can do everything their respective basic class can do, after all.
