  2. Ellaria looked at the others hesitantly. Apparently their suspicions weren't as strong as she had thought, but it was too late to back down now. "We have many witnesses testifying for your involvement with the dark dwarves, Master Brixbeard, but the investigation is still going so we cannot disclose any more information. But if you are innocent as you claim, you do not mind us looking around, do you?" Ellaria attempted to move inside the building behind Xor, desperately hoping they were on the right track. OoC: Honestly, the pace of this quest has been so slow that many details elude me. If this lead turns out to be a red herring, then I have no idea what to do next.
  3. QM Note: Sorry for the delays in the quest. Aside from my computer issues, they have a reason that will come apparent to you quite soon. The party turned to follow Syrma, but right then the ground trembled and the walls around them began to move. Or was it their own location that moved? Nevertheless, when the trembling stopped, the party were facing a completely different tunnel. Worse yet, they could hear something approaching them just around the corner, crawling and scraping and clacking against the stone. What would they do?
  4. I think that the description is worded wrong (no offense to the creator of the sword). The sword should obviously have a chance to break after every use. Weapons do not usually break while being sheated. Weapon types and the effects they carry (usually) have no correlation - it is just a coincidence that all the fragile-inflicting weapons are maces. Having QM'd before, you should know that you could drop a fragile-inflicting sword in your quest, for example.
  5. Rex decided to follow Heckz and Boomingham to Sanctity Street on the Holy District. They found the two Lucustoid doctors inside the Grand Library, busy organizing the shelves despite the early time of the day. "Glad. To See. You Again. I heard. You helped. My husband find. The lost key." "We are. Ever so. Thankful. Here. I want you. To have this." Fahad handed the heroes a gold-covered book, which turned out to be a self-help guide to help becoming rich quickly. "Key To Riches" (quest item) "If you. Follow. The book's instructions. You will surely. Be richly. Rewarded." "We apologize. That we cannot give. You more. But we are. Only poor scholars. But the. Services of. The Grand Library. Are at. Your disposal." Falish explained that the heroes could borrow any scroll in existence for the duration of their stay in Salmanda. However, the scrolls were enchanted so that if the borrower strayed too far from the region or tried to destroy them, the scrolls would be automatically returned to the library. "So. Are you. Interested. In borrowing. Any of. Our scrolls?" 6. I am very pleased with this as well. If their names are any indication to their choice of weapons, "Macy" could even be wielding a huge mace. And "Lavaria" sounds like the name of a female villain to me.
  7. I am male, and as a kid I practically sought out sets with female minifigs in them, no matter what the theme. Luckily my relatives had no qualms about me wanting Paradisa sets etc. And this all happened in the early 90's, when the male-to-female ratio for minifigs was far more unbalanced than it is today. I'm saying that kids are different, so LEGO sets should be varied as well. Not a very "humble" opinion. Wow... Just wow... There were inarguably female knights and even more female pirates, so to say they are historically inaccurate is simply false. Sexism, on the other hand, means discrimination based on gender, which is exactly what you are advocating here. It is particularly harmful since LEGO is aimed mostly towards children who are just learning about the world and the way it works. If they never see a female knight or a female pirate featured in any popular media or product, they will start to think they have never existed - just like you. In any case, as others have pointed out, LEGO sets are fantasy-based, and they have never been based on actual historical events. So why couldn't there be female knights or female pirates, even if they hadn't been historically accurate? Have you got no imagination?
  8. The heroes were eager to hear the results of the lottery, and some even started to push and shove others to get closer. The oncoming tickets with the names of the participants soon filled a glass bowl . "Order! Young Master Ziegfried will now start sending the prizes of the lottery to their respective winners as they are revealed. Look sharp!" "Alright, here goes nothing..." Noel reached into the bowl and started announcing names. Greater Potion (Restores 50 health to the target.) "Kiray Nastayo (KingoftheZempk)!" Greater Tonic (Restores 30 ether to the target.) The Letter of Recommendation can only be used on the character that won it, and it cannot be saved for later, so Zepher, Myrddyn and Scubacarrot, please post in this topic which faction your characters want increased reputations with.
  9. I am back full-time, yay! It was odd to be at home without a computer for over a week - reminded me of all the other things there are to do at home. Turns out it wasn't Windows 10 that was the problem, but my corrupted user profile. I wonder how it got that way... Anyways, expect the results of the Lottery later today!
  10. Ellaria is very invested in the Guild of Invision, as well, but the Guid of Invasion is a whole other matter.
  11. "MasterBixbeard, we strongly suspect that you have been collaborating with dark dwarves to steal mythril from the mines. What do you have to say for yourself?"
  12. Actually, that discussion was about a shield having WP and being used as a weapon. Which is a totally different thing.
  13. Good news! I'll get my computer back tomorrow after work. Expect updates then!
  14. Yes and yes.
  15. But this is a fantasy world with a pantheistic approach to religion - most religious sects believe in the multitude of gods, even though they concentrate on worshipping one. For example, as a High Cleric of Danab you might approach a farmer - who are usually devoted to Sem - and convince him that the Mother might answer his needs better. Its not an automatic, irreversible switch, but the farmer might think "okay, this person sounds convincing - I'll give her goddess a try." I know its not how real life works, usually, but again, this is a fantasy game, so you're not bound by logic and the laws of physics. Something that usually takes time - like turning to another religion - can happen instantly if its more convenient to the game.
  16. "So nobody has a plan? Great..." Ellaria rolled her eyes. Then she stepped forward, holding the High Chief's document, and showed it to the dwarf. "We are on official governmental business. Please state your name and position."
  17. I think you guys are overreacting with the Convert-trait. It is up to the QM if it works, and it's really just a different type of diplomacy - making people turn to their faith allows the High Cleric to gain their trust and respect. It is not a modern sentiment, but this isn't a contemporary setting anyway. Plus these are NPCs, so you're actually not breaking anyone's human rights. :P
  18. I just said all effect multipliers are counted before SP reduction. Why would fragile be an exception?
  19. "It is Ulrica versus the two Revered Mothers, Verdra and Ovelia. They all have their supporters, but this is the point the competition gets ugly. You wouldn't believe it from the looks of a bunch of whiteclad aunties, but we can be quite vicious."
  20. It's still coming. It won't be a singular event like CAT, though, but something that will affect the game for the rest of its course.
  21. Guys, I put my battle calculations in parentheses so you can see how the damage is calculated yourselves. It's not that complicated, just see for yourselves! Damage multipliers (elements and effects) always affect the entire sum of power, and SP is reduced after the multipliers. We've been playing for four years now, this shouldn't be news to anyone...
  22. Sorry to keep you waiting with the raffle, but you'll have to wait some more, until I get my computer back. :/
  23. No, shields do not cause elemental damage. I don't understand your second question... Normal hits are always level+WP+bonus power, if that's what you're asking.
  24. Haha, that second one in the latest batch is so true! How come fairy tale parodies don't use it more often?
  25. Through spiritism, Namyrra was able to communicate with the elven ghost. "Follow me... I owe you... But beware... Treacherous maze... Preying darkness... The witch is watching..." The ghost then began to float back to the direction where they came from.
