I hope you do realize that you don't have to change a thing about your character avatar, even when you reach the advanced classes? Those pictures are there just for flavor.
-
Yes, it should have. I'm so glad I don't have any knights on my quest - I always forget to take their SP into calculation!
-
I remember changing it because I didn't want both a Warlock and a Witch into the fray. Besides, the name Sorcerer fits well with the abilities the class has.
-
That's right! And because I'm feeling generous, here's another batch of three. None of their abilities will be revealed before they come to play, though.

Like Khorne said, Zoot is a god (of the void and the demons, specifically), but I have no intentions of culminating this game to an epic battle with an evil god, so anybody planning to do that can forget those plans right away. Unlike many fantasy novel writers, I resent the idea of "physical" deities who can be fought against by common mortals. Any QM can of course pitch the heroes against any number of Zoot's followers or demons, but the gods themselves are a no-go. The gods may have manifestations, but they are more like concepts rather than actual living beings. Thanks! I wanted to leave much of the world open for player/QM influences, that's why the events I depict in my quests are concentrated in and around Eubric. Even though I have my detailed ideas, I don't want anyone to feel restricted by them. If you want your character to worship some other deity than the ones I created, for example, be my guest. Likewise you are free to add any kind of race you can think of into play, although I don't like directly ripping off popular franchises such as LotR or Harry Potter (Masked Builder: the Dementor was alright, though, since they're such cool creatures). Glad you guys have been enjoying the game thus far!

Heroica RPG - Quest#12: Honey, I Shrunk the Youngins!

"I think the current battle order is fine, Tesni. If I receive a miracle from Sylvania, it's best to save it for last." -
People who have already been on a quest (or are currently on one), keep those quest pitches coming! I myself have ten quests under plans at the moment, but there's only a few potential quest pitches from other people at the moment. Once the quests #4 through #12 are done, there's going to be a lot of quest-hungry heroes out there, and I can't satisfy their hunger alone. So yeah, send me those ideas.

*gasp* I didn't notice this before, but there are BUTTERFLIES! And LADYBUGS! And ROSES! All I need now is a rainbow-piece, and I can finally build my perfect Magic Fairy LalaLand of Gaytime and Merriment! See for yourselves! Oh! Somebody's impaled those poor bugs on flowerstalks...

Not only did I watch it from tv as a kid, I also have DVD-boxes of the first three seasons, as well.

Heroica RPG - Quest#12: Honey, I Shrunk the Youngins!

"Aaah! I can speak again! Sorry, I panicked a bit there... But now, we've got an immensely difficult battle at hand, and I suspect our healths will widdle down faster than the drink in Lord Boomingham's cup. So please, Tesni, let me heal you." Ellaria tries to heal Tesni from the back row. -
Actually, I took the name from the villain in one of my childhood's favorite tv-shows, The Tribe. Meet Zoot.

Heroica RPG - Quest#10: Extra-Curricular Activities

The party's search of the offices only netted them a bottle of glue, which they thought might be useful later. 1x Bottle of Glue - used for sticking two things together. Pocketing the glue, Maurice tried to contact Bohring's ghost again, but to no avail. As Nur turned his back on the mirror, his reflection stayed put to stare after him maliciously. The other party members watched in horror as the Nur in the mirror stepped out of the frames, followed by more sinister versions of all of them. The twisted reflections swung the weapons they carried in their left hands, and without a word attacked the party. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! Heroica RPG - Quest#10: Extra-Curricular Activities
Sandy replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
The party decided to make its way to the second floor of the East Wing. There they came to the locked door again, but thanks to having Jensen accompany them, it was opened in a jiffy. The five of them entered the Faculty Offices. Things looked orderly in there. The furniture was much more ornate and expensive than anywhere else inside the academy. The center-piece of the offices was inarguably the large mirror than hung on the wall. Much to their surprise, the party heard the unmistakable dry voice of Bohring the Enlightened again. "...Secret..." the ghostly provost whispered. What would the party do next? -

"Mhhm? Mmmmhhhmmm?! MmmHhmMMmMMhhhh!!!" The panic takes over Ellaria as she grabs the sole remedy in her pack and sprinkles it on herself. -
They might not be, unfortunately. I have no control over when the quests end. But this new shop is a very special one, it will not have something for everyone. But you'll see for yourself, next weekend.

Thanks to Nur's observativeness, the party finds not one, but two magnifying glasses. Patry leader, how will these be divided? 2x Magnifying Glass - Allows the hero to see trap triggers. Like the party already knows, the library has doors to the Auditorium, the Atrium and the East Wing. There are no other doors in it. -
The shop will stay open for a month, but it will return sometime in the future. Let's just say it's... mobile.
-
I'm so going to dress my Heroica RPG character Ellaria in that green dress once I get my hands on it. But as for your dilemma, I'd go with the blonde long french-braided hair as well. Haha, Lucius "Luscious" Malfoy!
-
No, I don't think so. We should keep at least some items quest-exclusive. But there will be a new, temporary shop opening up at the Marketplace next weekend (just in time for Halloween).

What will the party do next? -
~Portia's Potion Shack is now stocked with Meads, Smelling Salts and Nostrums (thanks, WDB).~
