i never bought me an advent calendar, but this one seems cool enough to pick it up. That Ree-Yees headpiece can also be used for making senators like Ask Aak and Aks Moe, We never had a senator-set.

LEGO could make some sort of buckets with some bricks in it (with the instructions for a few mini-builds) and some army-building type of mini-fig that comes with it. For instance: a bucket with the instructions for a mini tie-fighter, tie-bomber, tie-this and tie-that and then 3 stormies, a pilote, and an officer. Or something like that. Or a bucket with some mini-clone army vehicles and some clone soldiers. That will make a nice treat for the army-builders and also for children and the parents who buy these sets for the children. So a good balance between bricks and mini-figs. Lego can use the army-type of minifigs for these buckets and use exclusive minifigs for the planet series and then everybody is happy! Win-win! The type of buckets i mean: http://media.hoopos....bucket-5539.JPG Ow they already did that :-s: http://www.brickwars...t_page_7159.php Hahah that Aldar Beedo fig (which can be found in that set) is some ugly minifig haha

A Max Rebo without his band..... i'm already yearning for a Sy Snoothles and Droopy McCool. It's just pure mortification to give us Max and not the others...

I still don't know why Bossk has a green head? Why don't they give him the color he has in the movies? but mini-figures i like to see are: - Ponda Baba (walrusman) - Snaggletooth (Zutton) - Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead) - Figrin D'an (for the modal nodes) - Zuckuss - 4-lom - Ugnaughts and maybe - Tessek (squidhead)

I think TLG doesn't have a real direction with the Planet series. Sometimes it seems as they don't know if they need to put exclusive mini-figures or army-building kinda mini-figures in them. I think that affects us too. Some of us are more in to MOCs, army-building or minifigs, and the planet series is just in between of them all. That's confusing for the buyers i guess. Also TLG makes the wrong choices with the ships connecting to the planet, or with a second choice character. I think that frustrates the SWfans also a lot. But if they're planning on making new planets my vote goes to the planet Brodo Asogi (the green planet), the mini-fig will be E.T., and the ship would be the mothership OR Elliot's bike.

Nice! I love the Fang and Ferret also

I would buy me a few sets of these! nice work! And oh yeah good job with the horns on the tusken raiders (darth maul-style)

I think it's from the scene, where Padme, Obi and Ani got rescued from the arena. There were super battle droids overthere, right?

Nice! Let's get Lego to make Mos Eisley-sets instead of Hoth-sets ----> i want that dewback And oh yeah you should design a Bantha with a Tusken Raider outpost-set as well!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I know the Mos Eisley Cantina would be better if it was only one set. And you people might be true about the Cantina band figures (too much the same minifig), i haven't thought off that to be honest. -
Hi, I just like to share my Cuusoo projects will all of y'all, since you're all SW-fans. Of course i'm aware that those projects are not likely to get made at all. But for me, it was kinda nice to develop some Lego-designs and I finally understood how to work with LDD. I drew myself some mini-figures (the accent on all these sets are the mini-figures by the way) and connected them with my LDD-designs. My main reason for these designs is that sometimes when you have an idea stuck in your mind, you want to execute that idea in the hope TLG will see it and gets inspired and uses some of those ideas :-) Anyhow, my first Cuusoo-project was called Star Wars Universe Packs and contained six boxes with five mini-figures in it, a stand and a mini-building. A little like the Planet-series. Biggest reason for those packs is of course the need of more typical SW universe people (the kind that won't show up in other Lego SW boxes, because they're not main characters) for us to make our Lego SW world more complete and detailed. The second project is all about the Mos Eisley Cantina. The thing is, we need a new cantina. A proper one. The set 4501 isn't sufficient in any ways (ok, except for bringing us Greedo). In trying to inspire TLG i designed a Mos Eisley Cantina in packs. So in order to complete your Cantina you'll need all the packs. The reason for this is of course the number of mini-figures. If you want a real SW Mos Eisley cantina you need a cantina-band, you'll need some space weirdo's, a bartender, some good folk, and a snitch with some bad folk. I thought this was a clever idea for TLG to avoid one big set with too many mini-figures and not being super expensive. I'm not the greatest Lego-designer so the designs may be pretty rough. I hope you'll like them, i just wanted to share with y'all! Oh, if you like to see them on Cuusoo: SW Universe Packs Mos Eisley Main Cantina Cantina Band Pack Cantina Benches Pack Cantina Entrance Pack

EB's Super Hero Comic Cover Contest Voting Thread!
Borex replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
21 by Runamuk - 2 points 3 by the watchman - 1 point I actually have both the comics. I'll give the Transformers the 2 points especially for adding the title and the little block with the transformer in it, and the 1 point is for adding a Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture and Kraven (I hope that this will inspire the peoples of TLG to make some old school superbaddies) -
It has something old skool about it, that i really like. Too bad they made that speederbike instead of one or two more trenches. We have enough speederbikes.

That tie-bomber pilot in 75008 seems to have a new print.

Wow, i just don't know what to say. Of course Star Wars is to us, the fans sacred, but for people with money in their eyes it's pure business. And that's also exactly the thing i hate about it. But you know, maybe they will do a really great job on the new movies? Anything will be better than the prequels right? But what if they don't, and you are really going to loathe Star Wars, what are you supposed to do with all your SW Lego? Burn the mini-figures?
-
I think we need more side-figures from the Star Wars Universe. Mos Eisley Cantina figures, Henchmen of Jabba, Ugnaughts and other Bespin people. And what about some Senators? As a Cuusoo-project i made also a few of those figures, just to give those people at Lego some more ideas, and for us, SW-lovers, something to dream about haha And then the figures i want to see the most done by Lego are: - Ponda Baba, - Bossk with a tan skin-color (Bossk is not green) --> and if they make the tan version, with a short body you can make H'rcheck Kal Fas from the Cantina, and we can use his head and arms for a proper Bossk - Zutton (and then of course also Takeel as a special) - Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead) - Ugnaughts - the Cantina Band (Modal Notes) - and last but not least the two missing bounty hunters 4-Lom and Zuckuss

Lego Star Wars 4501 - Mos Eisley Cantina Review

Yup, that Greedo is one hell of a minifigure.
