    I don’t have numbers of course, so it’s just a hunch, but i think they didn’t sell that well. It’s a tricky theme after all. AC has a large group of fans, but do they all buy lego? And are those sets interesting enough for people that don’t know anything about AC? I think if the builds were more challenging more afols would step in for parts or moc-ing. And for the kids it maybe is a bit too cozy? Maybe they went the big buildable figure route to speak more to the adult AC-fan? but then again, this is just me guessing

    Well, this is not what i was hoping for. It is a kind of what i predicted though, big buildable and diorama style in one. Anyway i just wanted Tim and Tommy as minifigs to join the island

    I played ac since the wii version. I collected almost every set as well. My thoughts about the sets is that the builds are just a tad too simplistic. I get it though, lego wants to cater to the really young and the old as well. i also have to agree that i’m not a fan of the rounded baseplates as what NickNack said. It makes it harder to create nice dioramas. The minifigures are great. However i feel like they had a cmf series in mind because of the missing characters in some sets (orville and sable for instance). And they could have given Tom Nook a proper tailpiece instead of this one. My guess for this set is either a big buildable Tom Nook, or maybe a fleshed out diorama style landscape set like the zelda battle. Then maybe if they’ll make something like this for Mario you’ve got a nintendo series going on

    I’ll buy two polybags if i can find them to try making timmy and tommy. This polybag feels like a waste

    And the ninjago 15yrs masters can join in for some earth-, wind-, water-, and firebending

    I hope they’ll do recolour versions for bam of the frog suit (red? blue?), gold fish (koi white, koi black) and macaw (blue version) and i can see them doing recolours of the dog, cat and bunny as well. maybe they can do a white and black koi in city set, that would work for me.

    The goldfish costume is pretty static as it is, if they would use the short legs it would be an almost non moveable minifig i guess.

    Something that irks me is that the brown plates for the windows don’t have wood grain on them. I mean lego does have them, right? Maybe not in all sizes, but maybe stickers?

    So still no news about AC? Hopefully we will still get some sets/polybags. I feel most locations are covered and i don’t know how good sales are going for this theme, but it just needs some extra figures to really flesh out the collection and making it an island. plus we still haven’t got a gyroid :-(

    1- space soldier. Something bulk, something space. something shooty. Alien. 2- pigeon messenger. Castle guy with pigeon and letter 3- underwater dino suit. Plesiosaur headpiece and flipperarms 4- Peryton. With a forest people outfit/shield and the new attachable wings 5- 90s music fan. With headphones and a discman and bubble vest 6- F-1 fan, because they somehow love f1 7- Brocolli suit person. 8- Package deliverer. With three cardboard packages 9- marine biologist and a barracuda 10- pirate guy, but an arabic one 11- ghost-child with no face, but his face on a teddy bear 12- kite-surfer

    A music shop with music albums would be great. Musical instruments, meh. A furniture shop could be cool, but i really hope they sell more than one couch, a table, two cupboards, a vase and a lamp.

    I don’t know what you’re all talking about, but in the 80s i had a huge crush on Wanda. Foxy! (i also had a crush on Storm, Tigra, both Captain Marvels (Denvers and Rambeau). Hated Wasp and wasn’t a fan of Jean Grey as well)

    I have a cemetary on my ac island. I think it works well as a combo :-)

    Ah too bad. A turning head piece always wins from a non-turning one. A non-turning one is also less useful for figbarfing.

    I never thought that i’d like the peacock, but that headpiece is cool. Most of the headpieces look good. I hope the croc head isn’t attached to its tail? Now all i need is a lot of Fabuland minifig torsos. and i think the Cat is white and not tan

    2 good ( not the cat and koala, i didn’t wrote them down) and one maybe. I mean an Oran utang is a monkey, so i just need to see it first to judge if i guessed right

    Okay i have three lists: - regular animal suits 1) beaver suit with wood 2) kangaroo suit with boxing gloves 3) crocodile suit with recolored fish 4) sheep suit with a woolen vest on and a witty torso beneath that 5) pigeon suit with two pigeons 6) hercules beetle with greenery 7) dolphin suit with ball 8) walrus suit with fabuland torso and tile with set 3673 9) orang utan suit with a note book to study behaviour 10) brachiosaur suit with long neck 11) hippo costume with vegetables 12) bobtail costume with blow dryer But in case it is a marvel animal costume suit series, then these are my guesses - marvel animal costume suits: 1) leap frog/frog man 2) beetle 3) puma 4) razorback 5) walrusman 6) the human fly 7) grizzly 8) lizard 9) white rabbit 10) squirrel girl 11) kangaroo 12) the squid and if it turns out to be animal crossing animal suits, these will be my guesses :-) - animal crossing guesses: 1) Gulliver 2) Sabel 3) Pascal 4) Tortimer 5) Saharah 6) Brewster 7) Orville 8) Timmy/Tommy 9) Zipper T Bunny 10) Resetti 11) Daisy Mae 12) Pete

    Ah too bad. I would have loved an animal crossing series. Now let’s hope that there are some useful new pieces with this series then. A few of them new pigeons with a guy in a pigeon suit would work for me

    Are they really going to be costumes? I mean it could be animal crossing? That would make more sense, doesn’t it? (I didn’t see any links btw)

    So i saw the rumour that there will be a cmf series that only consists of animal minifigs. Maybe animal suits of course, but my guess is animal crossing. That would be so fire if that is true. edit: they say it’ll be costumed animals :-(
