LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Borex replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Not really interested in the scientist, but the others look great! really anxious to see the likes of holiday elf, tiki warrior, jazz musician and scarecrow (will there be in future series a dorothy, a lion and a tin man?) -
i have mixed feelings about exclusives. It's not really fair to the Lego SW fans who buy all the sets (or a lot of sets) year in and out and don't get the chance to earn those wanted minifigs sold at fares. But i like the idea of exclusive minifigs.

Lego needs to not focus on the minifigures!

They do need to focus on their minifigs, and they should make more playsets to put them in :-) -
Double Feature Review Part I: 75024 HH-87 Starhooper
Borex replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the review. I actually like the ship a little better now. But i still dislike the figs. -
ooh lala The trees could have been a little bit taller in my opinion, and that skirt on Leia? That's just plain ugly. Also, i had hope for Nippet (he/she is a baby ewok and a micro-figure would suffice). Chief Chirpa and Logray could have been switched for just two other ewoks we don't already have. Then again: ooh lala (and Teebo and Luke are awesome)

Brick Yellow will suffice.

but he's tan.

hahah funny MOC! Eat that gungan rancor! But i don't have a clue what's in the water?
-
might they do the Hound's Tooth, then give us also a Bossk with the proper skin color. Bossk is tan, not green!

LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, Times Square-edition Press Kit
Borex replied to BobaCon's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What could be the biggest Lego Model? Something Yoda-Chronicle related? The Ewok Village that's been speculated (with huge trees?) -
Hmm not fan of the rubber heads. I hoped for hard plastic. Ree-Yees could have been easily a hard plastic head, just like Max Rebo. Does Coleman Trebor also have a rubber head?

I like this set for the fact that it's a playset. Playsets are a nice way for exposing your minifigs. It's a bit small though, and a little too open for my taste. But still i really want it. Why is it so expensive? Poggle is great!

The thing is i'm going to use the stickers because they need to be there, but i'm bad at stickering, and in the end i will have a crooked sail barge. So that puts me pretty much off, especially for a set that costs more than 100andthensome euros
-
Does the Barge have tons of stickers??? Oh please let it not be true I hope those are going to be printed tiles
