Nice to hear that there will be a lot of Marvel sets. Since the upcoming Star Wars wave isn't really interesting to me, i can catch up with some superheroes! Because of the Lego Marvel Superhero game, i think most of the new minifigs will pretty much look like the game-versions: http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/LEGO_Marvel_Super_Heroes I'm mostly an eighties/nineties marvel comic book fan (though i like the movies too), and thus not really familiar with the cartoons. Spidey is still my favorite, so i'm glad we're getting some new sets with him. Fingers crossed for a decent Electro, and a 'classic' green goblin. I don't know what/who the ultimate spider-man green goblin is, but i that would be a huge disappointment to me, if we're getting him. And i think i will start to collect the Avengers too. I didn't like the Avengers sets last year (i need a classic hawkeye) so i hope thor has its headgear, and Modok is cool. Yeah, i cant wait for the images

Why isn't this topic split up in a dc superheroes 2014 and a marvel superheroes 2014? I don't care about all those dc sets, i want to know about marvel sets. It would save the people who are only interested in one side of the superheroes-series (like me, the marvel-side) a whole lot of time. Plus i think that there is a little too much speculation and wishfull thinking going on over here ( and i know it's all enthusiasm people ), but it blurs this topic so the actual rumours are becoming hard to find.

I actually really liked building the tmnt sets. But if you have all 4 the turtles, they have to come up with real good and challenging sets. Only if Bebop and Rocksteady will join the party, i might be triggered to buy me new tmnt sets

With the upcoming DSgunners in the DSbp we almost have all our characters for the Death Star. So a nice future set would be a small set with a renewed Palpetine and some Imperial dignitaries.

Yeah i voted for both of the projects. Now let's hope that TLG decides to make a decent set out of both projects. The set doesn't need the ghostbusters office imo, but definitely the Ectomobile, the characters and slimer (Rotta the son of Jabba works pretty well). If they'll make the Ecto-mobile, than it would nicely fit the Delorian from Back to the Future :-)

I like a wookie battle pack. Or even a gungan, geonosian, tusken raiders or ewok battle pack.

The only thing i like about this set is the Bounty Hunter. And what wesker says: too bad they didn't use the helmet for obi-wan

Those new guns are just plain ugly. Too big, formless, ugly and unnecessary. Is it me, or is TLG heading the wrong way with innovations like the shooting gun and the springloaded shooter. Most of the time these play-features will effect the design of the model in a bad way. Lego wants to have some kinda action going on for kids (hence the Ninjago and Chima-stuff which can spin or shoot or whatever they can do), but to me it looks like a flaw. The greatest thing about Lego was that you had to use your imagination, and now they more and more become just plain shooting or spinning toys with a gimmick for a cheap thrill. If Lego keeps those actionbased thingies in other themes like Chima, that's fine with me, but don't cross over to SW, because that might be a bridge to far for collectors.

I really dig the DS Trooper battle pack. It contains the 2 coolest guys on the death star: the Royal Guards and the DS Gunners! But what is wrong with those new guns? Awful! btw i do hope they don't redesign those royal guards too much. It could certainly effect their coolness. The Kashyyk Troopers battlepack was to come with Wookies was rumoured i thought. Where are they now? Still nice Clone Troopers. General Grievous' Wheel Bike: finally i will get Grievous. I'm curious to see the final design. With no boga in it, and no other minifig, this one could be (and should be) a cheaper set. The Microfighters: .... well i don't know. A bit odd. Maybe i will pick up one or two, and maybe the next wave of fighters are a little more interesting to me. A chibi Sail Barge for instance to fly along with my skiffs and the system sail barge. I have to buy Rotta so it could be his ship. But how many times is it even possible to redesign Han Solo in that outfit btw??
