  1. That looks pretty good. Great work!
  2. Don't know if someone already posted this but here's more images: http://www.hobbymedia.it/42248/lego-technic-mobile-crane-mk-ii-42009-e-service-truck-42008-toy-fair-2013
  3. I agree! Personally I'm glad they've changed the colors of the 42008. It looked a little too much "chritmaslike" before in red and green.
  4. Nope. All the parts (exept the yellow bushes) are replaced with other parts. You can compare my solution to how it looks originally:
  5. I think it's simply just because it would have been sooo out of scale. The 8109 is actually pretty small. There would maybe be room for a V4 as it is but that would be even more wrong than a V4 in the 9395 Here's my dualie solution. It locks the axles so that they don't pop out:
  6. It's a fairly good set. Basic functions but great looks in my opinion! The only real downside is the V4 fake engine... It really needs at least a V6.
  7. This is just heaven for a truck lover
  8. That's true. Lego should really make the differrence more visible. Myself I'd prefer a mix of the new and the old instructions. Some steps could easily be eliminated from the new istructions and be incorporated in other steps. Many times I've felt that it's hard to get the big picture of what you're building like it is now, instead of actually knowing what part you're building. (for eg. when you're building parts for a cab,you do'nt know ecactly what it is)
  9. Hahaha, can't stop laughing at this post . Look at it from the bright side. You got a lot of parts and panels for future MOCs of things you like
  10. It looks great in blue! I actually had plans for building a blue cab for my Unimog, maybe I have to do that now.
  11. So, you decided to go for the 8109 Flatbed. I think I've spent about 1500 € on Lego last year. I think the smart thing would be NOT to calculate the exact sum...
  12. Really good work We've seen alot of truck MOCs now, keep 'em coming guys
  13. I'd like to see the "extreme" version in white & blue.
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that they are just make-shift airtanks for looks.
  15. Looking good. The roofline looks alot better now!
  16. Can't wait to see the finished ship. Looking amazing so far
  17. It's absolutely worth it. It's a great set, a must have! And 159€ is pretty cheap actually.
  18. What I can see these are the wheels you've used: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=2994c01 Thank you very much, just have to start colecting parts now
  19. Hahaha Pretty much. Both of them have pretty good parts selection for a fairly low price. You just have to find the right place to buy them from because prizes vary a lot. I,ve seen the 9397 go from 74€ to 150€ depending on where you look here in Finland... So here's my best suggestion: BUY BOTH! (find a good deal first of course)
