Maybe we'll get a Doctor Who game that doesn't suck. Even if it's just a level.
-
I'm not sure this means there will be more sets. Maybe they hope to get LotRs fans to buy the game and think they can do it without additional -traditional- sets beyond the game ones (which seem to all be small). I mean, there's Back to the Future but I wouldn't expect a whole wave of -real- sets based on that franchise at all but imagine all the fans that will buy the game because it's in it! I think it's more a strategy of appealing to as many franchises as possible, supplying the game-ish small sets and reach as many people as possible that way. All without investing in new full waves of LotRs or BttF.

I cannot tell what the heck I'm looking at.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
BrickG replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
The darned Winter Soldier figure, while not really an Ultron one, I still want in this wave. It's like $100 sometimes. :/ -
If this is JUST Capaldi I'd skip it. I just do not care for the latest seasons (including the later ones of the 11th...). Also, I know Character Building isn't as high quality but after having their Daleks be proper figures I'd be disappointed if we got ugly brick built Daleks from Lego. The best brick built ones I've seen are still pretty bad honestly... I basically DEMAND proper figures for them lol.

Finally. I've known about this for a while thanks to a friend but I didn't know about some of the details like the Wizard of Oz or Back to the Future stuff. :) Wish Disney would join in...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
BrickG replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I finally watched it. I can confirm you're the only one to find the new movie enjoyable. It was incredibly bad. -
Well Lego is obviously throwing out the "suitable for kids" rule. Someone submit Game of Thrones Lego and lets vote it up.
-
An unaltered version of the original trilogy is as bad as the new ones. Some things NEEDED fixing. The crappy lightsaber effects in ANH. The hover "field" under the speeder. Etc. It's about smart enhancements. The problem is a lot are dumb. Like Vader's additional "no"s or Han shooting second.

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Nope. The bush clearly magically produced her. Even if it didn't your alternative is equally as ridiculous which is why Doctor Who is so bad now. -

How to stop an countdown: Pull off a sick flip! How to stop an alien ship powered by gold: Shoot an arrow that weighs a lot and is solid gold at it! How to find your missing sister: She's in a bush! -

Debating is useless online. I'm just going to spew my opinion like others. It's bad. Shows shouldn't have face palm moments and they shouldn't be this common. And I'm not angry. I just don't like things that are terribly made. -

Doctor Who is now made for the masses like Transformers. What this means is a great loss of quality traded for appeal. Doctor Who officially sucks now :P. The stories are more ridiculous and stupider than ever. Lets shoot this solid gold arrow a few miles up! Save the world with gold power! Lets stop a countdown with a huge flip! I now know how to confuse countdown clocks! Oh dear God how are people not seeing how incredibly bad this is?! HOW!? They've Transformered the series! Doctor Who never made the most sense (or any :P) but now it's just sunk so much lower than I ever thought possible! -
Some kind of Lego cruise ship or boat thing. White and blue. Not sure which one. It was when I was like 5. Probably around... 1990ish. I have no memories outside of receiving it for something (have no idea if it was a birthday or what). I don't remember putting it together or anything. I don't remember what happened to it. I was probably the worst kid with toys and always lost everything (I'd bury them and then forget where I buried them).

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Video Game Discussion)
BrickG replied to The Joker1's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I don't really like that Batman Beyond Batman is using the normal mask. IMO he needs a custom one. -
Bad. Really bad. Episode VII is the only hope for Star Wars to ever redeem itself. This obviously isn't. It is exactly what I thought it would be, simplified children trash. I'm too depressed form this to even detail why. It's not worth the words.

This show is terrible. I usually have more to say. But no. Not worth it. Terrible.

Cable is a character made to be cool and barely has any actual character himself. Cyborg, big guns, kind of anti-hero. Another "tries too hard" from the 90s. I read a lot of stuff with him in it and honestly I can barely define his bland character.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Video Game Discussion)
BrickG replied to The Joker1's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
It's just another Lego game to me. I'm burnt out on the forever unchanging gameplay. Pre-order it if you still enjoy it and want that PlasticMan minifigure. :P Simple as that. -
Lego. Here is my inner turmoil. I like LEGO. I like the idea. I like the minifigures especially. Here's the facts: I buy more LEGO than I'm comfortable with. Basically I start feeling guilty. I'm in a good place financially and running out isn't an issue but it feels like a waste. Why does it feel like a waste? I buy, I display some, I never touch again. I do occasionally enjoy building LEGO mocs. I'm not sure I enjoy it as much as I should though. For one, I rarely actually get time to do it. When I have time it's usually spent on my computer, hanging out with people or reading or something else. The end result is me playing with my LEGO like 2 times a year. Things that get in the way of me building are the following: My collection is big now. My collection is disorganized for the most part. Organizing Lego is a serious PAIN! There's too much! Last time I tried I spent days and still didn't do more than half. Then every time I build mocs it gets a bit more disorganized and then I have to organize again. Then when I build mocs I almost never actually finish them. Building mocs is a long term thing and I have so many other things to do in life that I can't usually focus long enough to finish it. Instead they end up unfinished jobs as I get distracted by something else eventually. I feel like I lack the focus, motivation (thanks organization ;p), and passion to really stick to it. At this point I buy sets and put 95% of them into storage after taking the minifigures out. This feels wasteful. It's hard to buy minifigures alone because it always feels like a ripoff (like getting only the minifigures for 50-75% of the price without getting the other tons of pieces). The minifigures, my favorite part, even have their issues. I like them. Something about each new wave of DC, Marvel, Star Wars, etc make me feel a NEED to get them. But then I buy them and display them. And at this point I am basically thinking "and now what?" and can't help but feel like they're useless and empty. I almost feel addicted to them. Appeasing my childhood nostalgia or something. When I buy minifigures and Lego I do get a "that's cool!" feeling. I can spend hours in the Lego store just looking. But then it fades and feels kind of like a carrot on a stick. I'm only here to buy the next wave! It's unending and will claim all my money :P. Then I've got deeper money issues that make me wonder if I should help people rather than fuel a barely hobby, but that's for another day. I'm not sure what to do. On the one hand I do like LEGO. I enjoy it when I get them. But then after they go on display, or go in a collection that I fear to organize, they're not much. Sometimes I look at my collection and think "this is pretty cool" but at the same time I'm not sure I'm actually getting anything significant out of LEGO besides that. It feels kind of empty. But maybe I'm being too harsh on myself, letting myself feel guilty over money too easily. I have no idea. Last time I quit Lego I slightly regretted it because I missed a lot of neat minifigures and stuff but at the same time having gotten back into it I perhaps expect TOO much. LEGO isn't the key to happiness or anything of course and lately it's just felt more wasteful. Plus it's freakin' expensive especially now that I live in the UK where everything is ridiculous prices. I'm having a LEGO life crisis.

This Club Nintendo thing is annoying. I really want that Demo but feel cheated. I've been a Platinum d00d forever except this latest year (which started in like July?) due to me moving countries. XP The Smash Bros roster on the other hand is okay. Really like the Duck Hunt d00d. I wish there were a few more like everything though.

I make games for a living and ironically right now I play games less than I ever have. When you work it you spend less time wanting to do it in your free time.

They've been done with this review stage for days now. I want an answer! This is one of the most interesting reviews yet.

Yellow is hardly a neutral color which is why that explanation is stupid. It's neutral for white and Asians maybe. I mean when they made Lando they faced the fact that yellow just doesn't cut it for black people.
