    I'm sure everyone here is capable of doing so, but that is not what we are arguing. It is mostly a societal thing. Having someone else believe in the female lead (TLG in this case) and making it so in sets is better than girls having to use their imagination to do so. IT sends a message that females in charge exist outside the imagination.

    I believe that is only for the cubbies with the new "new" and "Good for LEGO City/STAR WARS" tags on them. Apparently those bricks should be in stock for a 2 months or so befire the brick is replaced by another piece.

    This sounds like a good idea. I do have some questions we need to ask. Points system - We should decide if there are "winners" during the RPG or are we just acting out a story for fun as we go along? Do players have stats tables like in DnD and other similar games? How does ranking up work? How will these points be rewarded? Do we have to roll dice to determine outcomes of conflicts? Storyline - I think it would be cool to use a real map of the oceans. There should also be a game master that helps move the story along. I personally think it would be cool if the story lines last a relatively short time (months maybe) and when that storyline ends a completely new one (within the same universe) can be created for us to follow. This may help with new followers joining later. With the new storyline the game master can introduce a NPC faction (Islanders as an example, maybe a single pirate shoip crew) that we can incorporate into our builds of the story.

    From corporate's point of view, the MMH is a strict 1 per purchase give away. She was only following guidelines. I am assuming she probably could have explained that better. maybe it is just the Chicago way of dealing with people. That being said, depending on the age of your kids she could have: 1) Given you the other 2 MMH (unlikely because they should be way low of stock by now) 2) Given you a MMH as well as Ewar's Acro Fighter 3) Given you 3 Ewar's Acro Fighters if MMH was out of stock It is a constant battle I see, the employees want to make you guys happy and give you the GWPs, but management has guidelines that are fussy about.

    Gift with Purchase. This month, if you buy Chima you get a Chima poly bag for free. If your purchase exceeded $75 USD you got a Martian Manhunter minifigure for free (while the supply lasted).

    That was the Chima poly bag. That is a GWP for buying Chima. The manager should have been fine with giving out three of those. My store does if they kids are young.
