  1. It was, Dr D. I've read it, more than twice, it's there that I've found the part about dropping rubber to get the angles for the head, but I'm still struggling... got the legs not even in place because with the added weight with the inner structure re inforced, kinda fear that working on the head while the legs are in place will cause major disaster ^^
  2. If you can tell me, when you'll build the head, how you do it, I have to admit I'm stuck on that part of the build, everything else is done, but I can't manage the angles ^^
  3. I've been slowly building it also. As you've said, some parts are cough cough to find, for some, like the 8x8 dish, I simply dropped them for the legs. More problematic are the guns on the side of the head, those I need to order. I've modified the inner structure of the at at, to strenghten it. I have a bit of issue with the head so far, it's the most problematic, I can't get the angles right. It's a very challenging build anyway, and a VERY complicated moc to move around after that:) But.... even without the head, this monster on its legs is really impressive! and there's room for improving it, make an interior (as it is quite minifig sized):)
  4. after kate upton, rahat loukoum, you sure dig into modern culture to shape the SW universe:))) What makes the magic in those design is really the non geometrical standard shape. Most of the spacecraft are often very not curved, and here, it's not, like with the red crimson too... bravo!
  5. that's gorgeous Bob, trully. so much curves!! you've created a kate upton'ish ship :)
  6. I'm soon to finish mine too, but I'm struggling mostly with the head (getting the right angle for the head side is a nightmare lol), but I'm getting there, even if somes pieces are REALLY expensive. Didn't get the huge 2 wheels for the underside of body, too expensive. and..same goes for the 8" light grey dish (should have made the model in light gray:) ), there are 6 needed for this model, and they cost...nearly 80$ each.
  7. hope... we like...it?:) sure hell I did:) plus the soundtrack is really fitting the atmosphere and the lightning of your moc.
  8. interisting that thing about humbrol 127, on my AT AT (cavegod's moc), I really struggle for dish 8x8 in LBG, they are rare, and NOT cheap, by far.
  9. holy lego brick!!!:) This is really beautifull, and it's make with great sense of color, design and lights. That could make anyone wants to dig a hole under their house!:)
  10. well, that's breath taking. worth trying to try to build, really, because...it has a soul:)
  11. this is brilliant:)
  12. hum, those tires do not exist in grey sadly, would require a paint or finding something else that does the job:)
  13. fantastic, and the story is really interristing, so much details there, pfiou.
  14. this is eyes blazing. saw that two days ago on flikr, and I gasped to loud that my wife ran to me in panic :)
  15. this is really nicely done, I especially love how you've created the door.
  16. I'll start building the back of the SSD next month I think, I don't have the space for the whole sutff, neither the money, but the back is sexy as hell, so I'm thinking of a way to make it fun (maybe crashing in death star or warping. I'll support your kickstart, so banzai Fox Hound!!
  17. really great model, and really thanks for sharing the instructions, it's really nice!
  18. this is really a master piece, and truly ingenious, the internal structure alone is really smart.
  19. magnifique:) I had to say this in french since I'm so stunned.
  20. omg:)lol this explains that:) vertical landing aircraft that is, the design of the two large "fans" are surprising, I'm really stunned by what one can do with lego and a bit of imagination nowdays, not that the bricks have evolved that much, but LDD opens up a sky with no limit it seems:)
  21. Your lan supervisor allowed LDD to go online, that's great, me I can't where I work:)
  22. Very nice looking, the combination of red and dark bluish is perfect, and the overall shape of the spaceship is sexy:)
  23. look really nice, and yup, a minifig SD is just impossible, maybe if one of us is a multi millionary $$$ and got a really big hangar and a lot of patience:)
  24. hat down!! very nice moc indeed.
  25. thanks for your hints though, I do intend to do this once I receive my second UCS, but your work will help a lot, that is for sure.
