those wheel in the feet, I got them with my pack of lego I carry with me since the late 80ish year:))) right on spot 4 ones:) they look old, but that's not the point:)

the curves, the shape are really stunning, I mean, just the plasma beams are curved like I never saw. When I think about how much work that is on LDD and the level of mastering of LDD, gives me the creeps:)

ha, thanks for the hint Cavegod sensei:)

I've began to build this AT-AT, though still trying to figure first how to make it with an interior:) What is really costy in this build are the giant wheel 71mm, 130€ for two....

"The Dark Ages" - How long were you away from Lego?
deanorth replied to Duck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I stopped playing lego back late 80ish. I discovered it back 7 months ago, while I had my Achilles tendon break, and was forced to stay sitting for 2 months. While searching for what I could do while sitting for days, I stumble across internet with a vision of the UCS Falcon, and got a "hint" poping out in my mind. May brickling order later, and 10 days later I began building it, and since then, I'm in love with what you can do nowdays, though, it's not for playing anymore, it's a very different fun factor. -
Review Review: 10240 Red Five X-Wing Starfighter
deanorth replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Star Wars
the more I see the reviews, the more I want it, but still, I really dislike the nose of this model, but that's a point to mod in the futur.- 118 replies

Really something that I'll buy, prior to the UCS xwing. Lot of good part, lot of figs, and since I'm planing an endor diorama, this will come handy. gathering money begins now:)))

great stuff, I soon as I'll finish the star destroyer and the AT-AT, this one is next on my list.

BrickLinking (another) 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon
deanorth replied to Lobot's topic in LEGO Star Wars
My 10179 is nearly totally finished, I just need to buy the satellite dish (actually I have one withou any marks), and then...i'll mod the interior, and improve a bit the exterior. it's a pleasure to build, and worth the wait (like you, I had to wait a lot).- 290 replies

As for the others intructions I bought from you, those seems perfect, thanks for the time and effort spent Anio.
-
Just wahou... that's how the official set could look like, kinda an UCS set. Just for me, it should look a bit less clean, damaged I mean.
-
If LEGO ever ever release something related to that time line, I would be the happiest man in the world, I've been painting minis for years about that, and it's an area of History I really like:)
-
Really wonderfull, I'm speechless!
-
I've put side to side the three Tie fighter, the 9492, the old blue one, and ANio UCS one, and urg, the old blue one really is looking bad. Too bulky. I'll definitely try to create the tie bomber and the tie advanced with the same style as the 9492. Really some interristing pieces in that set also.
-
thanks for the review. I've finished building Anio's Tie UCS MOC, which is great, but not minifig sized, so I builded the old Tie fighter, and I can't stand it, too bulky and..blue. So I'll definitely buy this one, provide it EVER hit the shelves here in Reunion island store:/
