I don't think anyone has tried it, and I don't think I have the skills to build this, but, has anyone thought of building one of my favorite cars, the Venom GT ? If anyone doesnt know what i'm talking about, its the amazing car that accelerate faster than a veyron, and looks better in my opinion. Pics: http://www.automobil...m-gt-cfd-04.jpg <- close to blueprint as you can get <--spyder version 1244 hp!!! and is very light-video-

Love this model, although 9398's wheelbase seems too small for it maybe if it wins I'll buy it and make a better chassis... unless the 2013 flagship is expensive and amazing

looks awesome! too bad lego chains are too weak to drive anything with lots of torque and speed.... -
Hello everyone, heres something I thought up this morning, and turned out great! POWERFUL trike driven by two buggy motors, with servo steering. V2 receivers plus my two 10 volt batteries mean this thing gets CONSTANT wheel spin. Notice in the video it never gets to top speed because it wont stay in a straight line on the wooden floor and tile. Might go for a speed run outside on the asphalt. It's almost impossible to flip. Enjoy! Pics+Video: I love the trans-clear 15l liftarms will post video later...

Off-Roader

cool moc, reminds me quite a lot of my buggy moc I made a while ago: you just reminded me to make a topic about all these cool little MOCs I used to make -
that would be amazing, but I'd rather find out right now as I am about to reach my limit of eagerness I'm hoping for a good, technical vehicle, hopefully the next supercar , maybe licensed, and hopefully a truly 'modern' one that is rc, but, i'm sure i'll be impressed by anything the Technic team will bring out

a couple years ago my father and I snatched the last bid on ebay for the 8466, never opened, for $200 everything was fine except for old style not protected instructions were bit torn, oh how I loved building that set really made that years holiday season all the better Now just very eager to find out what "large rc set" will be for the flagship....Hopefully a supercar! now wondering if I should get the motocross bike, the grand prix racer, or both

Well, I guess it's because I have a knack for geometry and visualizing things in my head, because all the technic I've ever had was studless, I think I started with the 8048 when I was 10/11. But I agree they shouldn't completely stop the making of studded beams, even though I don't use them-but maybe that's because I have so few! I remember building an 8466 though, and I personally dont like studded frames because of the even placing of holes, instead of odd which is easy in studless...

can't stop looking at the headlights of Shuttletyderium's red and black offroader . The whole bodywork is great, wonder why so few votes-of course could be better color scheme, as red/black is too common...

9398 Faulty Parts
z3_2drive replied to 750ACE's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think Sariel's 9398 had battery box problems as well, I had none, and as for shock absorbers, i've never heard of springs being too soft, but definitely possible! Did you buy a new set from lego or in a store, or from sites like ebay? the first batch of models might have had minor defects like these... -

z3_2drive replied to z3_2drive's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Just finished building a very interesting MOC chassis. It's supposed to be a large dragster type car with interesting functions. After reading Sariel's book (it helped loads) I decided to have a go at pneumatic suspensions. Of course, there's been better, but im pretty satisfied. Four-link in rear with large cylinders. Pump powered by geared up L motor, and drivetrain by two buggy motors-which again, would be nice if u-joints were made of stronger plastic, as I've broken two already front servo steering on a pendular axle with springs. when I lowered the rear axle and used train remote to keep driveshaft in one piece....let me just say...SPEEEEED!!!! But try to keep it in a straight line or it WILL end badly...hmm...just like a drag car will post pictures/video sometime this week. hope everyone will like it
