I look forward to what you come up with, im guessing something like two motors on each side of a 5x7 bracket, and a differential in the middle, with (image) part on each side so motors can be parallel with the bracket? lol if I read your mind. -

Im not sure how to do an adder with all these motors...any ideas would be helpful though. as for strain or heat, my rally car does heat up, but only if its put under decent load or running nonstop for a while... -

yes, it will be easy because of the L motors' many pinholes, here is just m motors as a placeholder for the L's. -

ok, getting the hang of ldd, made a start to some kind of chassis, braced everything up, and I think i'll do this rather than buy a bunch of buggy motors because my dad has the final say on what I buy (its his money until I get a job) so two more L motors it is! Hopefully this will work-whatever it is -

I am away from home so no pictures but is it possible to connect four L motors together in a sort of planetary fashion? I am thinking of doing this for a offroad buggy or crawler, one thing for sure... it will be BIG im thinking like two motors side to side, and two more on top and bottom, each with a 24t gears, in this shape- + with another 24t in the middle -
I got really lucky a few weeks before christmas a year or two ago. Got the last bid on ebay at approx. $200. never opened(until I had fun building it) instructions were bit torn because of old-style packaging and for sitting in someones house for a DECADE! It was this bad boy:

I'm currently a student, and will take some digital design classes, and probably something along the lines of engineering or design in college. My dream job is to work for one of the major car companies and work with the things I love I believe that if you have a job, it has to be something that you would enjoy doing your whole life

Probably some rc's, like crawlers or baja trucks

double posts? I look forward to seeing what people come up with, as I have not so many regular bricks...

Thanks, I guess I could share some interesting models I built long ago, in case anyone would like to see more than pictures, like explanations or just discussion, like my modified version of zblj's raptor... A tip for people who use these tires on these rims- DO NOT LEAVE ANY WATER IN THEM! Because you'll take off the tires days later like me and go from the smell -

Well, I found that picture right after the post, at the time I had only pictures of chassis, because I took it apart for my upcoming Crawler V2 -

Hello, I want to start a topic for all my WIP mocs for help and what not, and a place for all my unfinished projects or ideas. I'll start off by posting some pictures of my buggy chassis, with 2 l motors and a servo, and all wheel suspension: two l motors for drive, geared down once, and tires spin off start good suspension travel... with simple body..
-
Hello EB members, heres a MOC I long put off posting for who knows why. It's a great looking car with no panels, just angle connectors, liftarm supports, 4 flex axles, and my whole supply of 2L axles. As for functionality, buggy motor for 4WD, servo for steering, transverse inline 3 working engine(4 wouldnt fit), and a radiator fan. This was before the rally car chassis, so performance was bad, probably from so much friction. I had trouble running the gears from the far output, and because of the offset sizes of the buggy motor, combined with my minimum width needed. You can see it here...(if you think the 20t double bevel goes into second output, you're wrong, i blocked it off with a 2l axle) more pics: my sketch of the real thing: And special thanks to zblj for letting me use his front steering/drive and giving me tips
